15/06/2026: Good location, staff generally warm and welcoming. Visited in June 2026. I'm a self-employed nurse in the town of Bègles and I wanted to buy a bottle of water during the heatwave between patients. I was charged €5 for a bottle of Perrier. Even at airports, it's not that priced. It's probably a case of taking advantage of the heatwave to inflate water prices... Too bad. I won't be going back.

02/05/2026: My wife and her colleagues from the town hall went to this restaurant on Wednesday, a place we'd frequented for several years for coffee after our walks in downtown Bordeaux. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was cold, without a smile or any real attention, especially from a young brunette woman. My wife and her colleagues had forgotten to make a reservation, which can happen, but a little more cordiality would have been appreciated nonetheless. The wait to order was particularly long, only to receive a mistake with one of the dishes. After so much time, this is hard to accept. When it came time to pay, the prices seemed quite high considering the quality of the food. The dishes tasted okay, but the presentation left much to be desired, giving an impression of carelessness. I don't want to criticize the establishment, but there are clearly areas for improvement. A disappointing experience that doesn't make us want to return anytime soon.

02/06/2026: A cook who clearly doesn't know how to cook, but who undoubtedly means well, is clearly not a professional. The same goes for the waiters; I had to get up several times to order. The food was expensive and not good. It deserves a zero. The only positive point is the location.

16/05/2026: Electric roulette, blackjack with a dealer, and a few other machines, but surprisingly, it's all quite small. There's also a restaurant and bar area with a lovely swimming pool.

My wife had a steak full of gristle and my coq au vin was tough and the cut of chicken was mostly a back. Sauce was not the deep, savory, robust stew I was expecting but a weak, lackluster, bland mess. Prices are kind of high as expected in a tourist area. Indicative of the care taken by the staff...service was fine, the bathroom had no towels, paper towels or working hand dryer. There was an employee napping on a bench next to the bathroom. As I said...for drinks probably fine, for food, no. _____ If you come to have a beer or a glass of wine and enjoy the location on the square, you shouldn't be disappointed. If you come to eat, I advise you to go elsewhere. My wife had a steak full of gristle and my coq au vin was tough; The chicken was mostly from the back. The sauce wasn't the rich, flavorful, and robust stew I'd expected, but a bland, tasteless, and uninteresting concoction. The prices are quite high, as one might expect in a tourist area. This speaks volumes about the staff's attention to detail... The service was adequate, but the restrooms had no towels, paper towels, or working hand dryers. An employee was napping on a bench next to the restrooms.
