31/08/2024: A regular visitor for over 20 years, this beach is my haven of peace. I come there to recharge my batteries and enjoy a relaxing day. I love this beach, their pan bagna and the simplicity of the place. Very very reasonable prices, family welcome and zen atmosphere. Thanks to Christine and her dad for making this place a simple and friendly island. An unconditional fan. Thanks to the whole team 🙏❤️

24/08/2024: On vacation in the South, we spent several days at the Plage des Sports, where we had reserved mattresses. We also had lunch at the restaurant. Despite a frantic race and a rush, the waiters always served us quickly. The employees are always smiling and kind. The servers are joking and friendly. La Plage des Sports creates a real family atmosphere and takes care of its regular customers. The lifeguard is also very nice and fun. Regarding the food, it is good and offers good value for money. However, we were a little disappointed with the scallop salad. The fish and beef tartars are excellent. The fish are very well cooked and the daily specials are varied. As for the mattresses, they are starting to age, but remain comfortable. In addition, this beach employs beach attendants who are very attentive and caring. With their waterside meals and drinks, the day at the beach is very pleasant. The only negative point we noticed is inside. The facilities are starting to age, especially the toilets and shower.

29/07/2024: Food was great, service was just okay. The restaurant was very hot as the grill is right in the middle and it was a very hot evening.

23/07/2024: I wanted a steak. This restaurant was recommended. I turned up and realised I had been before a few years ago and could not recall a good experience. In that respect I was not let down. I got the usual "oh just you" greeting and was sat inside next to the bar, which seemed rather warm. (The table was wiped clean after I sat down.) The fries (tired and not very nice) arrived at least five minutes before the entrecote (average). The most salient comment I can offer is that the waitresses can't do eye contact (and are mostly sour-faced). Not being able to engage with customers is a basic failing. Find another job. So it's pretty hard to get served. I would have probably had another glass of wine and a dessert if I hadn't felt I was imposing. That's about 25% more revenue. What other business could you boost sales by 25% just with a smile? The person who "runs" this place needs to think about that. I won't be going again to find out if they change things.

29/12/2025: We got married at Hotel Cantemerle, and the hotel was an excellent and memorable venue for our wedding. Cantemerle is a calm and well-maintained hotel, beautifully located just outside Vence in peaceful surroundings. The facilities are of a high standard, from the very charming pool-side restaurant to the gardens, spa and wellness area. The management and staff were attentive and service-minded without being intrusive. The food and wine were of high quality, and both we and our guests were consistently impressed by the overall standard and level of service. Cantemerle is a hotel in a higher price range, but the cost reflects the quality of the facilities, the service, and the overall experience. We will be returning and can recommend Hotel Cantemerle to anyone looking for a high-quality wedding venue or a relaxing stay in Provence.

17/11/2025: A wonderful discovery, a real surprise! I had the chance to experience both the spa and the restaurant. I absolutely loved the spa; it was well-designed, efficient, and clean, with incredible massage therapists who truly listened to my body's needs. As for the restaurant, its location on the grounds is very pleasant, and the tables facing the pool in the sunshine were more than comfortable. The homemade foie gras was excellent, though I was a little disappointed with the pasta with anchovies—there weren't enough anchovies, and it was more of an anchovy oil and parsley sauce. Overall, a great experience for this establishment, which offers a delightful change of scenery and a welcome break from a busy daily routine.

12/09/2024: Heerlijke plek voor een stranddag, een heerlijke salade, lekkere patat en vooral heel vriendelijk personeel. Spreken Engels en je kunt bij indigo dichtbij en betaalbaar parkeren.

07/09/2024: Nice spot on the beach but the food was disappointing. You would have thought that a restaurant in Nice could do a Salad Nicoise but their was a basic mixed salad with Tuna. No anchovies, a few tiny olives not much egg. Chicken oriental came with very little sauce and chicken was dry. Cocktails disappointing also.

01/09/2024: Quality, excellent value for money. Good location, terrace from July to August only on the side of the restaurant. OTHERWISE a perm on the front; in the sun or in the shade depending on the season, very appreciable. Served quickly "if not too long" to eat. Pleasant setting. Personally I'm going back soon.

15/01/2024: The ingredients used at the base are of low quality. The products are made on an assembly line in a factory, nothing artisanal. In addition, the salads, tomatoes, chicken in the sandwiches are expired, the cream is spoiled in the tartlets, the fresh fruit on top is moldy. Victim of embezzlement by this merchant through the TOO GOOD TO GO application and via the charitable associations which distribute expired products to the population, I expressed my dissatisfaction. The manager Venturi Enzo, also the co-owner with his father of Ruhlinvest, fools people. It benefits from the valuation of its in-kind donations of 60% of their value excluding tax against the certificate provided by the associations. In addition, part of the goods is given to individuals like Joly Stephanie who sell them to their neighbors and acquaintances. Another point is that its goods are used to feed the Ukrainians pleading war. And finally hygiene which is terribly lacking in its bakeries: saleswoman touches the food products with dirty hands, the products on the floor... In other reviews the cockroaches and pigeons on the terrace... the hair in the sandwiches... The saleswoman doesn't cover her hair... Impossible to argue with this man, he gets angry and thinks he can do anything. More info on you tube. It is enough to read the response of this malicious man, which is dominated by the imperative tone, to understand that he unfortunately respects no one. Would he ever know how to say “thank you”, “please”? Only the truth hurts. Please accept the negative reviews sir.

15/12/2023: A good, smiling saleswoman (Mégane) who is pleasant and professional! THANKS. Passing through Nice if I come back one day I will come back.

13/02/2026: The room was lovely, so we had to chase down coffee pods. There was no proper bar only in the restaurant which is open at certain points of the year. There was no menu in the room to order room service or drink. There was also no number for Reception on the phone. Great location short walk into Valbonne. We didn’t use the Spa but it looked fantastic and it had great reviews.

08/09/2024: Nice looking place. Lots of smiles as we entered. It is small so booking is a good idea. There was only one waitress so service was slow. She missed a trick by not giving us menus to peruse while we waited. Finally we went and found the menus and wine list , and took them for the whole table. The menu is small so we expect we each dish to be great. It was OK but not special. Potatoes were bitter and unpleasant but no apology given. Coffee was disappointing. Cappuccino not available as they didn't know how to prepare it. £214 for 6 people (2 courses) for an ok meal. Somehow it didn't meet expectations.

02/09/2024: Après un accueil très chaleureux d'Anne, nous avons passé une belle soirée dans ce petit resto avec vue sur les Baous. Pauline nous a concocté un Aperol parfaitement dosé. Notre plat : Filets de Bar, fenouil et lamelles de courgettes : délicieux. Et le tiramisu " maison " léger et goûteux. Tout était réuni pour satisfaire vos papilles.

03/09/2024: Déjeuner à la pinède Accueil formidable. décoration superbe et surtout un poisson ( bar ) parfaitement cuit une purée (escoffier) fondante.. des légumes locaux rôtis.. tout était délicieux des apéritifs au dessert (sablé au citron) un merveilleux moment et une très belle surprise ! Je recommande vivement

25/08/2024: Très belle vue mais reste tout de même extrêmement chère pour ce que c’est. À part une ou deux personnes le reste de l’équipe n’était pas des plus accueillants. Prix des plats (45 le plus bas) et l’accompagnement n’est même pas compris dans le prix ! Un peu aberrant quand on voit le prix des plats… Comptez 10 euros par tête en plus pour accompagnement. Si non, restaurant pas mal dans l’ensemble mais d’autres lieux beaucoup moins chère et tout aussi jolie !
