22/08/2026: We stopped for lunch and were greeted by the manager, who is also the chef. We had a very good meal and received a warm welcome. We highly recommend it; it's all homemade!

16/08/2026: A place we stumbled upon that definitely deserves to be better known! We ate there twice in one week because we enjoyed it so much 😋 Delicious food made with fresh ingredients, all served by a charming (and proud) bear of a man with whom we had a lovely chat! The dishes offered were low-quality and lacked flavor. Ultimately, it was very expensive for what we ate. We will not be returning and we will not recommend it."

15/09/2026: Daglan is a lovely and historical village and is enhanced by this lovely restaurant. The service was very good and the food delicious, particularly the Grand Marnier souffle! Wines also were excellent and all in all our meal was great value. Highly recommended!

10/09/2026: Only recommended for people with a looooot of time. We sat for 1.5 hours waiting for our food. Even the French people at the next table were embarrassed and complained. We left without eating. Absolutely no recommendation for this place!

15/09/2026: A lovely place to eat, attentive staff, but let down by the food. If you are used to proper Indian food, this place disappoints. My tandoori lamb was cold, cooked a long time before. When I complained, got the same dish back, heated. Tough as Leather. The rest of the dishes were ordinary.

11/09/2026: Excellent Curries , Service & a lovely experience we eat Curries regularly on our travels & this place is excellent Chicken Tikka Biriani with Madras sauce , Chicken Jalfrezi , Keema Nan & Chutney tray , small bottle of wine & a small Kingfisher €62 Euros everything was quality the staff are very friendly & helpful we highly rate this restaurant

17/09/2026: Very pleasant 👌🏻 Passing through the area, we had a great meal. The set menu of the day was excellent, the andouillette sausage was superb, and the chocolate mousse was light and airy 🥰. The waitress was very kind and welcoming. Thank you for this wonderful meal! 👌🏻👍🏻

08/09/2026: Air-conditioned room advertised but not in service, the pork mince with cream was too tough and we couldn't find the cream, and finally the homemade chocolate mousse hadn't set and was therefore liquid.

09/09/2026: A very good experience at this establishment. The menu is easy to understand and the dishes are excellent. The service is perfect from appetizer to dessert. A place to recommend without hesitation. The prices are in line with the menus. A place to remember without a doubt. Congratulations!

A wonderful discovery, with refined and generous cuisine. We will definitely be back! Well done to the whole team!

18/09/2026: We came to eat there by chance the first time, and we have nothing to say except that we received a very warm welcome and our meal was delicious. We returned a second time and were again warmly welcomed by the owner, despite being from the Amiens area (80) – a little joke so he would recognize us! Don't hesitate to stop by; you won't be disappointed.

14/09/2026: Despite the crowds (it being market day), we managed to get a table inside. The set menu (main course and dessert) was very affordable, and we enjoyed our meal. The owner was helpful and honest. Good business. We'll definitely go back when we're in Sarlat-la-Canéda, but we'll remember to book in advance.

28/07/2026: We came across this local restaurant accidentally during out Dordogne trip and i thought it merits special mention. Although its appearance is of a robust local hotel/restaurant, the food that the two "filles" create is of Michelin star quality, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff (including the two ladies who own and run the place) are among the friendliest and fun we have met during out trip. We had our dog with us, who was also very welcome If you are in the area, I really recommend this place.

11/07/2026: Extremely welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely dinner with typical regional food and spent the night there.

23/08/2026: Excellent roast chicken 👌 A bit pricey, probably because of the quality, so not for those on a tight budget. You can't eat in on Sundays, so it's takeout only. There's even a vending machine next door when the rotisserie is closed.
