24/07/2026: A wonderful surprise awaited us at the back of this charming restaurant, highly recommended by many: a wooden deck terrace with a 180-degree view of a beautiful green valley, which the setting sun illuminated magnificently throughout our meal. Beyond this truly magical natural setting, the cuisine at Clos de Mirande truly deserves the numerous glowing reviews we had read before our visit. Finally, the service was also impeccable and extremely pleasant. It was a truly lovely evening for us... Bravo!

08/08/2026: Really lovely dinner at Bistrot Maurice. Julie looked after us and was brilliant — super friendly and great service. The teens loved the homemade iced tea and there were loads of delicious dishes to order and share. Really relaxed atmosphere, great food and a lovely first night in Bordeaux. Would definitely recommend.

18/07/2026: We came as a couple and ate on the back terrace. We ordered a starter, main course, and dessert from the set menu. The starter was good, but I absolutely loved the steak tartare. It was truly wonderful, and the French toast was delicious. I highly recommend it because the staff is friendly and the food is excellent.

09/05/2026: A meal shared with friends; the pork rillettes were delicious, as were the other meats. For dessert, I recommend the crepes. The terrace is very pleasant, and you can sit under the parasol for shade. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and gave us great advice. There's a parking lot opposite the restaurant for easy parking. Highly recommended!

30/07/2026: Family meal. Pleasant welcome, good service, and it wasn't too busy, so it was quick. Good food, neither too salty nor too sweet, reasonable portions. The only thing I could improve is the menu selection, which could be more extensive (but it was a weekday). This is our second time there, and we'll gladly go back.

03/07/2026: The place is magnificent, the welcome extraordinary, and the food delicious. Not only is the price more than affordable, but they also offer you a bottle of wine and an aperitif in the evening. A big thank you to the owners and the staff who welcomed us. A 5-star motorhome stopover.

13/06/2026: Beautiful setting, excellent welcome and service. Attentive and smiling staff. Inventive chef, magnificent presentation, and delicious flavors. The wines offered paired perfectly with the dishes. We had a wonderful time. We highly recommend it.

11/06/2026: The food was great but the service and food safety was not good. The wine pairing was just wines from the by the glass and not paired at all so avoid. My wife also has severe allergies and 2 of the dishes contained them which could have let to hospital. If you have allergies be very careful.

07/07/2026: Excellent service, clean restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is incredibly good. There were five of us and we were served in under 10 minutes.

20/07/2026: The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were almost too attentive at times, which sometimes made me feel a little uncomfortable, as if I were being watched a lot during the meal. The manager, on the other hand, seemed less welcoming, which somewhat detracted from the experience. The meal was decent, but some elements didn't seem very fresh. The biscuits served with the ice cream looked a bit stale, the mashed potatoes tasted more like store-bought than homemade, and the fish was slightly overcooked. I did, however, appreciate that they agreed to adapt the dish to my request. Overall, I found the prices a bit high and the restaurant a little overrated considering the quality of the food.

18/07/2026: Excellent cuisine, refined and delicate, a feast for both the palate and the eyes. Impeccable service and attentive, friendly staff. Very reasonable prices considering the quality. We look forward to our next stay in Montalivet to return.
