25/04/2026: I strongly advise against staying at this Campanile hotel in Nice.
We stayed there for one night last week, in two rooms for a total of six people.
Both rooms were extremely clean (dust, hair, stains, etc.). As for the service, both at reception and in the restaurant, the staff were unfriendly, even downright unpleasant.
The receptionist also gave us incorrect information, which wasted our valuable time.
The breakfast buffet was very limited and inadequate, especially compared to other hotels in the same chain, which is quite disappointing given the price.
Faced with this accumulation of negative points, we even decided not to return for the night we had booked for our return trip, even though it meant losing the money we had already spent, which we wouldn't be reimbursed for.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. We will not be returning.

Not to be missed
01/03/2026: Outrageous!! We waited 45 minutes for the menu, and even longer for our food. The table next to us, with seven people, only received three courses. Another table waited two hours.
At the end, we were told it was the chef's first day.
I'm willing to be understanding, but it would have been appropriate to inform us of the ongoing and known problems upon our arrival, rather than continuing to accept customers and making matters worse.

08/04/2026: Great place right across from the sea. Had drinks and appetizers so I can't speak for the food but I'm sure it's good cuz the appetizers are. Service is great, Jolie took care of us. She is an asset here as she is very adept at properly interacting with people.

30/10/2025: Stopped in while waiting for bus to Eze - was the closest cafe to Vauban Station. Kind lady served us 2 cappuccino. Didn't eat, but menu looked good 😋.

The so-called food and beverage manager is appalling and utterly useless. Sir, change careers: you're a disgrace, arrogant, and a liability in this field.
And your manager… no comment.
The Ibis next door is cheaper and better.
14/01/2026: We had a wonderful 3-night stay at La Bastide de Mougins over Christmas. A huge thank you to the manager, staff, and chef for their warm welcome and professionalism. The place is magical, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the cuisine is inventive, generous, and delicious. We look forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the lovely swimming pool!

25/03/2026: As a regular, I can only praise this place; everything is perfect. The food, the service, the staff, and the atmosphere are all very pleasant for a great evening. The gray-haired waiter is always efficient and very funny; we always have a good time.
I am very surprised by Mr. Galdo François's comment, who seems dissatisfied with most of the places he frequents.
25/03/2026: Perfect, you can go without any problem. The welcome was very friendly; the "graying" waiter in the evening was very pleasant and funny, and the cooks were excellent. Great evening!

03/04/2026: The atmosphere is nice, you can eat on the terrace with a view. The staff is friendly enough. The food leaves much to be desired... the quiche was burnt, and the lasagna tasted like a frozen one.

There were four of us, and we ordered mussels marinière.
They were tasteless and rather dry; probably because they didn't use white wine during cooking.
I strongly advise against this dish.
We reported this directly to the waiter, and we weren't the only ones; a couple right behind us also mentioned it.
This dish should be removed from the menu if you don't know how to make even a basic mussel marinière.
I'm perplexed by the rest of the menu.

01/04/2026: Clean bakery and pastry shop, smiling and friendly staff, reasonable prices. I had dark chocolate fritters (good) and milk chocolate fritters (not great), but to each their own.

It's because of people like her that businesses are dying in Nice, and one wonders why tourists aren't spending. What a waste!

A very unpleasant experience. We enter only to have a coffee to go there, but we don't even cross the door, but we listen to our eyes with very little activity and, if we don't want to be safe, we don't have to worry about our trips to the beach when the bath is occupied.
The explanation in French, with total education, that we do not want to use the bath, that we simply want to know if we have enough coffee to learn. However, we have gritted our minds, insisting that we go to the beach to bus a bath, without escuchar absolutely nothing that we say.
Its activity completely lacks lugar, training and aggression. Before this, I say that your behavior will be unacceptable and we will decide to go ahead without buying anything.
Is a pena encounter with a professional job, especially in a tourist location where you hope for a minimum of education and respect for your clients. Desde luego, ne volveremos.

His attitude was completely inappropriate, rude, and aggressive. So I told him that his behavior was unacceptable, and we left without buying anything.
It's really a shame to receive such a welcome, especially in a tourist area where you expect a minimum of respect for customers. We won't be back.

Esperienza molto spiacevole. If you only enter a coffee in the gym and, you will enter it, it will be signed with a little care and attention, you will not be greeted, you will be prompted with the message and you will be in the bag during the occupancy.
Gli ho spiegato en inglese, con calma e rispetto, che non volevo usare il bagno, ma simplemente sapere se faceva caffè da sporto. However, I continue to speak the same thing, insist on perching and listen to a bag, know at least what the words say.

If you have a small price for a generous treatment, you should pay in a tourist location if you expect a minimum risk for your customers. No torneremo.
