20/08/2026: Amazing place in the heart of Nice, with tables nestled in the alleys. Everything served is traditional, hot, and well-cooked! The service is fast, and you bring your own food to the table. The stockfish was excellent!

16/08/2026: I've known this place since 1983, first under the owners, who were from Marseille like me, and then under the previous owners, Patrick and his wife. I've always loved this place; I often came in the evenings for ice cream and cocktails. I decided to bring my friend Barbara, who wasn't feeling well, here on April 25, 2026, her birthday, to cheer her up. We received a very warm welcome. We ordered cocktails, and Amine, the very friendly owner, kindly offered us a limoncello. We came back in June, and I had a hamburger with homemade fries, which was delicious, plus a Colonel (a local beer). Everything was perfect. We went back later; there was a birthday party in addition to the match. The atmosphere was great. Amine, the owner, had a slice of cake brought to us by the waitress (his niece), who was kind and friendly. It's a relaxing place, always with music, and a lovely terrace near the seafront. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is very good. I'm sorry they no longer have the pizzas, which have been replaced by bruschetta and the mesclun salad with buffalo mozzarella, which was very refreshing. I love this place. P.S.: (Kudos for the very clean restrooms; that's not always the case.) Thanks, Amine, and see you soon.

09/08/2026: After last nights disaster of booking an ‘instagram’ restaurant (that cost about the same for half the food and wine at this establishment) it was such an enjoyable afternoon to have lunch at Les Bains Du Castel. A proper french dining experience with great food, wine, Atmosphere and service without a selfie in sight. The salads were fresh and my wife’s beef casserole was her best meal in the 3 weeks in Europe. It’s down a back laneway, sit inside if it’s hot, (it’s has good AC) and pls visit, eat and drink at this place. pS the staff were so friendly

09/08/2026: It's a shame the ratatouille and fish soup were industrially produced for such a disappointing Niçoise menu; the fish itself was very good.

11/06/2026: I arrived feeling under the weather and was warmly welcomed. The linguine bolognese was amazing 😋 The bartender is super easygoing with English-speaking tourists. It won't be my last time here...

21/08/2026: The mussels were precooked and microwaved, small and not very good. The salad was good. I wouldn't recommend it; it was probably one of the worst places I've eaten at. One star is already too much. The pastries are good.

08/08/2026: We had a great experience in this store! A special shout-out to the sales assistant who helped us: absolutely lovely, very attentive, warm, and a fantastic salesperson. A welcome like that is truly delightful!
