27/09/2024: We stayed a few nights at Mas Candille and to get used to the beautiful 5-star establishments, here is our experience: - The hotel is located in a peaceful environment, in the heart of Mougins. The view is splendid! - Our arrival at the hotel was absolutely not warm. The gentleman at reception neither welcomed us, nor offered refreshments, nor a tour of the premises... He simply asked us our name and gave us the room card. - The room is new, in a cozy style. The bedding is excellent! - The restaurant for dining overlooks a pretty swimming pool. We waited 15 minutes before a server took our order. - The restaurant's kitchen is open to the tables. Which is generally appreciable provided that the kitchen is not a place of chatter and a noise nuisance for the terrace! The chef and his brigade were particularly noisy and constantly on their cell phones and laptops. Damage. - The dishes were very good and the servers were pleasant. - Back in the room, a very loud noise from the outside air conditioning prevented us from getting to sleep. We asked to change rooms the next day. - Breakfast is very good. The room is not spacious but the staff are pleasant. - The establishment has a second very large and heated swimming pool. The problem: no service around the swimming pool. No one to welcome or available. In a 4 star, this would be normal. Finally, the overall experience is a little disappointing, especially since we regularly go to Mas de Pierre, which is a real guarantee of 5-star quality. We are well aware that Mas Candille opened its doors a few months ago and that the team may struggle to get up to speed.

30/08/2024: Very disappointing in terms of reception. A former customer of Mas de Candille before the change, it was made clear to me that it was impossible to take advantage of the swimming pool even if we had lunch at lunchtime at the POOL, a massage at the spa and another dinner in the evening! Night time is essential! No problem we will go elsewhere...

18/08/2024: The food was INCREDIBLE!!! Very good choice for a quite dinner!

10/08/2024: Excellent meat (the entrecôte is delicious), very friendly staff and a pleasant terrace. Really, I recommend.

18/09/2024: We ate very well during our stay during our vacation. Superb flavors and a little extra for the service 😉 We recommend!

08/09/2024: We could walk past it without stopping (very small, few tables, a small terrace on the edge of the semi-pedestrian lane of the old village of Colle sur Loup...) and we would be very wrong because the cuisine is superb (des tasty dishes, with daring but always successful compositions...) a real treat, a real surprise, a real good gastronomic moment. The 5 flavors menu (with little choice, but all the proposals are exceptionally successful in their flavors) at 65 euros is worth the detour. There are only a few differences with the 3 flavors menu at 57 euros but it would be wrong to deprive yourself of the appetizer and the pre-dessert (what originality, what delicacy!) One small downside, the wine list does not match the dishes offered (a Languedoc wine and a Graves at more than 40 euros per bottle, it is not good value for money] but that No matter the rest is exceptional, you have to go there.

27/09/2024: The value for money is not good at all. Very small portions. The duck breast was not a treat for the palate. The fish platter wasn't very good either. The food wasn't bad but nothing extraordinary either. I wouldn't eat there again. The service was nothing special either

22/09/2024: Disappointed by this first experience, fish good but lukewarm. Beef that was undercooked, only the dessert was appreciated, we will not repeat the experience

02/10/2024: There is no air conditioning (the air conditioning is turned off) because they claim that the atmosphere does not need air conditioning, in addition to the smell of cigarettes everywhere and the treatment is bad. I do not recommend it at all

30/10/2024: Fuyez cet endroit où on parle de cuisine niçoise donc provençale !! Les touristes qui découvrent cette cuisine ne sauront jamais que la vraie cuisine niçoise est magnifique. Honteux : petits farcis niçois immangeables (farce infâme légumes crus) une daube (morceaux gélatineux donc très mauvaise qualité avec sauce tomate / aucun rapport avec la daube provençale !!) Bref une pauvre serveuse qui ramasse les assiettes pleines en s’échappant et en évitant de poser la question d’une quelconque satisfaction : elle connaît la réponse. !!!

25/10/2024: Comida agradable y un excelente servicio en un restaurante familiar francés. Grandes porciones sabrosas a gran precio. Inglés hablado. Nos gustó particularmente los Moules. Mucho en salsa sabrosa con papas fritas y pan para empapar todo. Disfrutamos con una botella de sidra seca.

28/08/2024: Fantastic dinner. I came across this restaurant by chance together with my girlfriend, we were immediately captivated by the atmosphere and the menu. Two jazz musicians played live, the very kind and knowledgeable waitress also spoke Italian. I took the bouche chevre salad and the duck cooked in honey and figs (dish of the day, in the photo) and both positively surprised me. My girlfriend had ceviche and asparagus risotto, which were also excellent.

17/08/2024: We are always very well received, the menu is short and changes frequently (synonymous with freshness, quality and respect for the seasons) and the atmosphere is so much warmer than that of the soulless restaurants in the port of Beaulieu... In short, go there with your eyes closed! You might have the chance to meet the cutest dog in the world...

16/08/2024: We came three times. We liked the menu, fresh home-cooked products. Pleasant setting surrounded by greenery, which makes you forget the street. Keep it up! We will come back.
