21/04/2026: A lot has changed at this bakery, which was featured on the famous TV show, and not for the better... Visited April 2026: The waitress or owner who served me was about as graceful as a prison door! Several other customers had commented on this. Otherwise, the quality of the products can vary from one Sunday to the next: the pastries are sometimes good, and at other times quite mediocre.

12/04/2026: A great place for those who love homemade breads, pastries, and desserts...tasty, generous portions, and rustic presentation. I'm a fan.

01/05/2026: The room reeked of stale tobacco. The drain was clogged at the sink. In the middle of the night, we were woken by the foul odor coming from the drains, forcing us to sleep with the window open.

28/12/2025: Avoid at all costs! The mattress had springs sticking out, there were cobwebs everywhere, the sink was cracked all over, and the shelves under the bathroom mirror were dirty with glass shards. At breakfast, you had to wear a coat; it wasn't heated.

25/12/2025: During the Christmas holidays, we were passing through Dijon and went to the Campanile Sud for a meal. We were welcomed by Annissa, and we commend her for her gracious and efficient service. The pleasant atmosphere of the place made us return the following evening. If you're ever in Dijon Sud, don't hesitate to go.

24/03/2026: Restaurants with representatives, nothing unusual, the manager is lost, doesn't seem to be managing, very long wait to come and take the order.

14/02/2026: Quiet, welcoming, and pleasant place. Friendly staff, impeccable service. Excellent meal.

27/03/2026: As tourists, we stumbled upon this place by chance because our hotel was right next door; it was an electro/groove night. Entry was €10 on a Friday night. The bar was reasonably priced, with drinks and snacks available all night long. Check out their menu on Facebook. The place, with its vaulted cellars, is stylish. We received a very warm welcome, and the music was fantastic! We had a great night and met some lovely people. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Dijon.

25/10/2025: Super friendly bartenders, great prices, and a fantastic atmosphere every night. Definitely THE best bar in Dijon!

01/01/2026: This is our third time at this brasserie, and we were very disappointed. The ribeye steak was inedible; the meat was gamey—the smell and taste were off. The waitress should have taken it back to the chef so he could at least taste or smell it. Her response was quite arrogant. As former restaurant owners, we didn't want to push the issue. We understand that mistakes happen, but we should at least verify the customer's claims.

19/09/2025: Lunch menu of the day for only 16 euros!! Salad with volants, choice of 5 main courses, and 5 desserts. Lots of drivers inside, so fast service.

05/04/2026: Amazing hot chocolate. A must-try, with a super light foam.

02/04/2026: We stopped for a coffee. The coffee was very good, however the condition and presentation of the menu left much to be desired (a loose, dirty sheet of paper).

28/09/2025: Finally, a restaurant where the experience was excellent. The dishes were very good, generous, and flavorful. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, both friendly and relaxed, which made the meal even more enjoyable. A great place that I recommend without hesitation.

05/04/2026: Quality meats, well-cooked. Short waits. It's self-service, with the option of all-you-can-eat appetizers and desserts, paying for a main course of your choice.

18/04/2026: A terrible experience. Second visit, and definitely the last. The manager was incredibly rude to us for a simple bottle of water brought from outside, even though we had ordered over €50 worth of food (including a €6.90 bottle of Coke). Frankly ridiculous—you don't see this kind of behavior even in big chains. He gave us an unpleasant look, his tone was borderline rude… for a bottle of water, he needs to calm down a bit. And the food is barely any better: wraps filled with salad, three tiny scraps of meat, and almost no sauce, tacos that are increasingly mediocre… the quality is plummeting. In short, deplorable service and disappointing food. Avoid at all costs.

18/04/2026: I was quite optimistic entering this bar. The gentlemen there were polite and helpful. As it was too early to serve the food, we were forced to wait a few minutes. So, we had some beer while waiting for the kitchen to open. A lady arrived. The welcoming atmosphere disappeared. After we placed our order, we were asked to pay immediately—before the food was served. What a joke! The gentleman said we would pay at the end of the meal, but it seems the lady had a different opinion. I felt unwelcome there, like a potential thief. I was surprised again when I received my order. It was supposed to be a bowl of lamb kebab with French fries and some bacon on top. Unfortunately, it was nothing like what I ordered—or what I thought I ordered. Maybe it was a language issue, but I got half a kilogram of fries sprinkled with bacon and drowned in some cheddar dressing—for just about 14 euros. Ridiculous. This is not the first time I’ve been disappointed with French cuisine and hospitality. Now, I think I understand a bit why English people don’t like the French, and vice versa. Nobody likes big-headed people.

02/05/2026: The food was decent and quite plentiful, however I was very disappointed; the blonde waitress was uncouth and very unpleasant.

30/04/2026: Vodka Red Bull was lacking in vodka. The shorts were well-served. The 1947 wasn't great. Aside from that, the waiter was very friendly and the prices were attractive!

25/04/2026: I’m on a trip going to different cities across France and have been trying espresso in each one. Me and a friend noticed we had a little time to spare and thought we would go to this bar for a quick espresso and some people watching. I’ve never had an espresso as good as the one I’ve had here and I don’t think I’ll be able to enjoy one like this again. I don’t know if it was just the woman who made the espresso or their brand of beans but wow, that was an incredible espresso for an incredible town. I would highly recommend you go here for the espresso and some food. It was extremely busy when we went but we ordered, received our drinks, and had paid and left in just under 20 minutes which for me, an American, is just completely and insanely fast for a sit down restaurant/cafe like this.
