01/02/2026: Excellent! The relaxed atmosphere with background music is very pleasant, and the service is very professional and friendly. We wanted burgers, and we loved them. The bread is homemade, the meat is from a butcher, and the sauces complement everything perfectly. The homemade fries are very good, and the Snickers-style tartlet dessert is delicious.

20/01/2026: During a stay in Honfleur, we discovered this wonderful place. The owner is very professional and welcoming. The burgers are original, delicious, and satisfying. We left with full stomachs and smiles on our faces!

15/03/2026: Café Le Régent is a really great place to eat. The coffee is very good, and they also have other sweet treats. It's perfect for relaxing on the terrace, which is quite large and offers a beautiful view of the church in Caen.

06/03/2026: The inn offers a gourmet menu that changes seasonally from the chef's creations. The location is peaceful, the building is like a game of Tetris; take a stroll outside to admire the architecture and the slope of the hillside. Then, enjoy the walk opposite. It's a kind of little paradise on earth, all within the Caen ring road. For locals who know the area, or for visitors who have received good advice, the place is very cool and very popular on hot days. If you have a paddleboard or kayak, you can easily paddle from here to the Caen racecourse. Be aware that the return trip will be against the current; I recommend heading towards Louvigny and letting the current carry you back to your starting point.

The inventive cuisine is based first and foremost on the selection of high-quality local products. Furthermore, both in the dining room and in the kitchen, you can feel the passion for the craft. The service is attentive yet elegant, professional yet friendly. The dishes are meticulously prepared and beautifully presented, where flavors blend harmoniously and textures complement each other perfectly. There's also a touch of daring, as evidenced by the use of peanuts in unexpected dishes. From slow-cooked cod to pink duck and the perfectly cooked egg, the cooking is precise and meets the guests' expectations. Among my many favorites: the scallop velouté and the chocolate tuile dessert. Thank you, Chef, and thank you to the entire restaurant team for these delightful moments.

02/04/2026: A very pleasant experience at this restaurant in the center of Honfleur. The four-course menu was well executed with lovely flavors. The pigeon was delicious. The chocolate dessert was excellent. The wines by the glass were perfect. The service was warm and welcoming. For those with a hearty appetite, the only slight drawback was the small portion sizes.

From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome, and I was delighted to see Stéphane Carbone make my son his VIP guest for the day. It was an exceptional gesture, especially considering my son was just a little boy about to experience fine cuisine. There was so much emotion, so much attention, so much delicacy, and a genuine passion for sharing his taste for excellence, as he sat watching the kitchen brigade at work. Beyond simply being in an exceptional restaurant, we met a chef with a big heart and boundless kindness. A truly remarkable man who undoubtedly made this moment unforgettable, as my son clearly understood the special attention he received. I highly recommend experiencing this exceptional restaurant, knowing that its host is a man of true human values.
