20/09/2025: Unfortunately, I have to say that the mussels aux frites weren't particularly good. They were small and shriveled, and the broth was noticeably oversalted. The day before yesterday, we were at the roundabout, 10 meters away at Péchés aux Gourmands, and the mussels were better prepared, fresher, and with a broth you'd want to spoon out the whole thing. Unfortunately, not a good review! It was slightly cheaper next door, and the rosé was even better.

12/09/2025: They're selling old, dried-out baguettes here in the evening. It's a disgrace! That's completely unacceptable, because in France, a baguette is a way of life!

22/02/2026: It took 30 minutes to be served. No one greeted us upon arrival. The crepes are made with pre-packaged batter. They asked us to pay to leave, and the waffles were frozen. In short, find another place along your route.

22/02/2026: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! We arrived, and after 10 minutes, no one had come to see us. We flagged down a waiter to ask for a menu (we seemed to be bothering him). We ordered a Fuztea and a Bueno waffle. The waffle was taken out frozen right in front of us, put directly into the waffle iron, with a measly drizzle of store-bought sauce, and the price was €5.50! And let's not forget that we had to ask three times for a glass of water. I think making waffle batter takes 2 minutes, and it's not even peak season! They should change careers if they're going to serve this quality of food.

24/02/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The service is sloppy, the waitresses pretend not to see us, and after waiting about thirty minutes at a table, we order sandwiches and then wait another 40 minutes to receive a radioactive hot dog sausage (somewhere between bright red and fluorescent orange) and three pieces of salami in half a baguette. The staff is unfriendly and in no hurry to serve the few customers they have left. Even as I'm writing this, an elderly couple comes to the counter to ask why no one has come to see them after waiting 30-40 minutes. In short, they're right across from the train station, so they take advantage of the situation to complain, but don't be fools like we were; just walk away to avoid this "bar" overflowing with bad manners.

21/02/2026: A huge thank you to the hotel owner for helping us out at the last minute by renting us a room for the three of us (my husband, my daughter, and me) and our dog. The rooms are a bit dated but clean, and the location next to the train station is convenient.

27/08/2025: I'm definitely giving it one star because it's the minimum, but I wouldn't even give it 1 star. I came by scooter, it was raining, I parked it at the back of the restaurant so as not to disturb the people who were there... A very unpleasant owner who rudely told me to get my scooter out. Not even a little human. I explained to her that it was a €1,000 scooter, and she was unpleasant, even violent in her approach. I remained calm... It's disastrous that a manager behaves like this. I'm disappointed. I'll never come back to this bar.

07/03/2026: One star because the coffee was good, but that's the only redeeming quality. The mussels were more shells than mussels, the "Sète platter" consisted of four measly mussels straight from a can in a glass of oil, and the tartlet was dry and empty inside. We should have checked the reviews beforehand. I hesitated between this and the penne, but judging by the neighboring table who didn't even touch it, it must have been delicious. 🤨 €80 to eat overlooking the canal, but frankly, sometimes a good old-fashioned ham and butter sandwich is better.

23/02/2026: Disappointed, a €25 set menu that's definitely not worth the price! Tourist trap! Goat's cheese salad with a tiny piece of goat cheese on a slice of over-toasted bread, and cuttlefish in a rouille sauce that tasted burnt. Don't complain if your restaurant isn't doing well; it's outrageous to rip people off like that!

21/10/2025: Very average but expensive ice cream (€5.50 for two scoops). No whipped cream available because they hadn't made any that day.

31/12/2025: This is nothing like an inn, it's more like a flea market. The hygiene is appalling, and the clientele is off-putting... in short, steer clear to avoid gastroenteritis at all costs. A shame, considering the previous owners. We'll wait for the next restaurateurs worthy of the name.

15/09/2025: It would be good to revisit the very essence of the word "family" in this home! Hygiene and sanitation urgently need to be reviewed. Stay away, too bad for Ferrals, who deserved better hosts. A deeply disappointed customer whom you will not see again.
