26/06/2026: What a wonderful night. The food was fabulous and the wine was divine. The service was absolutely outstanding. The owner was gracious in allowing me to practice my very basic French language without showing any sign of impatience. To top it off there was a jazz singer and her accompaniment who was superb and rounded out the night. It was truly a fantastic night and will be something we will remember forever.

14/06/2026: A pleasant restaurant with a refined atmosphere and decor. However, our experience was mixed in several respects. We arrived at 7:15 pm for a 7:30 pm reservation, but were asked to return in 15 minutes as the setup wasn't complete. In an establishment of this caliber, I would have appreciated being offered at least an aperitif on the terrace or in a designated area while we waited, rather than being asked to leave. We ended up having a drink elsewhere, which ultimately meant we returned 10 minutes late. I do want to highlight one positive point: the staff was understanding and accommodating regarding seating, agreeing to move us to a different table to avoid the upstairs area, as my father had a knee problem. On the other hand, we were very disappointed with the main course: a €120 ribeye steak ordered rare arrived somewhere between medium and overcooked. At this price point and in this type of establishment, it's simply unacceptable. In short: a pleasant setting and generally friendly service, but important details, particularly the initial welcome and the cooking of a premium cut of meat, deserve to be addressed.

21/07/2026: A wonderful welcome, pleasant atmosphere, and fast service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was a huge disappointment not being able to finish my Norman galette because it was so delicious! Go for it without hesitation! 😁 A nice bonus was the lovely view of the cathedral.

08/06/2026: I am sincerely disappointed by the manager's attitude. Having bought a gift certificate for two all-inclusive meals at Christmas, my in-laws had a really hard time getting a table because every time they were told it wasn't possible, that it was always full, and the situation changed every time they mentioned it was a gift certificate. I called the same day as them to make a reservation, and five minutes before, they were told no room, sorry. I called, didn't mention it was a gift certificate, and suddenly I got a table. So I find this deplorable because it's money that's been taken, so this reaction is appalling. I don't understand why they sell gift certificates only to react like this afterward. Honestly, I won't be repeating the experience; there are other, much more welcoming places in the area.

18/07/2026: A truly excellent discovery! It deserved a review. Everything is there for a wonderful experience. The dishes are homemade with fresh ingredients, and you can taste it from the very first bite. The meats are excellent, perfectly cooked, and the sauces are simply delicious. The desserts are also a real treat and provide a perfect ending to the meal. The atmosphere is very calm and pleasant, with soft background music that creates a warm and relaxing ambiance. The wine list is varied and offers a very good selection to complement the dishes. The service is impeccable: the staff is welcoming, smiling, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality cuisine, prepared with care and authenticity. A place you'll want to return to!

01/08/2026: Wonderful experience at Le Jardin! The service was very friendly and fast. The food was incredibly tasty and everything was freshly prepared. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also cozy and relaxed. Highly recommended, I would love to come back here again!

25/07/2026: Restaurant supposed to open on Thursdays at 7 PM. We waited 25 minutes in front of the door without any of the three servers who looked at us reacting. So we left; the restaurant still wasn't open. Clearly, they don't need customers, and politeness and service seem to be of no importance to them, so: don't go there! ---- So, I'm responding to the owner's reply: it's magic! The restaurant doesn't open on time, and you're the lucky one! I wish you a long career as a business owner who clearly doesn't know the meaning of politeness. And we, dear customers, don't be fooled by opening hours! Go in when it's open! Otherwise, turn around or take the bus!

18/07/2026: A friendly welcome and an informal atmosphere. French, English, and Spanish are spoken. The food is really delicious! No extra sauces needed. The meat (Argentinian steak) melts in your mouth. Highly recommended!

25/07/2026: A wonderful end to our holiday! We enjoyed the extensive 6-course menu: every dish was refined, flavorful, and prepared with care. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, making you feel welcome immediately. We were with our two young daughters, and they were catered for as well. They could choose a modified 3-course children's menu with smaller portions, allowing them to enjoy the meal alongside us in a gastronomic way. We really considered that a major plus. Additionally, excellent consideration was given to the fact that one of our daughters is gluten-free. This gave us a lot of confidence and ensured we could enjoy ourselves without any worries. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a culinary experience in a warm, welcoming atmosphere!

The sirloin steak gratin—everything is homemade, you can easily tell, and the products are top-quality and cooked to perfection! Even their coffee... a long black... the real deal, not water! 31/07/2026: A little disappointed by my meal today: the pork lacked tenderness (was it cooked too quickly? Was it the choice of meat?) and the wines by the glass weren't great (the Loire Sauvignon Blanc was bland, and the Saint-Émilion was too alcoholic). But I'll be back... (the restaurant offers delicious flavors, a comfortable dining room, and prices that reflect the quality).

14/06/2026: There were four adults and two children in our party. We were served very quickly, each ordering a different dish: meat, fish, mussels, fresh pasta, and also pizza. Everything was handled expertly, and above all, it was absolutely delicious! We've rarely seen a pizza with such high-quality cheese! As for the scallop pasta, it was practically scallops with pasta! I've rarely been served such generous portions! In an era where small portions disappoint at a rising price, we were pleasantly surprised that here, generosity reigns supreme. Very reasonable prices. Thank you again, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! 🌺

We have absolutely no regrets, as your warm welcome, service, delicious food, and kindness made us forget we didn't have a sea view.

08/07/2026: I hadn't been back for several years because it wasn't in my area. What a great find! I've been twice in a very short period. The food is very good, but perhaps they could use some vegetables as a side dish at lunchtime. Otherwise, the service and the meal were perfect! I highly recommend it!
