21/04/2026: I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat it. However, the cocktails are good, and the Moscow Mules are well-made. The atmosphere on the terrace is pleasant, and the service is quite efficient.
19/04/2026: So, I paid €4.50 for apricot juice in a glass bottle that arrived already opened, plus it had no label. It's outrageous to do that, and even worse, it was poorly done because there were still bits of glue from the old label. A real rip-off…

26/04/2026: It's a shame that the two terraces for the bar weren't open on a Sunday afternoon, especially since there were people waiting and no one was having lunch anymore. Otherwise, the location and setting are excellent.
24/04/2026: Extremely slow service and not very attentive (at least if you sit outside). It’s nice to sit and drink something in the park but that’s about it.

20/04/2026: Excellent family-run restaurant! The staff is very friendly and the service efficient. You immediately feel the welcoming atmosphere. The dishes are homemade, with a special mention for the very fresh oysters. The homemade desserts perfectly complement the meal. A wonderful discovery, I highly recommend it!
18/04/2026: A restaurant with traditional decor, homemade cuisine, and perfectly prepared fish. The staff is welcoming, smiling, and attentive despite a busy schedule – well done! I highly recommend this place with its view of the bay and the dune.

22/03/2026: The meal was good but wasn't ready to be served. They had to reheat our Camembert, which hadn't melted, and the fries were cold. They tasted like they'd been reheated several times, and were mealy. It was a real shame. The same thing happened to our neighbor at the next table; they had to reheat his cold dish in the microwave almost as soon as it was served. Only three dishes were available out of about ten on the menu. The atmosphere wasn't pleasant, and there was an intimidating dog inside the restaurant. The dining room is very small, making it difficult to move between the tables and the kitchen. There were no more than ten of us in the restaurant at the time, and I think it could have been much better with some organization and a smile. It's a real shame because it's a beautiful place that makes you want to spend a lovely time there.

07/12/2025: I came to eat at this restaurant on Thursday at lunchtime, it was great! The appetizer and dessert buffet was fantastic, as well as four main courses to choose from—a real treat! I highly recommend this restaurant.

The recommendations were excellent, accurate, and precise—everything you could expect from true professionals. As for the quality of the meal, it was flawless. I was 100% satisfied, hence this review. We will definitely be back.

17/04/2026: Up until now, it had been pretty nice, but today we asked for a carafe of water to go with a Coke and two fruit syrup drinks. The waitress's response: NO. Not another word... We initially thought it was a joke... but nothing came of it. We ended up asking another waiter, who explained that they didn't always give out carafes of water because everyone was asking for them, but that a glass of water was fine, which suited us perfectly. But honestly, this "NO" left us perplexed; we deserved at least an explanation. Besides, refusing water isn't exactly standard practice. At worst, they could charge for it, but refusing to serve water... that's odd.
17/04/2026: One evening, dinner. The waiter was cool and friendly. He was busy, serving both the terrace and the indoor dining area. The main course was decent, nicely presented, and the location was ideal, near Place Gambetta. There was background music. The napkins had the dishes on them; I would have put the desserts on them... 😉 We enjoyed it.

04/04/2026: The bread is very good and the service is generally friendly, but tonight I went to buy 16 baguettes as usual (I freeze them) and they told me that from now on I'll have to call and reserve… even though there were plenty of baguettes available… Oh well, I'll go to Marie Blachère then, because I'm not going to bother calling every two weeks for baguettes… what a shame, we loved Ange…

01/04/2026: I came for takeout, and was initially greeted by a waiter with a deep but professional voice. After much discussion about what was available for takeout, I finally decided what to order. Meanwhile, a woman, presumably the manager, intervened and wanted to start the whole process over. This resulted in a flurry of activity: she wanted to know, I wanted to explain, and the bartender wanted to emphasize that everything was fine. I placed my order, was told to expect a 20-minute wait, ordered a beer, and tried to find a table while I waited. The manager reminded me that I couldn't sit there as it was reserved for customers. Apparently, I'm not a customer in her eyes. She directed me to a high table near the entrance, a spot usually reserved for the security guard or the waiter, located between the kitchen and the entrance—a perfect spot for someone who wants to feel excluded. I told the waiter I'd prefer to sit somewhere else because I wasn't comfortable in that place, and he agreed. So I sat down at another table next to the bar. No sooner had I sat down than the same manager came running up to tell me it wasn't possible. It has to be said, the restaurant was full; out of roughly 220 seats, there were only 5 customers! I told her that her colleague was fine with me sitting there, and I heard her whisper to him and the other waitress that we shouldn't do that. Apparently, she thinks she knows everything about how hospitality should be managed (that's sarcasm, in case she takes it literally). Some people's life goal is to go to the moon, while others' is to show they're in charge. "A chef is made for a chef," Chirac said. My beer arrived two minutes later, two-thirds beer and one-third foam. I think the waitress is still getting the hang of things. Five minutes later, the order was ready. A ten-minute wait instead of the promised twenty minutes—tough luck, I had to finish my beer as quickly as possible. The waiter, in a hurried tone, like someone who didn't really want to talk, told me the bill: 44 euros. I paid! And I took my order, happy to escape this atmosphere that made me feel unwelcome. Back home, no luck, no cutlery, no napkins, and I was told to eat with my hands. A return to basics, some might say. The price you pay for poor service, I'd say. Luckily, the food was good, which made me realize that at least the chef wasn't judging. A little advice for this suburban restaurant owner (related to the restaurant's location, of course 🤨): Focus on the quality of service rather than judging customers based on appearance. Otherwise, become a bouncer in a nightclub. There are other ways to boost your self-esteem than using others to soothe your neuroses. (To whom it may concern!)

07/07/2025: Bland tartare for €19. A mushy, flavorless meat. I didn't know capers could be so bland. I tried my friends' sirloin steak. I'm not a butcher, but it seemed tough to chew and cut, and definitely underseasoned... Industrial salad and sauce from a sachet. On the other hand, the service was fast (the kitchen mustn't be putting too much thought into it, in my opinion). In short, really give it a miss; it's expensive and unpleasant if you like food. The fries were good and the restaurant was well decorated; it generally did the job of a McDonald's. (Sorry for the mid-meal photos, but it wasn't any more appetizing than when the actual dish arrived.)
07/07/2025: Beware, trap! They deliberately place a Badoit at each table. Since we didn't order it, we naturally assumed it was free. We only drank half. What a surprise when, when it came time to pay, we were told we had to pay €6 for a bottle of sparkling water. It's shameful.
