22/08/2026: The service and atmosphere were good. However, there are some issues with the food. The steak tartare was described as hand-chopped, which it wasn't; the meat was stringy and compact. We pointed this out at the register, and the cashier's response was, "You don't know what hand-chopped tartare is." For a customer, that's unacceptable. As for dessert, we're still looking for the pineapple in the pineapple carpaccio. There are four or five tiny slices, barely a millimeter thick. For €9, that's very meager. Aside from that, the rest was good.

12/06/2026: It's a charmingly old-fashioned hotel, but you feel very comfortable there. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. We stayed for five days on a half-board basis. The breakfasts are generous. As for dinner... Chef Didier spoiled us! Yes, he's a chef! Healthy, locally sourced ingredients, cooked with artistry. Go there; you won't be disappointed. The owner and his staff are welcoming and warm.

08/06/2026: The hotel has well-appointed rooms with comfortable beds, as well as a pleasant little pool for relaxing. The staff is friendly. The only downside is that the curtains aren't blackout enough for our liking. We requested a room facing the hotel entrance because the sun rises on the other side and we could hear a lot of road noise (the windows could be improved), and our request was accepted by the friendly receptionist.

21/12/2025: A really great way to do a trip back in time

17/11/2025: Medieval cuisine is certainly different from what we're used to eating today. Some dishes might, at first glance, seem a little bland, or at least not the kind of thing that would immediately make our mouths water, because our 21st-century palates are accustomed to tastes that are too sweet, too fatty, or too salty (clearly not the best for our health!). However, the kitchen team rose to this challenge brilliantly: each dish was perfectly seasoned, fragrant, and truly delicious. This made the culinary experience even more successful. The experience is further enhanced by the entertainment offered throughout the meal, as well as by the choice of costumes at the beginning, which immediately immerses us in the medieval atmosphere. We also greatly appreciated the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant, with only one seating at lunchtime: no constant coming and going, allowing us to fully enjoy the moment. A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend! Until next time!

03/06/2026: Passing through for a business trip for one night. From the outside, the hotel doesn't look like much. Once you step inside, everything changes. Refined cuisine, efficient service. Pleasant, clean, bright, and quiet room. I'm adding it to my list of recommended places. You can stay here without hesitation.

31/07/2026: The paella of the day was really disappointing; the rice was overcooked, and the chicken and shrimp were undercooked. It's a shame, because the service and welcome were excellent, but the paella was not.

08/09/2026: We ate lunch at the restaurant today. We had the set menu for €26, which included a starter, main course, and dessert, and it was truly worthy of a very good restaurant. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Kudos to the chef! The servers were equally excellent, very friendly staff. A truly excellent place.

24/08/2026: The boulangerie is located in a former gas station building. Fantastically designed. Excellent quality products at reasonable prices. Very good coffee. There's even a baguette machine! I highly recommend it.
