We had a wonderful time at Restaurant Meysset. The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious: creative, refined cuisine with perfectly prepared ingredients and masterful flavor combinations. The service is impeccable and the setting very pleasant. A must-try that I highly recommend.

29/04/2026: As good s always. Been visiting for the last 6 years, and watched the evolution. Highly recommended. If you're turning u on a Tuesday night in April, you can probably walk in, otherwise a reservation is a good idea. Salads are good, Chacuterie plates are lovely, indeed everything is prepared with care.
04/04/2026: I've never seen a restaurant so welcoming, friendly, and above all, delicious. It's definitely my number one choice in this city, where I'm just passing through for work. Honestly, it's the best I've ever tried!
Special mention to the crispy leeks! Big thanks to the owners of this restaurant, and thank you again for this wonderful experience!

20/04/2026: I'm speaking on behalf of my friends who stayed there... A perfect place to relax and undoubtedly heavenly in early summer since the pool will be open! The restaurant staff are lovely, and their terrace in the evening is simply dreamy. The rooms are simple but very comfortable. The place is ideal for recharging. Excellent value for money.

12/10/2025: A friendly, unpretentious restaurant filled with regulars in a small village, offering generous and refined cuisine. The welcome is warm. Homemade food; I recommend the foie gras crème brûlée.

19/02/2026: A lovely little evening on February 14th with a beautiful and appetizing mixed platter, as delicious as it was beautiful. I highly recommend it; the atmosphere is pleasant, and the waitresses are attentive, kind, and friendly.
I'll gladly return! Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a great time. The two people who served us were absolutely fantastic. We'll definitely be back.
Keep up the good work! It's great to still have places like this where you feel right at home.

20/02/2026: The welcome is warm and the setting very pleasant.
The menu offers a good selection of dishes, with the option to customize your filling, which is a nice touch.
A few points for improvement:
The back room lacks light and feels a bit cramped. It's a shame, because the space could be more inviting.
On the plate, the fillings don't always seem to live up to the crêpes (canned vegetables?), which is disappointing for a crêperie in the city center.
The hot drinks, like the Viennese hot chocolate, taste diluted, as if they've been watered down. As for the orange juice, served half-full with four ice cubes, one can easily imagine what it would be like without them…it's a pity.
02/01/2026: Unfortunately, we received an appalling welcome. Not a greeting, not a glance, and then we were rudely dismissed when we asked a question.
We turned on our heels and left.

21/04/2026: Warning: The displayed price is incorrect. Be careful, as there will be an unpleasant surprise at the checkout! We didn't pay the same price... and on top of that, we were put in our place.
The displayed price is the price you pay! So, ladies and gentlemen, check your bill carefully before paying... When we asked if some of the dishes were homemade, the waitress pretended not to understand and got offended... What?!
I absolutely do not recommend this place.
21/04/2026: The servers and food were very good. However, 5 out of 7 people at the table chose the menu advertised at €22, and to our surprise, when paying at the till, the price of the menu had increased to €26.

10/06/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant with my father for our anniversary.
The service was impeccable, the head waiter was very friendly, and the sommelier offered excellent recommendations.
We opted for the seven-course tasting menu, and each dish was a culinary journey.
Having dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants, I believe this one is far superior to a single star and could easily deserve a second.
Thank you so much for this excellent experience.

21/05/2026: Wow, the food was amazing. The service is best in class. What is not to love? We had a small room overlooking the golf course, what could be better? My fish was perfect, cheese course was absolutely delicious. The rose wine suggested was a lovely match. This was a memorable dining experience.

31/03/2026: A wonderful family visit on Saturday afternoon with a truly exceptional welcome. Product presentations, tastings, and highlighting of specialties, all delivered with passion and kindness. The only problem... everything is delicious and it's hard to choose! Home delivery is available in vacuum-sealed packaging, and they provided explanations for storage and cooking. Everything was fantastic, thank you so much again! A must-do, and I'll definitely be back!

15/04/2026: A fantastic discovery this lunchtime! 🍽️ We stopped by with a friend without a reservation and received a very warm welcome from the owner, who single-handedly runs the restaurant and the kitchen.
• The food: Delicious! The snail profiterole was amazing, and the ribeye steak (with wine sauce, fries, and salad) was tender and cooked to perfection.
• The atmosphere: An authentic setting with tablecloths, cloth napkins, and comfortable seating. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it for a delicious and authentic break! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

But I work in the restaurant industry.
My experience has taken me to Corsica, the Alps, and many other places.
The prices charged don't justify their professionalism at all.
Aged meat, okay, I'm willing to pay for cuts like that, but €80 per person for a 1700g ribeye steak, which in my opinion wasn't as aged as advertised, seems outrageous.
This was my second visit, and I already found the prices excessive, but why not give them a second chance?
It's a shame, even though I understand the overhead costs, energy costs, etc. Clearly, for a restaurant open year-round and described as family-run, they need to review their profit margins because times are tough for both people and restaurant owners.
But don't overcharge. As the grandson of a butcher and a professional chef, I know what professional rates are. Making money is fine, but beyond that it becomes indecent and tarnishes the beautiful profession of catering.
