28/08/2024: TABLE FOR 7 WITHOUT RESERVATION??? Pure Hazard made us stop at this pub. That day we didn't even plan to go to Périgueux (a city full of surprises) I myself worked in hostels (the highest quality in France and abroad) before my family life. We were really amazed by the professionalism of their waitresses, taking orders as much as the service, they had the answer to each of the questions on the menu. A very big congratulations 👏👏👏 the impeccable service. The terrace was full when we arrived but we apparently don't watch the clock here because customers are still flocking when we leave. Finally...the kitchen. We had non-alcoholic cocktails (exceptional cases but you have to go back one day) a real delight... meanwhile they brought us the burger plate from the children's menu... a huge plate... absolutely all homemade . The mark is given.....the rest for adults remains in line. Very generous plates with good products and great flavors. Périgord salad, whole duck breast, thyme and honey lamb shank........everything is very good, clean and neat. A big congratulations. Visitors from 15🐂🐂🐂

28/08/2024: Nice little aperitif, a good quality cheese board and provided precisely given the price. A very nice choice of beers, the happy hour beer is very tempting (€3.50 per pint). I limit it to 4 for the kitchen because we only had an aperitif board, however the kitchen seems very good. If you want to watch matches this is the place for you with their giant outdoor screen. I recommend!

28/08/2024: Blah blah. The address is no longer as good as it once was. Not very warm welcome. The service is good, but the menu and the menu have gone downhill. It's at the level of a small neighborhood brewery -- for much higher prices! (PS: I loved the 90 cent butter supplement!!!!!! -- that says it all!)

18/09/2024: What a fun time! Once is not customary, this is what the cuisine that the Chef offered me today gave me. So much attention paid by all the protagonists of this exceptional moment. From refined appetizers to give the brigade time to orchestrate its score, to flavors enhanced by the talent of the artists who work in the ovens, everything is a wonder for the senses. The visuals have nothing to envy of the flavors delivered by the dishes, each more elaborate than the last. A denominator links the progress of your meal: Generosity with a capital “G”. The attention to detail extends to the concern of offering your guest the "sparkling" which will pair wonderfully with the poached plums and their farandole of ice cream and homemade whipped cream, covered with shards of simply exceptional meringue. Thank you very much for this suspended, magical moment so full of this desire to give “pleasure”. Eric.

22/08/2024: A simple, local restaurant and that's the charm. We come as we are and we meet people who know each other. We liked it, the prices are reasonable, the cuisine is family style with a menu for 22 or 28€. A soup for everyone.

Accueil sincère et agréable, pour une cuisine assez incroyable, par exemple une tourte au cerf assez dingue et réussie, des amuse bouches variés et succulents, des desserts inédits, surprenants et absolument remarquables, peu sucrés, en conclusion allez les yeux fermés, c'est juste formidable ! Bravo à toute l'équipe !

04/11/2024: Décevant! Quantités ridicules: on se croirait revenu au temps de la nouvelle cuisine avec ses portions minimalistes; par contre le prix est maximal! Exemples: un verre de vin (Bergerac quelconque) dans un grand verre, ce qui vous donne l'impression de ne pas avoir grand chose à boire : 12€ Dessert: 15€ Les plats sont bons heureusement Patron assez suffisant, un peu donneur de leçon Bref passez votre chemin. ha oui, j'oubliais : 135€ pour deux : une entrée+1 plat et 1 entrée+ 1 dessert et 2 fonds de verres de vins

13/09/2024: Nous avons été conquis par l’ambiance des lieux, la prévenance de notre hôte et surtout par les saveurs de l’ensemble de nos plats. Les produits à la carte sont régionaux et délicieux. Mention toute particulière pour l’attention du chef à mon intolérance alimentaire particulière pour me permettre d’apprécier pleinement et sereinement cette soirée. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter lors d’un prochain séjour dans la région. Merci encore !

08/09/2024: Un petit peu déçu par le plat et le dessert la cause le sucre le tournedos de canard plat salé sucré était beaucoup plus sucré que la normale je conseille au cuisinier qui et certainement très qualifié de revoir sa vision de l'équilibre entre le sucré et salé de même pour le dessert la coupe de pruneaux avec glace vanille est énormément sucrée attention même pour les desserts il faut revoir l'équilibre
