24/08/2026: A classic, elegant bistro. Located right on the Tremolat market square. Great food; we had a set menu, very fair prices. A bottle of wine for €23. We were there on a mild August evening and had a lovely dinner. The bistro belongs to the Relais & Châteaux across the street. As is typical in French bistros, you pay conveniently at the counter by mentioning your table number. A fantastic system (I wish we had that in Germany). Reservations are recommended. Thank you very much.

23/08/2026: Had a lovely meal this afternoon on the way back in the small village of Trémolet on the Dordogne. Beautiful dishes and friendly service. Unfortunately, I received salmon instead of the ordered trout (and it turned out not to be cooked well enough), so I had to send the plate back and get rosé wine instead of a dry white from Bergerac, but otherwise perfectly fine.

31/08/2026: You can go there without hesitation. We were lucky enough to try the new menu. The dishes are absolutely exquisite, featuring local ingredients. My husband and I opted for the set menu (starter, main course, dessert). The place is quiet and unique, located on a small street in Bergerac. You can eat inside or on the terrace. The service is top-notch, and their professionalism is evident. The team is dynamic and very friendly. We will definitely be back.

21/08/2026: This restaurant, located in the old town of Bergerac, is very cozy, and the waitress is very welcoming. The menu is small but features local and homemade products. Congratulations to the chef for making my son appreciate Périgord cuisine. We left completely satisfied. I highly recommend it; a very good team.

25/08/2026: Very disappointed. We booked a table for 12:45 PM. We arrived on time, but our table had already been given away. The waitress asked us to wait. 20 minutes later, we were seated. The non-alcoholic piña colada cocktail was not very good. The cassoulet needs improvement; it was probably made with canned beans. The beans were hard. There was no enjoyment whatsoever, even though we finished our plates (I don't pay to throw food away). The children's menu was overpriced for what it was: two chicken tenders and a tub of ice cream from a store-bought container for €13. They didn't even offer any compensation for the wait. Offering the only coffee we ordered would have been a nice touch. In short, I advise you to avoid this place; for the same price, there must be much better options. One thing is for sure: I will never return.

23/08/2026: The food was good, but not homemade with "good" ingredients. The waitresses shouted and smoked in front of the customers; their uniforms weren't appropriate, which was a bit of a letdown. It's a good restaurant, but the attitude and professionalism were lacking!

09/09/2026: A very good experience at this establishment. The menu is easy to understand and the dishes are excellent. The service is perfect from appetizer to dessert. A place to recommend without hesitation. The prices are in line with the menus. A place to remember without a doubt. Congratulations!

26/08/2026: Very disappointed with the restaurant's offerings, having tried another restaurant (part of the same group), Au Fil de l'Eau, the day before… The flavors were lacking, the ingredients weren't showcased, it was bland. It's a shame, considering the quality of the other restaurant; it's strange that there's such a difference.

02/09/2026: Hello, I regularly eat at your restaurant and have never been disappointed. I came for lunch today (12:10 pm) and ordered grilled ham, carrots, and fries. The ham and carrots were fine, but the fries were a disaster! Dry and hard, like they were from the day before. Not very good. I hope they'll be better next time, especially at the beginning of service.

24/08/2026: Given the numerous positive reviews, I was expecting a much better experience. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with my stay. The room wasn't very clean, and the high chair provided wasn't clean either. The hosts were only moderately welcoming, and the garden could use more maintenance. On the other hand, a special mention goes to the meals, which were truly excellent. Overall, a mixed experience, with some positive aspects but also several areas for improvement.

22/08/2026: We stopped for lunch and were greeted by the manager, who is also the chef. We had a very good meal and received a warm welcome. We highly recommend it; it's all homemade!

16/08/2026: A place we stumbled upon that definitely deserves to be better known! We ate there twice in one week because we enjoyed it so much 😋 Delicious food made with fresh ingredients, all served by a charming (and proud) bear of a man with whom we had a lovely chat! 11/05/2026: Restaurant: Disappointed, given the reviews that led us to choose this place. Very friendly welcome and pleasant atmosphere. Wines: very good. The main courses were excellent. Pastilla and duck breasts were perfect and generous. But: Foie gras: Small and bland, which is surprising for the region! Desserts were truly disappointing. Millefeuille: soggy pastry and mediocre cream. Strawberry tiramisu: not a single biscuit, which is the foundation, even if it's a modern twist. Mijito: where's the rum? So... Disappointed.
