13/10/2026: Tonight we went to pick up an anti-waste basket, we were given a salad with bacon bits in it, I should point out that I don't eat meat and asked if it was possible to replace it with something else, and I was clearly told that no, they wouldn't replace the salad, so I told them that even a brioche or a basic sandwich would be fine with me and that even if it wasn't as good as the salad, I didn't mind, and I was told "yeah well you can sort and remove them" in a very unpleasant way, so okay it was the end of the day but there are ways of speaking, this has never happened to me before and moreover in the basket there was only a salad, a brioche and a small piece of bread so I also find it unacceptable.

03/10/2026: A tea room/restaurant I used to frequent a lot in the early days and always enjoyed returning to. On Saturday, I decided to escape the weekend crowds and head to the small courtyard, which was unfortunately also overrun with tourists. I ended up in the charming gallery, but after glancing at the menu, I decided not to support the establishment's policy. Homemade iced tea for €7, seriously? What will become of these places if they suffer another tourism crisis? Locals will undoubtedly favor those that have earned their loyalty with honest and reasonable prices.

25/09/2026: We had a wonderful evening at La Perrière. The welcome was warm, the food excellent (special mention for the white sangria and the burger) and the wooded setting very pleasant.

16/10/2026: It was a wonderful experience, with great advice from the young woman named Huguette (sorry, I didn't catch her first name). She'll know who she is; we definitely took the "Abuello" (grandfather) and it was absolutely magnificent.

27/09/2026: Fabulous evening spent at this traditional bistro. Host was very welcoming and had a great sense of humour. Food was plentiful, well presented and very tasty - can recommend the entrecote and the crepes!

The mussels were delicious, especially the fisherman's mussels (I highly recommend them!), and the service was brilliant! Two very friendly and energetic waitresses (Clarysse and Sarah). 08/10/2026: I've walked past this place so many times, but never been here before. Today I had the chance to stop by and chill, have a beer. The shop closes at 11 PM. I'll come back another day to try the food.

Beautiful shaded terrace with an unobstructed view of the airfield runway and surrounding area. Consistent/reasonable prices. Attentive and efficient service. Friendly and relaxed welcome. Highly recommended.

31/10/2026: We celebrated my cousin Laurence's birthday. The atmosphere was very friendly, and the restaurant was lovely. The tables were nicely spaced, making it much more intimate. The meals were excellent, very well prepared, and the duck burger is highly recommended—super tasty and very reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back; we really enjoyed the evening.
