03/09/2024: Pleasant surprise! Very quiet and very clean room with a very pretty terrace. We had an absolutely divine night. It is a haven of peace. The hosts are attentive, very kind and simple... only positive things for our stay in Blaye. We are delighted with it. Our hotel for our future nights and stays. I highly recommend.
27/08/2024: Sweet accommodation for a break in the Médoc. Perfect for corporate travel too. Impeccable welcome and services. Discreet. The owners are attentive. Small establishment. Very close to the ferry to cross the Gironde (the widest estuary in Europe) or to visit the Domaines de Blaye. Very good accommodation option. Thanks for everything.

The starter buffet is very good, but the further you go in the service, the less it is refilled, I advise you to arrive early.
The rest is good, the service fast.
17/07/2024: Very good meal, but ruined by the owner (probably) who does not hesitate to yell at her waitress in front of the customers to the point of making her cry. The scene lasted a good ten minutes. It is unacceptable to treat your employees in this way and it is a shame that no one from the staff intervened to calm things down.
Bravo to this young waitress (brunette with glasses) who was pleasant throughout the service and who nevertheless knew how to take charge of everything. It must be difficult to work in these conditions. Think about your well-being first and foremost.

12/09/2024: Today I forgot my wallet, it happens.
I found a 1 euro coin at the bottom of my bag.
I asked the baker if he had a baguette or bread for 1 euro because that was all I had. She gave me the few cents I was missing without question. It happens but it’s remarkable. Thanks again. And what’s more, the bread is delicious!! Good day.

02/09/2024: Quality price too overrated in terms of comments. Out of stock of certain dishes, offers us something else and comes back to us to tell us more than one dish out of two as well... 132 euros including a small glass of wine each, two starters, two main courses, and a plate of cheese which replaces dessert at 14 euros (3 small slices). Compared to the service and the price, it's really not 5 out of 5 for a loving couple.

29/09/2024: We ordered croquettes and a couple drinks. The service was great and the food was cooked well. We liked the sauce that was served with the croquettes. Le Riva had a good selection of beers and cocktails, although their selection of ciders was limited. Definitely recommend.
26/09/2024: Very unpleasant welcome from the (young) boss, she annoys everyone and the word is weak, it's a disaster TO FEE! And to think that I was a loyal customer!!! She doesn't like reservations of 8 people! dear consumers like me walk a little further and you have the Makila and the Trattoria (or the maritime café) with the same view of the Chaban bridge and much nicer teams

16/10/2024: There are very tasty vegan and vegetarian pizzas, and the Salad du Chevre was also very tasty. The mousse au chocolat and the chocolate cake are also a delight 🥰
We were always served politely and quickly, even at sunset when the restaurant was full. It's understandable that when the restaurant is full and there are lots of customers, you sometimes wait a little longer at the Emporter than normal! WiFi was always great there, but unfortunately it is no longer available there. Maybe because some people sat for hours with their laptop in front of their espresso.
A great restaurant, the first route after we arrive there always leads here 🩷

19/09/2024: Slightly mixed experience. The interior is a bit noisy. With the door open, we hear the sounds of the tram and traffic as well as the sounds of the bar near the room: ice crushing, mixing. The dishes were quite good but the dessert was extremely disappointing for the price. We paid 16 euros for a gourmet plate which felt like industrial cakes. It was dry without flavor without creativity. A cookie, a cookie with lemon. It was clearly not worth the price paid. I think that even Picard offers much more delicious desserts where I could have enjoyed them. However, the restaurant has potential. We will try again on occasion but without dessert.

07/09/2024: The mussel preparations are really not great. Flavorless mussels marinière, without white wine. Cream mussels with pure crème fraîche in large ladles. Honestly for a mussels restaurant it's really bad.
Friendly waitresses but long service even though the restaurant was not full.
07/09/2024: Always excellent cuisine for a beachside setting, the menu has been faithful for years. Warm tavern atmosphere with the sunset for dessert

17/09/2024: The waiter was very friendly, the place on the terrace, impeccable....however very disappointed with the menu of the day! Chistorra....2 sausages with 2 potatoes for main course + crumble for dessert for €19.90...heavy price for what's on the plate!
