Last-minute reservation for July 14th!
A super friendly, smiling, and efficient team of servers. We arrived with two little boys, and the server was quick to prepare their meal and very kind to them!

The food is quite well prepared and the service is particularly friendly. The quality-to-price ratio is good. A nice place for simple but tasty food, a little removed from the crowds of Rue Sainte-Catherine.
29/04/2026: During my visit to La Maison Mère, the service was exactly as I had hoped. The food was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. The atmosphere was also wonderful! Thank you for the warm welcome!

27/05/2026: It's got good croiscent and and pan au chocolat. It's a bakery. Go to the counter say bonjour and order. Nothing fancy, nothing special, just good old fashion french boulangerie.

07/07/2026: A wonderfully understated restaurant with a Scottish flavour in the heart of Bordeaux. The food is first class (both vegetarian and meat-based dishes) as is the service which is unobtrusive but always attentive.
Pound for pound or, more accurately, euro for euro, Racines punches above its weight.
Thank you for a great experience.

I enjoy myself, I'm surprised, I discover or rediscover things—in short, it's everything I love about this place, and for that, thank you to the entire team who take us on this culinary journey.
