12/04/2026: We had a wonderful time. The service was perfect and the food was excellent. Our waiter, Renaud, who looked after our table, was very helpful, friendly, and always smiling. We highly recommend this establishment.

06/04/2026: Undercooked kidneys, pinkish yes, but raw?? 50 grams of kidneys for an à la carte dish and a quarter of a carrot? Neither good nor well-prepared, and on top of that, the portion was extremely small. Servers wandering around aimlessly, seemingly unaware of what they're doing. The worst value for money in the area, a rip-off for what's served at this price. In short, avoid at all costs. A complete joke.

06/04/2026: Wow! What a wonderful moment of warmth and authenticity. The owners went out of their way to accommodate my lactose intolerance. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. And products in the shop so I could continue enjoying them at home. Thank you for this marvelous welcome to spring on this beautiful Easter Sunday 2026 🌸🐣

07/02/2026: A wonderful culinary experience with a truffle-based meal that surprisingly complements every course, from appetizer to dessert. This venue is particularly recommended for group gatherings, although the service suffers somewhat as a result.

30/12/2025: Located on a main road, with parking. The daily special was very good: duck confit with sautéed garlic potatoes – yum! The children's menu included a hamburger and homemade fries, which were excellent. A cordial was also included. They also offer dishes featuring duck, andouillette sausage, and chicken. Excellent desserts: crème brûlée, cheesecake, and fresh fruit salad. We tried them. They also have chocolate cake, etc. The decor is a garage with cars, etc. Very reasonable prices. We recommend it.

22/11/2025: A delightful surprise! A charming little hotel with old-world appeal, very comfortable, impeccable service, helpful staff, and a very generous breakfast... Ideally located just a few minutes from Sarlat. We would definitely return!

16/11/2025: During our weekend getaway in the Périgord region, we stumbled upon this small, unpretentious hotel-restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The ambiance is cozy and romantic, thanks to its location by the water. The restaurant is excellent and highly recommended.

11/04/2026: Exceptional! Top-notch 7-course menu! Impeccable service, excellent food! A lovely chat with the chef. A truly wonderful experience! (Just make sure you address the sewage smell in the restrooms.)

15/02/2026: One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Have had the tasting menu there on two special occasions and both times it was incredible. I told them I was vegetarian in advance and they made an absolutely magnificent vegetarian menu. Highly recommend.

A superb location, excellent food, excellent servers—what more could you ask for? The children's menu… Not great and not very ambitious… the age limit needs to be reviewed to attract more customers…

03/01/2026: We had lunch at the restaurant in Roufillac (the same one). Excellent welcome, very good, well-presented and generous menus (including the Périgord trou). Also, stuffed chicken in a pot, a delight! Too much to walk afterwards, but still, a lovely discovery with a small raspberry liqueur offered at the end. Thank you for the welcome, René and Ginette (it was her birthday).

17/03/2026: I've had the opportunity to go to this café many times, to study or to have a drink with friends. The staff is warm and very welcoming. The service is quick and the servers are all pleasant. As for the food, it's good (the fries are fantastic), the mixed platters (cheese or charcuterie) are excellent and beautifully presented. The value for money is unbeatable; it's very affordable. I've always had a great time at Café de la Truffe. I can't wait to go back!
