11/08/2026: Fantastic!! The staff was lovely and attentive. I needed a Doliprane (paracetamol) which I didn't have, and the waiter found it for me – a huge thank you to him!! There were three of us. We ate very well: one salmon escalope with their famous and excellent sauce, and two butcher's cuts cooked to perfection just as we had requested. They were also very friendly and humorous, and the gourmet coffee was a nice touch. They even gave us an extra profiterole instead of the tiramisu – thank you again! I highly recommend this place. We'll be back!!

09/08/2026: Takeout order impossible because no one answers the phone. So we went there in person: the waiter walked past us four times without the slightest reaction. The manager finally intervened, only to tell us they were too busy and therefore couldn't accept a takeout order. Very disappointing: no respect for sales conditions or customer service, and no answer on the phone.

18/07/2026: Chicken, duck, or beef. Order it and enjoy! It comes with fries and a fresh salad. And for those who don't want to waste water: unlimited water, just like any French restaurant.

25/07/2026: A superb restaurant located on the banks of the Gironde estuary, with a menu featuring homemade dishes, prepared by a top-notch chef. The service is very good and quite quick. This restaurant boasts a lovely terrace, but beware of the mosquitoes at sunset; they're an invasion. The owner even provides mosquito repellent because there are so many. Don't let that deter you, though, and go without hesitation; you won't be disappointed!

10/07/2026: A real gem! Nikodème Café is so much more than just a café: it's a vibrant community hub where you feel welcomed like a friend. Between the board games, the thrift store brimming with treasures, and the warm atmosphere, you lose all track of time. The volunteers are incredibly kind, and the spirit of camaraderie is palpable as soon as you walk through the door. A must-visit!

15/08/2026: Lovely location, and nice wines but the service wasn't that great. When you see one of the waiter filling up her own flask of water with the cold caraffe from the fridge and they serve you a fresh caraffe but not cold, you start to worry about the service and also everywhere we have been in Bordeaux they show you the bottle of wine you have by the glass and here they do not. I felt little bit let down compared with the standards in Bordeaux.

A diverse selection of drinks, primarily wine, and platters featuring high-quality products. The possibility of expanding your wine cellar with expert advice. A relaxed yet refined atmosphere, where you feel valued. A big thank you. In my humble opinion, it's rare to find a place in Bordeaux that combines these aspects, not just a purely commercial one.

09/08/2026: Avoid this place if you're visiting Arcachon. The staff is friendly, but the food (the most important thing for a restaurant) is really poor quality. The desserts are clearly mass-produced and sugary. The ice cream, for example, is just syrup. And in the small mixed glass cups, there's always water at the bottom… It's anecdotal in itself, but it still shows the restaurant's quality. Because if even the basics aren't there, what can you expect? I'm talking about the pepper, which is served in a plastic container (a pepper mill, is that a luxury??), and which looks more like sand than real pepper 🤷. As for the main courses, the fries were really hard, almost frozen (although they were hot). Given the simplicity of the dish, the burgers were simply awful. Not only are they tiny, but there's absolutely no effort put into the presentation. I didn't try the buffet, but from what I saw, it's as basic as it gets, with very little choice, unless you like sliced ​​Cochonou sausage. I really don't understand how there can be so many positive reviews, apart from those posted by local regulars (I get the impression that they make up the majority of the clientele). For a few days in Arcachon, there are so many better options. I deeply regret ever going there.

22/07/2026: I found it somewhat by chance and luck. It's the kind of place I like: a casual atmosphere with very friendly regulars, everyone very friendly and welcoming. The food was very good, from entrees to dessert (the mussels are fantastic), and the owner was very kind and cheerful. The background music was also very pleasant and at the right volume. If you see any negative reviews, they're from people who don't understand good manners and think they're right at home in a restaurant (we had an example of this just yesterday).
