09/07/2025: Great spot for a lavish drink or a gourmet lunch, the best vegan burger in the region! I might come back just for the gratin. The welcome has been excellent since the reopening.

04/07/2025: Honestly brilliant. Having lived in Beglès for a decade, I've known Le Poulailler for a long time now. It's an institution, even though I used to go there less and less... BUT since the restaurant took over, I can only recommend stopping by to eat (special mention to the vegetarian buns and the chicken salad!), have a coffee in the fresh air, or just relax on Friday evenings! Thanks to Stas and Léa, it's a real hit for me! Value for money, delicious food, friendly atmosphere, and occasional events! We missed it, thank you, thank you.

30/09/2024: Reception a little cold without really finding a reservation made by email although validated... Customers without reservations took it for their rank. Either. Careful and original dishes. Tips for pairing wine. Pleasant room, few tables so it's almost intimate. Service with good timing but we felt a little pressure. Bad day? Incorrect addition with an extra coffee but we will say that it was the little extra.

20/01/2026: Good experience at this place for lunch 🍽️. Excellent welcome from a waiter wearing a cap, who was very attentive and made sure everything went smoothly for the customers, which was very pleasant. I had an artichoke starter and an omelet with Fourme d'Ambert cheese for my main course; it was good but not exceptional! It's very busy, so it's best to book.

16/12/2025: A frosty welcome, no menu, no advice, I order a glass of Chivas, served in a cognac glass, €15... Indeed, I won't see that "anywhere else"!

24/11/2024: A pleasant and cozy place for a Sunday family lunch. The setting is very beautiful. The comforting fireplace. We took the menu for 48€, very good, a small downside just in the fact that the excellent parsnip puree is included in the starter and to accompany the fish. Thank you for being open on Sunday.

20/06/2025: Hello, I came on Sunday afternoon, June 15th, to buy two gifts at the store at 34 rue St. James. I'm writing to you because I'm very skeptical... and very jaded... When I went through the checkout, I clearly stated that I needed two gift packages for two birthdays. They showed me a nice pink and white package, which I paid for, but they had already charged me. Then, oh no, finally, if it's for two different little girls, Okay, let's separate the gifts. The first, a kind of transparent white envelope... the saleswoman apologizes, okay. The second is a mug in a square package. She takes out a brown envelope, puts the package inside—which is too big for the envelope—cuts off the top, and puts a sticker inside. I'm perplexed... I honestly allow myself to say to her: "Well, it's average, it's for a little girl's birthday, it doesn't look very birthday-like and the package...is a bit ugly, you know"...(without malice, with a little smile, tilting her head a little to the side and inviting her to think, that kind of attitude) At that, she, very offended, tells me that I'm mean, that it's not nice at all of me...that she's going to the extra trouble to make me this package and that she doesn't have to do it... (No kidding??? Should I have gone into raptures???) And insisting several times, without listening to me, that I don't want to give it like that, nor in front of other mothers. At one point, I got annoyed when the young lady retorted that, and I quote: "Generally, people come to us, buy a gift, then go to h**a to buy some gifts and make their own." At that point, her colleague arrived and took over, which I thought was great. But she decided to side with her without listening to me either. Tired, I asked for a refund. In the end, they gave me the lovely gift I'd originally given. I left with my children, with a very annoyed "Have a nice Sunday," which says it all... plus comments behind my back as I left... Very unpleasant. Frankly, I was furious. My message to the manager, and perhaps to these two people who didn't understand where they worked. It's a suggestion... You can do what you want with it: When you're a store like yours, with the name you want to forge, a strong and recognizable identity, based on sharp and stylish choices: YES, people expect to receive a gift package from your store, and in the image of your store. The mindset of your customers who take the trouble to come to your store, on a side street off the main roads, is this: I didn't buy a gift in a hurry somewhere else between two errands while buying milk and laundry detergent. I took the time for these little girls, to go to the right place, to look for gifts for them, personalized, with a beautiful package that I'll be happy to give them. Through this gift, we show that we didn't go to any ordinary store. And we pay a little more than elsewhere for that. Also: That we go to a local store, not a chain store. But above all, when we pay a premium price for an item that's "above the price" at your store, YES we expect to be listened to and well received with a well-packaged item. As for the young lady, it would be good to avoid the comments and go to the competitor's store if I'm there...and to be honest with myself. I came to your store to be received with care. There you go, I really wanted to explain to you the impact of such a sale. I took the time to write you this message. I'm giving it one star for this mishap. The store itself is worth 5 stars. But despite everything, after this experience, it gives: -message received 5 out of 5 - Upcoming birthday gifts: Go to Chez h**a, they have gift wrapping, 10 birthdays per year for 2 children - Best regards, And Happy Thursday.
