26/12/2025: I booked a room at this establishment for Christmas Eve to avoid driving. Room #2, on the first floor, cost €50. What a nightmare. I only spent 30 minutes there before having to leave and take a taxi home (at nighttime rates). The mattress and sheets were infested with bedbugs, they were moving everywhere, and I have bites all over my body, as confirmed by a medical report. The room was in a deplorable, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable state. I immediately contacted the establishment to report this situation. The only response I received was: "Thank you for letting us know." When I asked for a refund for the night I obviously didn't spend there, they replied: "It's too late, you've already paid." A total lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. This establishment should be avoided at all costs. For €50, it's likely to cost them much more than expected.

30/10/2025: The place is very pretty, it's a shame the image is misleading. The welcome was terrible, as if we weren't welcome. The price is high for the quality of the galette. The meal was tasteless and soulless. Avoid at all costs.

01/01/2026: The meal was very good, away from the hustle and bustle of the docks, and the prices were more than reasonable; the buffet was very nice.

09/09/2025: No humanity or consideration. While visiting, I asked to use the restroom quickly because I was on my period. I was curtly told (by another woman): "This isn't a public restroom." I understand the situation, but the least they could have done would have been to speak to me properly. Such disrespect is unacceptable.

17/03/2026: I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing. The welcome was very cold, and the waiter was particularly rude: no response to my greeting, no consideration when taking my order, and an overall unpleasant attitude. As for the food, the club sandwiches were served cold, which is a shame. I usually enjoy this place, but this time, the service really ruined the experience.

14/03/2026: I can't give a negative rating for the service, which is a shame. I placed my order at 6:10 PM for 7:15 PM. When I arrived at the bakery, the waitress informed me, with all the courtesy of a prison guard, that she had just cancelled my order. Without any reason or warning, of course. Perhaps she was too lazy to serve, but if you don't know the meaning of the word "courtesy," you shouldn't work in retail. And above all, you should inform customers before they come to pick up their orders; it's the least you can do. You don't cancel once they've arrived, talking down to them and saying it's 7:15 PM, so it's too late to pick up an order... I should point out that the order was still debited from my account...

26/09/2025: Good value for money, depending on the historic site of course. Excellent daily special and tasty dessert. All for €25. It's not cheaper in St. Emilion.

12/10/2025: A restaurant that could have potential, but unfortunately the service and the owner are deplorable. I personally would avoid it, as I was a chef at one time.

11/10/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant, by the sea (super nice view). For Mother's Day. The owner's welcome was very pleasant, the menu was excellent, the products were very fresh, the plate was generous and plentiful (even a little too much, I had trouble finishing it!!) and for dessert he even added more and offered coffee!! I will return with great pleasure and I highly recommend it.

07/07/2025: Bland tartare for €19. A mushy, flavorless meat. I didn't know capers could be so bland. I tried my friends' sirloin steak. I'm not a butcher, but it seemed tough to chew and cut, and definitely underseasoned... Industrial salad and sauce from a sachet. On the other hand, the service was fast (the kitchen mustn't be putting too much thought into it, in my opinion). In short, really give it a miss; it's expensive and unpleasant if you like food. The fries were good and the restaurant was well decorated; it generally did the job of a McDonald's. (Sorry for the mid-meal photos, but it wasn't any more appetizing than when the actual dish arrived.)

07/07/2025: Beware, trap! They deliberately place a Badoit at each table. Since we didn't order it, we naturally assumed it was free. We only drank half. What a surprise when, when it came time to pay, we were told we had to pay €6 for a bottle of sparkling water. It's shameful.

27/01/2026: Food poisoning... It's a bit of a scandal, especially considering the price. The servers are unpleasant and the hot dog is a disgrace; that's why I'm writing this review—it's one thing too many, because it's unacceptable! I'm also shocked that I can't even get a coffee anymore because the staff ignores customers. I've never seen anything like it, never. I'm appalled by this lack of professionalism.
