17/09/2024: Incredible spot to go out to eat. Generous portion sizes, friendly staff, good vibes, and amazing food that is out of this world. The braised duck and the frog legs in particular were full flavoured, juicy, tender, and left you full but you wish you could keep eating them.

19/09/2024: I passed by this pizzaria during a hike and it was a great discovery! They don't just make pizzas but also delicious dishes (thanks to the wild boar stew with gnocchi, excellent), homemade, and inexpensive. Only critical criticism: I would have liked to have more!! The place is nice, located in front of the main square, and the owner is also very nice. Very good memory of the ride.

01/09/2024: A very pleasant surprise during a visit to Cipieres. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food is excellent: the wild boar stew is visibly patiently simmered and the gnocchi are homemade. To discover.

12/09/2024: We had a pleasant lunch. The dishes were very good, linguine with prawns and duck breast with orange. Delicious non-alcoholic cocktails. We had a pleasant time with the view of a very quiet little square. The servers are attentive.

10/09/2024: Nice discovery a few meters from my home. Family management, courteous service, generous portion, fair price, shady location. The fish & chips and crumble were very good! The only downside could be the noise because the Max Barel roundabout is trafficked I will definitely go back

14/09/2024: Accueil et service pas chaleureux. J’ai pris une assiette avec 4 nems à 16,90€ qui n’était même pas accompagné de vrai feuilles de salades et la menthe était abîmée. Un coca à 5,50€ … c’est bien décevant sachant que nous sommes dans une brasserie

11/08/2024: Decoiverte de ce restaurant tout près de chez moi... Quelle agreable surprise que cette prestigieuse adresse. Un acceuil chalereux par la propriétaire du metier.... au premier coup d'oeil 30 et quelques années d'ancienneté à cette afresse ca ne s'invente pas... Un grand coup de chapeau à cette charmante dame pour son acceui, pour l'apero, le plat un carpaccio de boeuf qui n'a l'air de rien mais.... Servi dans les plus grandes règles de l'Art avec un grand A vous remarquerez ! Je suis Artiste Chanteur ayant avec ma femme Sonia ' Le Pacha Cabaret " à Menton face au vieux Port pendant 17 ans ça ne s'invente pas non plus. Habitué des très beaux et bons restaurant je mets des étoles à la " Cave Saint Tropez " pour ce succulent repas viande extra, frites maison super, pousses épinard extra assaisonnement à point avec endives extra mélangées... Un quart de rouge super, une Ile Flottante généreuse avec un cafe ristretto mokito pour ne pas le citer 👍 Un reel sans faute... Client conquis par cette gente dame et son cuisinier à ne pas oublier le pauvre. Je suis accidenté en fauteuil roulant et me suis senti très à l'aise sur cette rerrasse ombragée... un grand bravo madame.... Vous avez gagné un client qui en parlera à beaucoup de monde. 08/09/2024: We could walk past it without stopping (very small, few tables, a small terrace on the edge of the semi-pedestrian lane of the old village of Colle sur Loup...) and we would be very wrong because the cuisine is superb (des tasty dishes, with daring but always successful compositions...) a real treat, a real surprise, a real good gastronomic moment. The 5 flavors menu (with little choice, but all the proposals are exceptionally successful in their flavors) at 65 euros is worth the detour. There are only a few differences with the 3 flavors menu at 57 euros but it would be wrong to deprive yourself of the appetizer and the pre-dessert (what originality, what delicacy!) One small downside, the wine list does not match the dishes offered (a Languedoc wine and a Graves at more than 40 euros per bottle, it is not good value for money] but that No matter the rest is exceptional, you have to go there.

20/09/2024: Service épouvantable, si on vous dérange il faut le dire… Parce que nous avons annoncé en arrivant que nous avions un train à prendre on dirait que vous avez pris un plaisir à servir toutes les tables alentours, arrivées après nous, avant nous !!! Minable service, une honte… On est parti sans dessert et sans café.

