09/06/2026: This is such an easy 5 star review, this place is brilliant. Food was exceptional, I had snails followed by beef tartare, I urge you to finish with the crème brûlée, classic French menu. This was part of the set menu @ €35 with lots of other choices, so clearly great value. Add to that great atmosphere and you have a winning combination. Love this place.

01/06/2026: Lured by the menu outside, we sat down inside. Once we received the paper menus, we noticed that the menu was different, with several variations. We pointed this out, and the owner's wife, very rudely, said they were identical. We decided to continue with dinner anyway, despite this... the food was not good, obviously reheated, and the service was extremely slow! Not recommended.

23/05/2026: An absolutely incredible place: "Le Catalan"! We had a perfect time from beginning to end. The whole team is lovely: smiling, attentive, and truly helpful servers, warm owners who immediately put you at ease, and a chef who takes excellent care of his customers. You can feel a real passion and a family atmosphere that's rare these days. The food is generous, flavorful, and prepared with great care. Special mention goes to the Spritz, which are simply excellent! Each dish arrives beautifully presented, hearty, and full of flavor. What also impressed us was the organization: the open kitchen is impeccable… not a sound, no visible stress, everything runs perfectly and smoothly. It's a pleasure to see such a professional team while remaining fun, relaxed, and incredibly welcoming. Smiles and good humor are everywhere. A restaurant where you eat very well, but above all, where you feel truly at ease. A superb discovery in Beaulieu-sur-Mer; we will definitely be back!

26/09/2025: A very friendly place, perfect for an evening with friends. Tapas, open-faced sandwiches, and incredibly fresh desserts. I highly recommend it, not to mention the excellent service. 👍👏

14/06/2026: I won't be back! Review June 2026 Returned to this place after a year. The steak tartare has changed since 2025; for the same price, they've added fake fries instead of baked potatoes, and last year they brought a bit of bread with the same tartare; this year, nothing. The paprika-battered chicken was quite dry. The fries as a side dish cost a whopping €7. The prices are high for the quality and quantity offered. The food and drinks are nothing special. The drinks were in plastic cups, and they didn't even use the Moscow Mule glass. Only one girl was friendly, the others were quite rude. The tables are perfectly placed, both outside and on the terrace; everyone is packed together and can't even move. In short, it's the classic place that only exists for the sea view... if it were inland, many wouldn't go there. Review June 2025 Good hummus with pita, tartare, and potatoes. The place has a sea view, certainly better enjoyed from the upper balcony, if you can find a table. I didn't like the Monsieur S. Crémant de Limoux Brut Nature wine. The service was moderately friendly. Reservations recommended.

13/06/2026: The atmosphere is nice and the staff are attentive. However, the food is very unsuccessful. How difficult can it be to make hummus? It was truly tasteless, like hummus from supermarkets with chickpeas on top. The octopus and baked potatoes were tasty, but what's pork doing with seafood??? It's a very absurd combination. The chef wanted to experiment with strange things in the Caesar salad and went very far from the classic recipe. Honestly, the food looks very good visually, but the taste is equally unsuccessful. The place can only be chosen for drinks.

21/02/2026: The crepes were half burnt. I asked for takeout and they were served on a piece of paper. In short, a ruined dessert. What a shame, the rest of the meal was okay. Honestly, they really need to improve; it's truly shameful.

18/02/2026: I wanted to congratulate the Flunch team. We arrived early, at 11:30 am, because we had an appointment afterward. The whole team was fantastic: those setting up the food, the cashier, the meat cooks, the ice cream maker... truly exceptional politeness, kindness, and smiles to boot. It's true it was the beginning of service, but it was a real pleasure. Thank you, keep up the good work! 👏🏻

20/06/2026: A small, very welcoming restaurant with attentive and friendly staff. The meal was excellent, featuring local produce and a focus on short supply chains, which is so rare these days. Everything is homemade, you can be sure of that. The menu has a limited selection, which further guarantees the freshness of the ingredients. Thank you for this wonderful experience. 05/06/2026: The wine selection is a nice concept, but the food is very mediocre, not to mention that there's mint in 90% of the dishes and it's not even mentioned. It's not to everyone's taste and it's very overpowering; it's extremely unpleasant.

28/01/2026: I was looking for a place to eat something quick and good. I found this bakery that also makes pizza sandwiches, desserts, and coffee. Warm welcome with a smile.

20/01/2026: Nothing more... however, access to the room is impossible 45 minutes before the displayed closing time... a recurring practice among many businesses in France... the displayed time is often the staff's time, not the customer's... just so you know 🤦

09/04/2026: From the outside, you definitely wouldn't expect an Asian restaurant (new sushi). The staff is very attentive, but I'm not convinced by the food (except for the house cocktail, which is definitely worth a try!).

02/01/2026: There's nothing to say: we ate well and relaxed, which was exactly what we wanted after a stroll along the seafront. The service was excellent; the waitress who served us was truly friendly and welcoming. The food was good and perfect for a snack. We'll definitely be back if the opportunity arises.
