27/07/2026: A real gem! We were recommended Café du Nord in Arnay-le-Duc during our trip to Burgundy, and we absolutely didn't regret it. Generous dishes, prepared with local and/or organic products. The wine was also excellent. A huge thank you for your warm welcome and kindness. We will gladly return if we are ever back in the area.

31/08/2026: ⭐ 1/5 A very bad experience at this café. I simply came to buy a Joue Super 200 card, but the welcome and the way I was treated made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt a cold, dismissive, and different attitude towards me, particularly because of my foreign origin. The way the owner looked at me and answered me clearly made me feel unwelcome because I'm not French. The women there weren't particularly friendly either. I find this behavior completely unacceptable. I absolutely do not recommend this café and strongly advise against going there, especially to foreigners.

21/03/2026: We discovered that Au P'tit Creux d'Is serves couscous! What can I say?! This Kabyle couscous is simply divine! The semolina is incredibly light! We opted for takeout! The portions are very generous! The broth is very flavorful! The owners are incredibly friendly! I think couscous night is now going to be part of our routine! This couscous is that good! Well done! We wish the owners continued success!

19/08/2026: We had a pleasant and relaxing stay. The room was very comfortable, especially the bedding, and the air conditioning was efficient. Dinner was perfect. A special mention for the very warm welcome. We will be back.

07/09/2026: When I walked in - for some reason the man told me "Full" even though they were almost empty and I saw a couple just wondering in. And he was not nice about it either. I was very confused and unhappy. Went to Le Béléna instead, enjoyed it.

17/07/2026: A small restaurant I hadn't known about before, but well worth discovering. A warm welcome, a very friendly waitress, and a very professional owner. We ordered a starter, main course, and dessert: everything was excellent. What's more, the owner offered us a complimentary infused rum, a thoughtful touch. I highly recommend this place!

06/10/2026: A place to discover without delay. The food is exceptional, both the Japanese and the pizza sections. And the owners are lovely. The place to be in Meursault!

14/09/2026: Truly a fabulous and special place. We arrived without reservation for lunch and the restaurant was full. Yuki-san was most welcoming and graciously set up a new table in the shade of the courtyard for us. The wine list was extensive and the Antichtone 2023 aligoté she suggested was superb, served coddled in its chilled jacket. We shared a starter of terrine of comte, beef and vin jaune, and had tonkatsu pork and beef tataki for our respective mains. All excellent!. No photos of food to share as we were happily too distracted by the lovely dining experience.

04/10/2026: A small, very charming restaurant in the heart of Beaune. Excellent, unpretentious cuisine and a remarkably warm hostess, Agnès, who contributes significantly to the special atmosphere. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and highly recommended.

06/10/2026: Very close to my home (I'm a new resident), this was my first visit, and I thought I'd find a restaurant I could frequent two or three times a month. I didn't find the food particularly sophisticated, and the decor was bland and uninspired. We ordered fish skewers with bacon. The skewers should have been seared for crispiness, and the steak tartare should have been prepared with a knife where half the fish wasn't even cut. I'm moving in during a period of major construction, and I thought I'd send the contractors to do it—NOT!

10/10/2026: We came as a family earlier this week to celebrate my mom's birthday and, as usual, we received a very warm welcome! I tried a new dish, the chicken linguine, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The parsley sauce really added a lot of flavor—it was delicious! The dessert, a sweet risotto, was also very good. Thank you to the whole team for the warm welcome and this lovely time spent with family. We'll gladly come back! 😊

And it feels so good! 😄 Nanard delighted us from start to finish. He's the kind of owner you rarely see: he single-handedly manages both the service and the cooking, with a simplicity and generosity that make the experience truly unique. You almost feel like you're at a friend's house. The dishes are simple, unpretentious, but oh so delicious and flavorful! The wines are also excellent, with very reasonable prices. In short, a rare, authentic, and welcoming place, where you come as much for the food as for the time spent around the table. Thank you, Nanard, for this wonderful time! We'll be back with great pleasure. 🍷
