06/09/2024: Strange but sweet stopover in the heart of Burgundy. I highly recommend for the welcome and kindness of the staff. A delicate cuisine although a little frugal. “There is sunshine in France, and the rest doesn’t matter” Stone and Charden sang to us, that’s right. A nice stopover on the road to the sun.😘😋

29/06/2024: We had a good time with friends but disappointed with the 3 course menu (mystery) microscopic quantity with a price that does not correspond to the relatively ordinary dishes.. Sorry but going to restaurants very often I have better local addresses.

01/08/2024: We had dinner with the family at this restaurant during our road trip in Europe. We cannot speak a single word of French but the staff was very welcoming and got us to practice to order in the local language (but in a very friendly way). The food was great (we tried hamburger, chicken and steak fries) and we had a lovely Bourgogne from the neighborhood. And without a doubt, it was the best fries I ever had 😅. Dessert was awesome as well (crème brûlée and chocolate fondant).

26/09/2024: It's a great restaraunt with traditional dishes from Burgundy as well as other tasty dishes. The location is very cozy and the employees are very friendly! I have been here twice at the same day because I wanted to try some additional dishes. I especially loved the "Œufs en meurette", "Jambon persillé maison", "Joue de bœuf". And as a dessert, try "Délice de Chanoine poire pochée"!

21/05/2024: If, like me, you were in Beaune for wine tastings and visits to producers, it is a great location. Walking distance to everything and restaurants everywhere nearby and catering is available at the hotel. Newly renovated and fresh, as well as a very lovely and familiar welcome. Happy to help and always greeted with a smile. The rooms were good and the beds relatively hard and firm, which I appreciate. Very good accommodation, I will book again!

01/05/2024: We celebrated our civil partnership on April 20 at Clem's cellar. They had prepared a great menu for us. Our whole family enjoyed the meal once it was delicious homemade gas and deliciously tender meat like butter, not to mention the dessert which was excellent. A menu at a fair price with dishes worthy of a three star Thanks to the whole team Go take a look you won't be disappointed

01/10/2024: We visited this hotel and restaurant last week with my partners mum and dad for 2 nights whilst viewing a property to buy in France. We booked the restaurant for an evening meal after our 11 hour drive. The staff appeared to be impatient and mainly rude as we couldn’t speak French. Which I do understand is our fault! However there was no way of them telling us what the food was and then when it did come it was very overpriced and below average food. They cleared up and basically turned everything off when we were practically still eating. The staff were just waiting around with their coats on wanting to get out as soon as possible. The next night we gave the evening meal a miss but went in at 8:45pm to the bar for a drink before bed. We asked if we could sit down. But the tables were already laid for breakfast so we were basically told to just stand in the doorway by the bar with our coats on and drink a very over priced drink. I was so furious that at this point we had already paid over £900 euros for the rooms and the initial evening meal to be told we could not sit down… breakfast was very basic with hardly nothing left after 1 hour of it opening. I would not return - if we do buy the local property - I will not be sending any family or friends here.

08/08/2024: I went to lunch with my wife, we ate a very fresh seafood platter. The waitress, GIGI, is very friendly and smiling as is her boss. Thank you to the whole team for this great time!

25/09/2024: Welcome and pleasant service. Food and pizza too, it's the restaurant we frequent most since we arrived at Nuits almost 5 years ago... The terrace is very pleasant when the weather permits. Good value for money.

29/08/2024: The place was so so, but what was really unacceptable is the attitude of the head waitress. The wine served in that place was full of deposit and no solution was offered, no apologies, nor compensation. According to the waitress the wine was totally fine and I was wrong to complain about it! I don't recommend eating there unless you want to end your evening literally with a headache. Waitress is rude and acts like she is knowledgeable and we are not. I recommend the restaurant next door "George Blanc Bistrot" on the other hand is really good and service is excellent

06/09/2024: July 2024 while passing through Saulieu we have 2 espressos. Superb environment but €18 for 2 coffees and 2 small sachets of Bernard Loiseau sugar. No sweets, no glass of water. It's a bit expensive!!!

24/08/2024: Very good restaurant experience. Varied menus cooked on site. The chef was able to adapt to our particular request. Do not hesitate to leave the city center of Saulieu, because the value for money is favorable.
