03/11/2025: We stumbled upon this charming village and walked in at 1:30 pm for lunch, and were lucky enough to get a table.
We thoroughly enjoyed the braised ham with Montbard-style sauce; the sauce was incredible!
The welcome was warm, as was the setting. A great place to eat.

25/06/2025: The food is wonderful, original and gastronomic. The place is small, simple and clean. The lady in service is very kind, happy and very competent. Although the waiting times for dishes in France differ from other countries e.g. in Greece, America etc., here one more person is definitely needed in the kitchen to help the excellent chef prepare the dishes faster. Finally, on hot days the ventilation is not enough, and an air condition would help the atmosphere.
11/06/2025: We were wandering around Dijon by chance when a delicious smell stopped us dead in our tracks in front of So Restaurant. We looked at each other and said: we absolutely have to go there. As a result, we booked a table for the next day—and we were right to do so. The cuisine is simply extraordinary: a refined French base, enhanced by perfectly balanced Japanese touches. Each dish is a true discovery. A memorable culinary experience. Not to be missed!

We were given this spa package (hammam and pool) as a gift, but unfortunately the pool wasn't warm.
Then, while we were in the hammam, a young woman came in to take a shower without a swimsuit, her breasts exposed. An employee who came to collect towels didn't say anything to her. This is quite awkward, as there are almost only couples there; it's provocative and we were very shocked.
On the other hand, we had a good dinner.

The service is a bit oppressive at the beginning of the meal. You're not even really seated yet when they ask you what you want to drink. 30 seconds later, the appetizers arrive (very good, by the way). Then they take your order, then they clear the appetizers and bring you oil and bread, but all this in a short period of time. Once you start eating, it calms down.
The menu is limited but with good products, and we really enjoyed the beef bourguignon, a real treat, and the burger too. I just didn't like the waffle potatoes (cold, hard, and oily), which I mentioned to the waiter.
Dessert is the best: a trolley full of pastries, and you can choose up to six. Very good, with original and local flavors such as blackcurrant, anise, etc.
The servers were also very pleasant. The prices are high but in line with the quality of the products and service.

17/11/2025: Continuing my journey through the Noiron-sous-Gevrey region, after many stops at inns and taverns, I paused at a place called La Fabrique Gourmande to sample a dish said to be among the most famous: the gourmet bowl. To my great surprise, the dish featured golden fries, a most unusual thing in my knightly eyes, as such preparations were unheard of on our medieval tables. The minced beef, however, revealed a refined taste I had anticipated, and the sauce, layered with melted Reblochon-style cheese and gently caramelized onions, confirmed, by its richness and finesse, that the cook was well-versed in the flavors of our Dauphiné lands.
Having challenged the owner, I was able to appreciate that, despite the unusual nature of some of the ingredients, the dish lived up to its name and satisfied a palate well-versed in the culinary traditions of our region. My steed was able to rest in the shade, a sign that the traveler finds honor and comfort there. I set off again, fulfilled, to spread this news to the king, so that the excellence and uniqueness of this feast might be known.
