11/08/2026: We came for lunch on August 8th for the first time. The staff were welcoming and the service impeccable. The dining room is lovely, with a terrace overlooking the old courthouse square. They offer a great set lunch menu for €25 (starter/main/dessert). The dishes were tasty and beautifully presented. It's clearly advisable to book ahead. A great place to eat in Pont-l'Évêque.

11/08/2026: Excellent value for money (5 out of 5). Impeccable service with a smile and professionalism. Fish soup served hot with melted cheese fillets. Tender, unlimited beef served rare as ordered. Meltingly tender Peach Melba to finish the meal. The bottle of Cheverny white wine was served at the perfect temperature.

29/09/2026: Amazing food. I had the €36 set menu. I doubt the same quality, from the ingredients to the skill in preparation could be found at less than double the price outside France. Really exceptional.

02/07/2026: From the moment we came in, we could feel welcomed. Staff was super friendly and respectful. We had the lobster menu. From the beginning to the end, it was pure magic. I felt as if I was in a chef cooking contest, where every dish was meant to impress. The presentation, the texture, taste, everything was amazing. Thank you!

12/09/2026: Great find in Bayeux! We hadn’t booked but managed to get an outside table. Our New Zealand waiter was excellent, friendly and attentive. The tenderloin steak with peppercorn sauce and potato patty was absolutely superb, I’m salivating thinking about it! The chicken supreme was also excellent, and the carafe of Merlot was very good and reasonably priced. Book ahead if you can.

12/09/2026: An exceptional brunch with impeccable service! I had the pleasure of discovering La Belle Époque's Sunday brunch, and I can say without hesitation that it's one of the best brunches I've ever experienced. The setting is sumptuous, refined, and bright, perfect for a delicious and convivial experience. The buffet is of exceptional quality: fresh produce, a magnificent selection of seafood, delicious hot dishes (special mention for the truffle spaghetti and the beef bourguignon!), and a dazzling array of desserts, each more tempting than the last. Every dish is carefully prepared and elegantly presented. But what truly stood out about this experience was the excellence of the service. All the staff were charming, attentive, and efficient. Empty plates were systematically replenished until the very last minute—a level of attention to detail I've never seen anywhere else! And to top it all off, just as we were about to leave, a lovely waitress called out to us kindly: "Why leave without having tea or coffee?" In an instant, she served us a hot drink with remarkable speed and kindness. This level of service, combined with the quality of the food, makes this brunch an unforgettable experience. Admittedly, the price (€95) is significant, but it is more than justified by the quality of the experience. A must-try in Deauville that I wholeheartedly recommend!

04/10/2026: The welcome and staff were friendly and efficient, especially considering the estimated wait time. The sushi was good; we had crispy honey and salmon, and we highly recommend it. The cocktails and the afternoon tea are also worth trying.

04/10/2026: We discovered this restaurant thanks to the reviews, and we weren't disappointed. The homemade coleslaw and soup are a nice change and absolutely delicious! The sushi is fantastic, and the friendly staff is a real bonus. Our new go-to spot for sushi in Caen!

09/09/2026: The service was welcoming and friendly, but the place is extremely expensive for the average quality. At these prices, it's reasonable to expect more refined dishes. The €28 burger (I've never seen such an expensive burger, even in major cities, and with truffle toppings!) is served with a hard, dry bun, not at all brioche-like. The patty is half pork, half beef, and poorly seasoned. At this price, I would have expected 100% good-quality beef with the option to choose how the meat is cooked. The burger sauce is very sweet and there's far too much of it. The fries are passable but could be improved by double-frying them and paying more attention to ensuring they're soft inside and crispy outside. Also, at this price, I expect a restaurant to serve fries made from potatoes with the skins off. They could do better.

12/06/2026: Truly wonderful French cuisine. With a menu featuring exactly the right combinations. And well-priced. The Entrecote is amazing. My wife loves fish and ordered the Gambas and oysters. Super fresh and great quality. The desserts offered just the right variety. Highly recommended. Do make a reservation for the evening. Very busy. Nice terrace right in the center.

16/09/2026: From the welcome to the food, everything was perfect 🙂 We stumbled upon this place by chance, and we would have been wrong to continue our journey because this restaurant is a gem. The food is made with love, it's generous, delicious, and fresh, with attention to flavor and detail, even the green salad (which many people usually leave on the side of their plate because it's bland) was perfectly seasoned, with an assortment of olives, pomegranate seeds, and seasonal vegetables. It's a wonderful discovery. So if you're ever in the area, don't hesitate, it's a fantastic place.

11/09/2026: Discovered during our holiday travels, we found a very good restaurant. Very friendly, and what's more, they don't offer fries on the menu, a rare find that proves they make a real effort to offer culinary variety. Well done to everyone involved! Excellent value for money. Don't hesitate to stop by!
