20/08/2026: Very disappointing experience We've been here many times before and, while it has always been just okay, we've never had an experience quite like this one. Tonight was genuinely disappointing. The service was poor, the food arrived cold, and our steak was rare and extremely chewy. We sent it back, but when it came back, the server didn't even bother to ask whether it was now okay or how the steak was. (Surprise, it was still rare and chewy) Considering it was the beginning of the evening service, the level of attentiveness was pretty shocking. What really made the experience worse, however, was the male server with ginger hair. We were dining with our baby, and from the outset he seemed visibly unimpressed that we had a baby with us. He specifically warned us that if the restaurant got busy, he would need the table back. I'm sorry, but where exactly did he expect the baby to sit when you've seated us at a table for two? On the floor? It's completely reasonable for a restaurant to have policies around tables and seating, but there is a much more appropriate and respectful way to communicate that to customers, particularly when they're dining with a baby. Being made to feel like our baby was an inconvenience was extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary. Cold food, a poorly cooked and chewy steak, and dismissive service would already make for a disappointing meal. Being made to feel unwelcome because we had our baby with us took it to another level. We have been here many times before, but after tonight's experience, we'll seriously reconsider coming back. Very poor service and very disappointing hospitality.

20/08/2026: A very bad experience at Les Arcades tonight, even though we had been there before. From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome. The first waitress sighed when she had to show us to our table. There were three of us, including our young daughter for whom we had also ordered a meal, and we were seated at a table for four. The waiter then made it clear, in a particularly unpleasant manner, that we wouldn't be able to keep the table if the restaurant filled up. A rather astonishing way to welcome customers, especially a family with a young child. Unfortunately, the meal didn't make up for the poor service. I had ordered a rare ribeye steak, and it arrived blue. I sent it back, and when it returned, the meat was extremely tough and rubbery, to the point of being very difficult to eat. I ended up eating my daughter's plate instead. My partner, meanwhile, received his duck cold. A huge disappointment. We had been to Les Arcades before, but this is the first time we felt so unwelcome, and the food was also very disappointing. Unfortunately, we will never return and we certainly will not recommend this establishment to anyone we know.

06/09/2026: Avoid at all costs!! Linguine with clams, some with mud in them 😱 Fritto Misto was overcooked and recooked, completely burnt and inedible! The waiter, despite being older, was awful!

15/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, the lunch menu (dish of the day) was very good (classic but well-prepared) at a very reasonable price for Nice. The atmosphere is calm and the service is courteous, quick, and discreet.

03/08/2026: Pleasant terrace with views over the rooftops and hills of Nice. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly waiters. We enjoyed the cocktails and the dishes on offer, such as the sea bream and the burger.

14/07/2026: Rome, our attentive waiter, a relaxed yet comfortable atmosphere, luxurious Rome served us with class and efficiency, an unforgettable experience. We will become regulars at this rooftop and highly recommend it to families and couples alike.

04/08/2026: We came for dinner as a group of three, and the service definitely needs improvement. The first waitress greeted us and immediately seated us outside without asking our permission. Then she handed us the menus in a very dismissive manner, without even looking at us. Her colleague came to take our order without so much as a greeting; I had to repeat the greeting before saying what I wanted. It's a shame to be welcomed like this because the crepes were delicious, just not very generously filled. For the price, you could get larger and more substantial ones. We won't be back.

03/08/2026: I don't recommend it. The wait was truly insane for topped crepes. We'd been sitting for an hour, our order was taken after 30 minutes or more, our drinks arrived after another 15 minutes, and that's not even mentioning the food. It took Ulysses less time to get back to Ithaca. I don't recommend it!!!!!

13/04/2026: Great place, I highly recommend it. The setting is lovely and has a nice old-fashioned feel. Special mention goes to the absolutely delicious pizza crepes.
