23/12/2025: If I could give zero stars, this would be it. A restaurant I've frequented for a long time, and which until now has been impeccable… but my last experience was extremely disappointing! I had booked a meal for 20 people for an event two months in advance with the waiter. (Invitations ordered and sent) The owner met with me to discuss the reservation… not a very warm welcome… a very arrogant person… however, I went ahead with it… Two weeks ago, like many others, I learned that the restaurant was closing its doors but continuing to offer service for professional and private events. (My event wasn't affected per se.) However, I sent an email asking if my reservation was still valid and if the conditions remained the same… no response… I went to the restaurant, the waiter passed the message on to the owner, who asked me… I'm still waiting for a call back… So I booked my event elsewhere! The day before yesterday, a caterer called me back saying they were taking over the reservations… I had the pleasure of telling him I wasn't going to proceed and wished him the best of luck working with an establishment like that! An arrogant boss who manages his reservations terribly, doesn't bother to call his clients back, and I think he doesn't care about losing a table of 20 people… he probably doesn't care about that… In any case, he's off to a great start with his new venture! Avoid at all costs, because they've lost a lot of customers! No wonder the employees are coming and going like they do every day of the week…

The food is amazing, we come from Indonesia and having this local food fantastic: Cod Fish (, Beef Soup and Chicken with local material so good. We recommended to all of you, the local food hunter 😍 Lisieux so amazing and the restaurant must try

08/01/2026: Reservation for 9 PM on December 31, 2025. Aperitif served at 10:15 PM with the verrine (small glass of wine) spilled on my husband. The foie gras was very good. The duck breast was cooked pink as requested. It was served rare, sent back to the kitchen, and returned overcooked—what a waste! The mashed potatoes were undercooked, and I had to search for the truffles. The wine sauce was very good. No music, no atmosphere. The waiter had his fly open all evening. His jeans were below his buttocks. He didn't know which tables were where. Very disappointed considering the price. The service was extremely slow—3.5 hours. A memorable New Year's Eve. A restaurant to avoid.

28/10/2025: This restaurant has the advantage of being more affordable than those on the seafront. The owner is very kind and helpful. However, the food is rather bland: the burger is smothered in processed sauce, and the Caesar salad is swimming in dressing. You can also hear arguments coming from the kitchen…

05/03/2026: Huge disappointment for not having read the latest reviews before settling in. Tourist trap, prices far too high for what you get. The galettes tasted burnt, the filling was practically nonexistent and very bland. A bowl of salad (3 leaves) was an extra €4.50…outrageous. Not to mention the price of the drinks, a rip-off. Definitely not recommended.

01/03/2026: A very family-friendly atmosphere in the unique setting of Honfleur's Old Port: a consistently warm welcome, a very smiley owner who takes excellent care of all his customers. The food is superb: fresh produce, the scallops practically straight from the boat, delicious, but above all, try the seafood stew with rock crab sauce, garnished with mussels, shrimp, various fish, and langoustines. 12/12/2025: Definitely not a place to revisit. Food was poor, room was not warm and the service distinctly anti-English. Hugely overpriced too. 2 stars for food because the cheese starter was tasty (although not hot enough) €86 paid for 2 courses for 2 people plus calvados and Small wine 🙁

02/01/2026: Delicious food, amazing desserts. Friendly, attentive service and a lovely team! The ambiance is okay. We had a great live band playing in the evening. All in all, a wonderful evening. Insider tip: Gourmet Cafe for dessert—a small selection of desserts on a plate with coffee ;) Perfect!!

06/11/2025: Having come from the Parisian suburbs and not finding a reasonably priced restaurant in Trouville-sur-Mer, I had the pleasure of searching online and ended up eating at "Le Pur Sang" in Deauville. And I can tell you, my wife and I were not disappointed. A "café-restaurant," a rare find these days, with good, well-presented traditional cuisine (nothing more, nothing less), a generous selection of starters, charcuterie, crudités, homemade desserts, and even a carafe of simple but good Côtes du Rhône wine. It had a regular clientele, which confirmed my initial impression. All this for €64 from aperitif to dessert—I can't say for the coffee, though, because the owner treated us. You can go there without hesitation; you won't be disappointed. That's coming from a former restaurateur [after 35 years in the business].
