15/09/2024: There are very good baked goods here and we had a nice French breakfast.
09/09/2024: The previous account which was very poorly rated was renamed then closed while the old Dupont account with a tea which was better rated resurfaced under the name Meunier.
Let's hope that apart from this sleight of hand the team took the negative opinions into account and did what was necessary.
To be redone to be sure.

03/12/2024: A warm welcome. A nice decor. The dish of the day on the slate “Scallops with tagliatelle with cider cream” brought us in. And we were not disappointed. It was great. The great chefs who peeled mussels for my mother, who has a disability, really touched us.
5-star service from a dynamic and friendly team. We recommend with our eyes closed and we will come back as soon as possible.

10/08/2024: Came to drink coffee this morning, we waited a long time before leaving... without drinking coffee. The waiter simply ignored us, walking past us many times without paying any attention to us, but according to the customers around, we weren't the only dissatisfied people. I think this waiter needs to change jobs.

08/09/2024: they have large rooms upstairs, but always closed (probably to avoid cleaning) what do we do when we want to eat on site when there are no free tables? otherwise quite fast on service
01/09/2024: For the taste it's a McDonald's, for the rest really not great, burger completely smashed and barely assembled, but still that's okay it's a classic, the worst is the ice cream service, mcflurries which cost a lot expensive and whose filling does not even reach half the pot, by calculating we reach a little less than 100g of ice cream for almost 6€, it's rubbish, what's more, it's not the first time at all, on my last 4 orders, not once was the mcflurry filled correctly having already worked at Mcdo, I'm not the type to spit on them, but frankly in Caen Center no effort is made, customer service of Uber which also does not help this problem in any way either

23/08/2024: Expensive and very bad! Even simple vanilla ice cream is not good! In addition, it seems that the freezing was very poorly managed because all the ice creams were full of ice cubes.
Unfriendly staff!
23/08/2024: Arrived around 6:15 p.m. to enjoy pancakes and waffles...the manager did not wish to receive us... We went to eat elsewhere, less careful and above all more commercial... too bad you lost customers (addition paid to your neighbors+ 70€)

25/08/2024: Very bad experience. 5 people in store and 2 people in service normally this should be smooth. A customer asks for 4 sandwiches, we make 1 for her and we tell her we don't have time to make the others!!??. A person assigned to supply the windows, she scratches her hair and blows on top of the cakes because she seems disinterested in what she is doing, too bad it is only 7:30 a.m. and HACCP!!!! A 6th customer arrives and walks past everyone under the pretext that he has a loyalty card!!??
The products may be good, but I turned back and this allowed me to discover the perfect place facing the covered market.
11/08/2024: Passant la période d'été a Houlgate depuis fin juin, j'achète en général le pain et les croissants pour le week end. Or, depuis début août, j'ai pu constater que ces fameux croissants sont 2 fois plus petits, non seulement ont changé de forme, ont la forme de croissants en supermarché et on a l'impression de mini croissants. Je trouve cela bien triste et choquant. C'est l'été et on en profite. On pourrait mieux traiter les clients réguliers.Tres déçue, je n'en achèterai plus.

Fries not included and just cooked and sparse, overcooked meat, fatty etc.
Just disgusting (literally), I wouldn't have given it to the dog...
Next time we'll go straight to the restaurant 🤮

10/08/2024: La table était à peine débarrassée, les serviettes en papier avaient déjà été utilisées, les couverts n’étaient pas disposés.
Le garçon a apporté 3 verres pour les cocas en mettant ses doigts à l’intérieur des verres.
Le repas était médiocre. Le moelleux au chocolat était hyper dur. Les glaces étaient servies à la cuillère à soupe ou à dessert selon les coupes. La glace citron était complètement givrée.
Le jeune homme qui servait était plein de bonne volonté mais ce n’était vraiment pas son métier ni son choix d’être là.
La vaisselle n’était vraiment pas propre.
18/06/2024: I strongly advise against this establishment, the very long wait of 1/2 hour to take an order, 1/2 hour more without bread or drinks, the owner comes with unordered melon to keep you waiting. We left taking a look at the kitchens, which were really very dirty. No hygiene, non-competent staff, and insulting boss.

24/08/2024: It doesn't look like much, you arrive and ask for a croque with fries and you get what you asked for, the gas and all on your own and you manage like a boss.
You get what you pay for and it's not like a restaurateur who knows nothing about it.
So I highly recommend it.
11/08/2024: I came last year the staff was friendly.
There we had inappropriate comments. They do not respect the wishes of customers with children.
It's really a shame!
