25/08/2024: Last minute reservation for a weekend, and what a nice surprise. A smiling, dynamic and pleasant welcome. Large, well separated pitches. Clean sanitary facilities, a pleasant, good restaurant at very reasonable prices. The managers and employees are super nice.
I recommend with my eyes closed to all lovers of nature, calm and simplicity.

25/08/2024: We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Le Lieu campsite. A warm welcome by Charline and Julien who make you feel that you are their guest and want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. One wonderful, quiet campsite, you can choose your own spot. Many shaded areas with hedges. 1 central toilet block with all facilities. Toilet paper, shower gel, no coin hassle. Beautifully located next to the forest, dog friendly. Restaurant with hot snacks and delicious pizzas from Julien. Occasional theme evening with a modified menu, we had Spanish paella with home-baked cake and a live band! Very pleasant. Sublime!

06/11/2024: I have been coming regularly with my colleagues for over a year now, the owners are very welcoming, the food is very good for a complete menu at 16 euros. The choice of two starters and two main courses means there is something for everyone and there are also 3 or 4 desserts to choose from each time. I will not remove a star for my contactless device which does not work regularly 🙃

11/05/2024: Absolutely fabulous little restaurant in a lovely peaceful square in the midday of Perigeaux.We was warmly welcomed by i assume the owner who fortunately spoke English as our French is limited and shown the lunchtime menu which although some would say was limited it covered all your requirements.We both had the crab to start with my wife having perfectly cooked (medium rare) steak for her main and me the sweet breads cooked in a mushroom sauce with the obligatory cheese to finnish everything was excellent,washed down with a lovely rose wine all for €100 outstanding value,food,service and setting DO NOT miss this restaurant if your ever in the area.

19/09/2024: Depuis 2 ans, lors de nos vacances en dordogne, nous avons grand plaisir à s arrêter chez Jeanine, les produits sont de grandes qualités et locaux, la vue depuis le restaurant sur la nature est splendide, l interieur est décoré avec beaucoup de goût.
Nous avons hâte d y revenir

27/08/2024: What charm this old post house has! Very pretty park where it is nice to relax by the swimming pool or have breakfast, close access to the river completes this idyllic setting.
20/08/2024: Very nice hotel, quiet environment, small room and bathroom. Welcoming staff, good breakfast. It’s a shame that the swimming pool is only accessible from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and that breakfast is only served at 8 or 9 a.m.

27/08/2024: Je recommande, un délice, tarifs abordables et quantité dans l'assiette.
Le service est de qualité aussi, nous sommes venus avec un bébé d'un an et demi, ils se sont adaptés à nos demandes pour notre fils (menu, réhausseur, verre en plastique), ça fait plaisir. Pas beaucoup d'attente entre les plats.
C'est une vraie bonne adresse, allez y les yeux fermés!

11/09/2024: We hebben 4 keer gebeld om te reserveren. Elke keer kregen we het antwoordapparaat met de opmerking om later terug te bellen. We zijn toen toch langsgegaan echter we werden op een zeer onvriendelijke onbeschofte manier temidden van het etende publiek naar buiten gestuurd. De onverzorgde gastheer (misschien wel eigenaar) liet ons met een wuivend handje weten dat we moesten vertrekken.
