28/04/2026: Just having arrived in Monpazier, I walked in to Restaurant Eleonore late and without a reservation. Isabelle, the owner was very accommodating offering me a table even though it was at the end of their dinner service. The meal of filet of beef was delicious and the presentation wonderful. Danin my server was exceptional and anticipated my every need. I highly recommend dinner at Restaurant Eleonore.

27/12/2025: Christmas Eve: A refined and welcoming atmosphere. Impeccable service. The menu: sophisticated, refined, elegant, and absolutely wonderful. The quality of the ingredients is beautifully showcased by the chef and his team. Special mention goes to the duck breast Wellington. It was well worth the 1 hour and 15 minute drive!

03/05/2026: The service and food were perfect, the steak was incredibly tender, the side dishes were delicious, and the profiteroles were yummy! The owner was friendly and had a great sense of humor. We have absolutely no complaints and will be back for a fifth time.

16/05/2026: Reservation confirmed the day before for 1 p.m. but not honored by the owner. We were a group of 10 and had to find another solution with 4 very hungry children.

07/05/2026: We enjoyed an evening meal but did not stay in the hotel. The place is charming and in a secluded section of the village with good parking and access to shops and the river. Staff very courteous, meal was well prepared and presented, wines from the region were quite good.

05/06/2026: Excellent restaurant with delicious local produce in a beautiful old building, very close to the old town of Sarlat. Very reasonable prices for the quality. We did not stay at the hotel.

22/03/2026: Honestly, out of season, we were delighted to find a restaurant. It's expensive for a crepe, but oh well, the service was friendly nonetheless. Out of season, it's worth it!

14/05/2026: Excellent from start to finish. We decided to spend the weekend there for three days, from Friday, May 8th to Sunday, May 10th. Pleasant setting, delicious food, comfortable rooms, welcoming and attentive staff. I have absolutely no complaints about this stay; I highly recommend it!

15/05/2026: Good traditional and local cuisine. All the classic duck dishes are there. 😋 Special mention for the duck confit! It could use a few more vegetables (it's quite fatty). Very noisy.

27/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! We enjoyed a meal on the terrace in a calm and friendly atmosphere, with generous portions. The service was very pleasant, and the cuisine was refined and sophisticated. Kudos to the chef for this blend of flavors and originality. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We'll definitely be back!

01/05/2026: Good food, but not great. We had a nice starter and main. Dessert was tasteless. Portions are small, the main was almost smaller than the starter. Service was kind, but very slow, we had to wait a lot between courses. Overpriced for what you get at almost EUR 40 per person for two small courses and a glass of wine. Overall our visit was disappointing, there are better value options in Bergerac.

06/05/2026: Excellent restaurant serving delicious traditional dishes prepared in an open kitchen using fresh ingredients. A friendly waitress, and the interior is beautifully decorated with tableware from local artisans.

22/04/2026: The young manager was very friendly and pleasant; we were greeted with a smile and the food was excellent. The menus are reasonably priced considering the quality of the dishes, ranging from €25 to €36.

01/05/2026: At the gateway to the Périgord Noir region, and surrounded by many (very) beautiful sights to see and visit, the location is already a major advantage! Add to that a team that is attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, and a restaurant that complements your visits with a selection of expertly prepared local products… your stay has everything to be perfect! The indoor heated swimming pool is a welcome bonus after a busy day! Our children, Mathias and Laura, and we ourselves have the spirit of this place etched in our memories! We hope to return with another little one :) All the best and thank you again for this wonderful stay!

26/04/2026: Had a wonderful week. Atmosphere, welcome, meals, service, parking, pool. The establishment was highly recommended, no problems. I would return even on my own.
