24/07/2026: Arriving in Saint-Paul de Vence, you'll stumble upon Le Saint-Éloi. Everything is €14. The food and atmosphere are friendly and relaxed, with a relaxed, family vibe. The beef and salmon tartares were delicious, and the "sunshine" tart with roasted pear and pineapple was excellent! Served quickly on a shaded terrace. Absolutely fantastic!

21/07/2026: Rude staff from start. Hamburger I received was so raw it was seemed to be on purpose. Blamed it on me for not asking for it to be cooked to a safe temperature. Didn’t take it off bill. Stay away and spend your money elsewhere.

01/07/2026: Excellent welcome. You eat in the vineyards. And it's delicious! Then head to the cellar to buy some wines! What, you're not there yet? (It's highly recommended to book in advance.)

16/03/2026: Massively over-priced, even compared to the many other restaurants in the area. Sure, this was the MIPIM "surcharge", but even expense-account customers have a sense for value for money and when they don't get it, they don't return. This place will survive on fist-time custom, until it doesn't.

04/06/2026: Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the quality of the food. We ordered the schnitzel sandwich and the pulled beef platter, each costing €15. For the schnitzel sandwich: The schnitzel was a bit dry, and so was the challah bread, so overall it was rather heavy and lacked moisture and sauce. 😕 For the pulled beef platter: They really need to improve the presentation. I was brought a small plate with the pulled beef covered in melted cheese on one side, and iceberg lettuce with three pickle slices dumped on the other… I didn't take a picture, but frankly, for €15, it looked very sloppy. The pulled beef was very good nonetheless, but the salad was completely uninteresting. The service was okay. But overall, the lack of taste and the excessively high price mean we won't be back…

24/05/2026: The sandwich was quite good and generous. The flavors were fairly well-defined. The €7 seasonal salad is unnecessary. I don't understand why they suggest leaving a tip when they're so unpleasant; they should have just taken the payment directly. Finally, the tone of the sign in the restroom is presumptuous and unpleasant. The reference to Gare du Nord is immature and not at all funny. See attached image.

20/07/2026: Absolutely loved dining here during our holidays. The food, service and atmosphere were all exceptional. We especially loved the evenings where there was live music on. Could not recommend more highly. Can't wait to return!

20/06/2026: Dinner before the show at Nikaia. Impeccable, very good, and incredible desserts. We'll definitely be back. P.S.: Note that they close at 7:30 pm even on show days, so plan your dinner in advance!

17/06/2026: Very decent restaurant. Prices are a bit high for the neighborhood. Service was a little slow. The staff was quite pleasant.

07/07/2026: A seafood restaurant ideally located in Cros de Cagnes for several decades. It's a family business. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you, with a professional team dedicated to your comfort. The dishes are fresh, generous, and delicious. I highly recommend it for events like wedding anniversaries, for example, as the tables are elegantly set and the food is exquisite. But seafood lovers of all kinds will be equally delighted.

07/07/2026: Old school French Superiority Complex. 8 days into an amazing tour of France - meeting wonderful people in Paris, Provins and Marseilles we were met by “servers” that had an aire of superiority. The manager was called when my French wasn’t effective and she made little effort to communicate other than single word answers. Nobody asked us if we were satisfied and you could feel that they were starting to hate us as much as we did them to be honest. The seafood platter was tasteless and we asked for the bill. “Surprisingly” (or perhaps not) they had added a $13Euro Aperol Spritz that my 15 year old daughter couldn’t have ordered. All she had was a sprite. I confronted them with the error - she rudely corrected the bill without apologizing so I paid with $0 tip (and as a former server I always tip well!) I love France and its attention to detail - but it has to rid itself of these last remaining old school barnacles of superiority. After I left I wondered what made the entire place seem so cold - and it hit me - I didn’t hear any laughter across the entire restaurant! Just a bunch of unhappy people that feel better than others. Enjoy.

26/10/2025: For my last visit, I was able to enjoy a final meal to celebrate my birthday. Dominique and the whole team were there to create a wonderful atmosphere. We will miss your warm welcome and good humor. Thank you for everything and all the best for the future.

07/07/2026: Bravo! Finally, a really good restaurant with excellent, quick, and pleasant service. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The seafood and fish salad was truly delicious. My only slight disappointment was the temperature of the white wine, which could have been served chilled. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. See you soon!

06/07/2026: The food wasn't good at all; the pasta with tomato sauce and basil was almost dry and tasteless. The fritzo misto consisted of fried fish and just a few squid that looked rubbery and day-old. The service was listless and indifferent. We ordered two Cokes and they served them at room temperature. They said they couldn't find anything better. McDonald's is much, much better in comparison.

27/05/2026: We had a fantastic stay in mid-May at this family-run hotel! Ask for a room with a panoramic view: seeing that green and blue before you, as if there were no buildings in the area, is magical. The property is, in my opinion, sublime. And if a noisy neighbor prevents you from fully enjoying the place, the owner will find a solution! All the best to everyone.

19/05/2026: The photos don't do it justice. Everything reeked of cigarette smoke. I can't imagine the living conditions of the people who stay here and give it an 8.