04/09/2024: Attratti dai pesci e frutti di mare esposti in bella mostra, abbiamo deciso di fare un veloce pranzo a l'Oursin (che, in quel momento, di certo non traboccava di gente); l'esperienza è stata pessima da ogni punto di vista. Io ho preso un piatto di crudo, mentre mia moglie il menù del giorno. Nel mio piatto solo le ostriche erano gradevoli; le conchiglie erano secche e dure, i gamberi erano assolutamente dozzinali (nemmeno crudi ma precotti) e le fasolare piene di sabbia (ed una direttamente andata a male). Il menù del giorno di mia moglie comprendeva, un piatto principale composto da un trancio di pesce molto deludente, ed un dessert affrettato ed insapore. Pessimo il servizio: raramente abbiamo visto tanta maleducazione da parte di una sola cameriera (una ragazza giovane, mentre un'altra signora ai tavoli era certamente più cordiale) che ha prima rotto un bicchiere a pochi centimetri da noi, col rischio anche di ferirci e non ha pensato nemmeno di scusarsi e, dopo, quando le abbiamo chiesto se poteva portare il dolce del menù del giorno (era passata un'ora e mezza da quando ci eravamo seduti, durante i quali avevamo ricevuto solo il piatto di crudo ed il "piatto del giorno", ci ha risposto (testuale) "dovete aspettare". Quando le ho fatto presente che non è quello il modo di rivolgersi a dei clienti, ha finto di chiedere scusa (finto, perchè il tono e le espressioni facciali erano tutt'altro rispetto a chi è dispiaciuto) , affermando che si era espressa male, parlando poco l'italiano (cosa che nessuno le aveva chiesto di fare, dato che mi ero rivolto a lei in inglese ... e se i francesi hanno problemi con l'inglese, beh, crescano un po' nella scala evolutiva). Francamente due ore buttate.

18/07/2024: My recent stay at The Eze Hermitage was a horrifying ordeal that should serve as a stark warning to anyone considering booking a stay there. The nightmare began with the absence of air conditioning in our room, which forced us to leave the balcony door of our second floor room slightly ajar for ventilation. This lack of comfort turned into a catastrophic lapse in security when an intruder managed to climb up onto our balcony and break into our room. We woke up to find the man crawling into our room and stealing $400 worth of our belongings. To add insult to injury, when we rushed downstairs for assistance, we discovered that the front desk was deserted and there was no night security, contrary to what the management had claimed. We were left to fend for ourselves in a distressing situation that could have easily been avoided with proper safety measures. Clearly, we found another hotel for the second night of our trip, as staying at The Eze Hermitage was no longer an option. Despite the severity of the incident, the inn demonstrated a shocking lack of accountability and customer service. After enduring a week of fruitless back-and-forth communications, they made a great show of their so-called "generosity" for not charging us for the second night we didn't stay and grudgingly offered only a partial refund for the one night, which does nothing to compensate for the trauma and financial loss we suffered. In summary, The Eze Hermitage is a prime example of negligence and poor hospitality. I strongly advise against staying here unless you want to risk your safety and well-being.

12/07/2024: I stopped for a coffee at the hotel bar, the Italian bartender did not want to make me a coffee even though he was serving coffees to 4 hotel guests. He told me to ask the lady at reception......who prepared it for me "very kindly"....with a smile....!!!

16/08/2024: I recommend without hesitation, we stopped to eat an ice cream and we were able to chat with the very friendly owner as well as his young waitress. The boss advised us to go visit Gourdon and we thank him because we were amazed 🥰. It is with pleasure that we will come back to visit him next year. A very good continuation (the Orléans)😉

07/09/2024: Réservation de 2 transats avec un site de vente promo. Accueil très sympathique avec le plagiste qui nous s’installe selon nos souhaits. L’endroit est calme pas d’enfant , mais on est en septembre. Déjeuner sur place , service rapide nourriture bonne et copieuse. Le plagiste passe de temps en temps pour savoir si on veux plus ou moins d’ombre ou pas. Lors du départ le plagiste nous fait remarquer que nous avons pas pris les boissons offerte avec la vente promo, nous avions complètement oublier que c’était compris avec la réservation en ligne sur le site. Ils nous a donc offerts les 4 cafés que nous avons consommés. Nous avons passer une très agréable journée.

21/08/2024: I can't believe the comment from this person who says that the welcome from the manager leaves something to be desired!!!! IMPOSSIBLE !! Furthermore, we had a great time, it was EXCELLENT and we even asked for a different menu for our granddaughter, which was done without any problem.... we highly recommend LE COZY for its ALWAYS warm welcome and its excellent cuisine.

28/09/2024: I know I'm in France... and I shouldn't have ordered a pizza but I did. The crust wasn't fully cooked and the taste was bland. They served it with what appeared to be a chili oil but that also didn't have any flavour to it. As it was the only dish ordered, my rating can only be based on this. The restaurant was definitely busy as it was Saturday afternoon and there were two people serving. The one woman appeared to be doing most of the serving in the entire restaurant while a gentleman appeared here and there. Maybe I just stopped in on the wrong day at the wrong time and ordered the wrong thing because I just don't see how this could be so highly rated.

23/09/2024: We left immediately, asked if there was still room with a "hello" and "please". The reception was poor, telling us to wait at least 30 minutes in a contemptuous and non-courteous tone. Please review your welcome.
