17/09/2024: We had lunch and discovered the search for truffles with Eric, Laetitia and their dog. Welcoming, available, they answered all our questions and prepared us a delicious meal based on truffles. Éric is a cook and Laetitia a pastry chef: perfect! The value for money is great We recommend 👍

14/09/2024: Quiet place with swimming pool. Pleasant, welcoming owners who are passionate about their job. Very interesting visit to the truffle farm.

21/08/2024: In the heart of the market, be curious enough to go and taste Kristell's pancakes, you won't regret it. No Breton crepe can compete, the level is very high. Quality organic and local ingredients. Great welcome despite the late hour, special attention for our pregnant friend. Kristell shines and her pancakes are even more exceptional.

14/08/2024: Cadre extrêmement joli, table excellente. Pour ces 2 raisons, je recommande vivement et je reviendrai. Suggestions d'améliorations : tables du jardin ou nous avons pris l'apéritif avec une tres jolie vue sur le restaurant et le jardin ne semblaient pas propres ; menu et indications du site internet ne sont pas à jour, personnel sympathique mais pas tout à fait à la hauteur de la table et du lieu.

28/08/2024: Nice little aperitif, a good quality cheese board and provided precisely given the price. A very nice choice of beers, the happy hour beer is very tempting (€3.50 per pint). I limit it to 4 for the kitchen because we only had an aperitif board, however the kitchen seems very good. If you want to watch matches this is the place for you with their giant outdoor screen. I recommend!

28/08/2024: TABLE FOR 7 WITHOUT RESERVATION??? Pure Hazard made us stop at this pub. That day we didn't even plan to go to Périgueux (a city full of surprises) I myself worked in hostels (the highest quality in France and abroad) before my family life. We were really amazed by the professionalism of their waitresses, taking orders as much as the service, they had the answer to each of the questions on the menu. A very big congratulations 👏👏👏 the impeccable service. The terrace was full when we arrived but we apparently don't watch the clock here because customers are still flocking when we leave. Finally...the kitchen. We had non-alcoholic cocktails (exceptional cases but you have to go back one day) a real delight... meanwhile they brought us the burger plate from the children's menu... a huge plate... absolutely all homemade . The mark is given.....the rest for adults remains in line. Very generous plates with good products and great flavors. Périgord salad, whole duck breast, thyme and honey lamb shank........everything is very good, clean and neat. A big congratulations. Visitors from 15🐂🐂🐂

11/09/2024: We hebben 4 keer gebeld om te reserveren. Elke keer kregen we het antwoordapparaat met de opmerking om later terug te bellen. We zijn toen toch langsgegaan echter we werden op een zeer onvriendelijke onbeschofte manier temidden van het etende publiek naar buiten gestuurd. De onverzorgde gastheer (misschien wel eigenaar) liet ons met een wuivend handje weten dat we moesten vertrekken.

04/08/2024: The hotel was immaculate and food delicious. Cannot praise the staff enough-they were helpful, humorous, friendly and so very French !superb! The pool and the setting made this a perfect place to relax and enjoy comfort and food !

30/07/2024: Nous y sommes aller au déjeuner. Formule du midi simple mais abordable et bonne. Les salades sont généreuses. Les prix sont très abordables. Petit coup de cœur pour la mayonnaise faite maison qui vont très bien avec les frites fraîches! On sent que le patron veut faire plaisir à ses clients. En tant que touriste qui découvre la région, je ne peux que recommander ce restaurant aux autres vacanciers de la région.

23/08/2024: I note the negative reviews but honestly this was an utterly brilliant meal and the cafe gourmand was the best I have ever had anywhere in the world. The staff were perfectly nice. The setting was beautiful. The entrecote was tender and delicious and perfectly seasoned. Watching the chef working in the kitchen, he certainly knew his onions. I would go back here any day of the week. But by all means go and blow your money somewhere less good if you want. It means there will be a table available for me!
