17/05/2026: The atmosphere and menu still meet expectations. However, there's a significant difference in the service. It's hard to explain, but there's a feeling of unprofessionalism. And above all, the Mojitos are definitely not to be missed. They're a complete disaster.

14/05/2026: We booked a table for four yesterday at 8:45 PM. We weren't served until 9:30 PM… When our food arrived, we had to ask for bread and sauces, while other tables were treated differently. The €16 shrimp salad was disappointing: bagged salad, four industrially breaded shrimp that weren't fresh. We also ordered desserts, including a "hot cookie" that wasn't at all soft or warm; it was hard and dry. And remember, it cost €7.90! We also ordered two coffees that never arrived. At 10:30 PM, tired of waiting, we decided to leave and pay the bill. The person at the counter was unpleasant and didn't apologize for the coffees. For the price, we were disappointed: poor quality food, too loud, and unfriendly staff. We won't be back.

30/07/2026: I don't usually write food reviews, but at this level of cuisine, it becomes a civic duty. The dish served is indescribable. It should, at first glance, be a bed of hummus seasoned with Espelette peppers, topped with stuffed eggplant and soft-boiled eggs. The reality is even more surprising, as it appears to be a run-of-the-mill supermarket béarnaise sauce, crowned by three thin slices of breaded eggplant peelings. As for the egg, more soft than cooked, it sits enthroned in the center of this disaster. It's utterly inedible, and the waitress clearly doesn't understand it... run away!

24/07/2026: The place has that old-fashioned brewery feel, and we loved it! The dishes were perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. In this heat, the tomato soup was ideal. The only downside was the young brunette waitress who completely ignored us when we were waiting for a table. Then, when we told her we preferred to be inside rather than outside, she looked at her colleague as if to say we were bothering her terribly (we almost left at that point). She was so rude that we didn't dare ask her for anything ;) Luckily, her very friendly colleague then took care of us :)

14/07/2026: Great place. I went for the famous cassoulet (amazing!) and discovered plenty of other dishes. The wine list is exceptional. We had two nice burgundy (white and red) and some good digestives to finish. Service was amazing, looks like one person handling everything but super efficient, fast and friendly!!!

04/06/2026: A true culinary revelation! Everything I tried was on another level, but the tomato and sardine tart deserves special mention. It is, without exaggeration, food fit for the gods; the perfect balance between the sweetness of the tomato, the smoky touch, and the perfect crispness of the pastry. A true work of art that makes you want to return instantly! I recommend it 100/10.

20/05/2026: We had an absolutely incredible dining experience at Le Pressoir d’Argent! We chose the 5-course tasting menu, and from the moment we arrived, the team made us feel exceptionally well looked after. I am pregnant, and the level of care and attention they showed was truly outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble — every dish containing raw ingredients was thoughtfully adapted or replaced without hesitation, allowing me to fully enjoy the experience without any concern. The service struck the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. The team was not only attentive and highly knowledgeable, but also genuinely funny, kind, and incredibly understanding, which made the whole evening feel relaxed and special. The food itself was simply sublime — beautifully presented, creative, and absolutely delicious from start to finish. It was a truly wonderful and memorable evening for my partner's birthday, and one we will not forget. A very special Michelin-star dining experience that we would wholeheartedly recommend.

31/07/2026: It's rather difficult for me to rate this place. Indeed, La Tupina is undeniably a tourist restaurant, with prices that are excessive considering its location on a rather unremarkable street, and cuisine that, while good, doesn't quite reach a certain level in my opinion. However, this Bordeaux institution does have many qualities. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, the fireplace cooking adds undeniable charm, the complimentary appetizers and petits fours are very welcome, and above all, the menu features Bordeaux specialties that have become extremely difficult to find these days. For that reason alone, the restaurant deserves praise. Personally, I started with an egg with piperade. It was good, but too oily for my taste. I then tried a true institution: lamprey à la bordelaise. It was excellent. The rich, deep sauce brought out all the complexity of the red wine, the vegetables were perfectly tender, and the lamprey, delicately prepared, offered a remarkable marriage of its briny notes and the intensity of the sauce. A truly top-notch dish… although, at nearly €50, one has the right to expect the same. On the other hand, the portions are particularly generous: you are served an entire casserole dish. My advice is therefore simple: if you are alone, order only this dish; it constitutes a complete meal in itself. If there are two of you, it can be very wise to share it, accompanied by a starter or dessert. My only real complaint concerns the side dish. A simple slice of toasted bread is served with the dish, whereas a little rice, or at least the option to order some, would allow one to fully appreciate this exceptional sauce without wasting a drop.
