11/05/2026: Restaurant: Disappointed, given the reviews that led us to choose this place. Very friendly welcome and pleasant atmosphere. Wines: very good. The main courses were excellent. Pastilla and duck breasts were perfect and generous. But: Foie gras: Small and bland, which is surprising for the region! Desserts were truly disappointing. Millefeuille: soggy pastry and mediocre cream. Strawberry tiramisu: not a single biscuit, which is the foundation, even if it's a modern twist. Mijito: where's the rum? So... Disappointed.

15/07/2026: Périgord Traiteur literally saved our wedding! Organizing the event at a private residence already made logistics complex. Fortunately, they had given us excellent advice beforehand, recommending we use a generator. And they were right! Following a major storm, we experienced power issues and electrical problems with it. The situation could have been very complicated, but thanks to their incredible adaptability, we were able to pull off the wedding. We owe them a huge part of its success. The entire process, from the initial quotes to the closing of the night bar, was handled with exceptional professionalism and warmth. We felt supported and perfectly guided throughout the preparations. The entire team on site was simply fantastic. And what can I say about the meal... I don't even know how they managed to deliver such a high-quality experience despite the electrical problems and setbacks! Our guests all loved the food; it was incredibly varied and of exceptional quality. A thousand thanks to Périgord Traiteur for being our saviors and for delighting everyone!

15/08/2026: Everything is (very) good at this restaurant! - The friendly and cheerful welcome, and the attention paid to the tables. - The main dining room (air-conditioned): beautiful, clean, spacious, and well-decorated (kudos for the flooring!). - The menu is crystal clear: very easy to read and sometimes even funny. - The quality of the mocktails (I'm not usually a fan, but the non-alcoholic piña is fantastic). - The quality of the dishes (special mention for the flank steak, which has very high-quality meat and is cooked to perfection). - An open kitchen that makes you want to eat. * Balanced budget and good value for money: Two aperitifs, a bottle of sparkling water, a starter to share (see photo), two main courses, and two desserts, all for about €40 per person. In short, I highly recommend it. Well done and best of luck! (The man who was looking for the toilet without taking off his sunglasses 🕶️ 😂)

14/08/2026: After two hours of canoeing around Brantôme, the whole family needed to recharge. So we headed to the restaurant. We were greeted with a big smile and efficient service, and the menu was both simple and comprehensive, making our mouths water. Adults and children alike thoroughly enjoyed their meals, with generous portions that were just the right amount, featuring high-quality ingredients and expertly prepared dishes. And the desserts were simply divine (a special shout-out to the dessert of the day: lemon, mascarpone, and speculoos)! In short, everything was perfect, down to the smallest detail. PS: Even the air conditioning was perfectly adjusted; even though we were sitting directly underneath it, we weren't bothered at all.

14/08/2026: Honestly, it's one of the best all-you-can-eat buffets I've ever been to. The food is excellent, the service is impeccable, and all for €20 it's incredibly good value. I highly recommend it. (I advise you to get the sushi; it's excellent.)

30/07/2026: We decided to stop at Vin Quatre with our friends for lunch. The service was perfect; the young woman who looked after us was smiling, cheerful, and very friendly. A special mention goes to the gentleman who brought the dishes for our large table 😍 The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The chef, working alone in the kitchen, did a fantastic job from start to finish. Well done to your team! We will definitely return if we are ever in Sarlat again.

02/08/2026: I've been going to this place for over 10 years, so on my way to vacation, this is the first time I've found the toilets truly filthy and the tables disgusting. I asked a young man to give them a quick clean, but he only did mine; the one next to mine was worse, but it didn't even occur to him. And yet, it was past 1 p.m. and there weren't many people there. What a shame.

31/07/2026: Staff taking a cigarette break in the outdoor play area surrounded by children! It's unacceptable, a lack of respect, especially when it's staff members!
