29/08/2024: Very warm welcome for dinner on a Sunday evening in a very clean and simple room. We were surprised to taste delicious, fresh dishes with tasty accompaniments and exquisite and copious morel and Savagnin sauces! The homemade floating island was very very good. Very good value for money. Don’t hesitate to stop there, you won’t be disappointed.

26/08/2024: A beautiful summer day led us to stop to eat at the Cerf restaurant in Pont du Navoy. Without reservation we found a table. Smiling and relaxed service, we ordered and were served quickly. The owner is pleasant, always ready to provide information and explain, proud of the good local products that the restaurant uses. Everything was very good, nicely presented and met our expectations. Prices are reasonable... To see in winter... I would then be tempted by a "local colors" dish with Morteau sausage. With the heat of that day it was a refreshing stop in a restaurant serving simple and tasty Franche-Comté cuisine.

22/08/2024: A last minute reservation.... A kind and friendly welcome.... A menu...at the top! Unbeatable value for money! It's good, it's hot, it's homemade....top service...no need to ask for bread or another carafe of water...(the eye of the pros!) in fact ..nothing to say...except a huge thank you and a big congratulations!

24/08/2024: Nous avons participe à la soirée "copains comme cochons", au menu : cochon de lait cuit au fumoir et pommes de terre cuites au four, un régal ! Les proportions sont copieuses et les desserts maison sont excellents. L'ambiance est chaleureuse et le chef est fort sympathique. Les prix sont raisonnables. Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir si nous passons par Foncine-le-Haut. Pensez à réserver !

11/06/2024: Nous avons passé une soirée entre amis Il y avait des normands ,des gens d’agen ,de Corbeil ,et des jurassiens Nous avons eu une fondue au comté exceptionnelle avec de la charcuterie et une salade Un moment convivial Ce sera pour nous une soirée inoubliable À refaire

12/09/2024: Nous avons passé quelques jours dans le Jura mi septembre et notre plus belle découverte à été votre restaurant ! Que des bons plats, authentiques, délicieux, un accueil très sympa, des sourires... C'est sûr, on reviendra ! Et nous reprendrons 2 desserts ! Bien amicalement, les 2 petites savoyardes... 😉☀️

03/08/2024: Op het eerste zicht niet erg veelbelovend, maar mooie suggestiekaart. Zeer goed gegeten, zowel de gamba’s als de zwezeriken correct klaar gemaakt. Leuk terras, vriendelijke bediening. Enkel de wijnkaart mocht iets uitgebreider en lokaler.

27/08/2024: We were not certain where we would be stopping for lunch - we were prepared for almost anything, and what a surprise when we spied this restaurant! We had not done our TripAdvisor homework, so we just took a chance. And it was just great! The staff is so pleasant, the view from the dining room is so pretty, and the cuisine is so tasty. We took the menu - salmon terrine and chicken terrine for starters; for the main course, trout filet; and for dessert, an assortment of sorbets and the peche cardinale (not to be missed!), plus a glass of Arbois white wine. This was perhaps a bigger meal than we had expected for lunch - it is filling - particularly as we had more driving to do, but it was so good, and our time here was so relaxing and enjoyable, that it turned out to be the best place we could have stopped.

21/08/2024: Nous avons été très bien accueilli à l’auberge par 2 dames fort charmantes et sympathiques. Les chambres sont sobres et propres, un peu bruyantes côté route, mais ce n’est pas très dérangeant. Le soir vous pouvez manger soit sur la terrasse qui donne sur un beau jardin, paradis des mésanges et des rouges-gorges, soit dans la salle à manger très agréable. Cuisine sans fausses notes, simple mais très goûteuse. Nous nous sommes régalés. Une très belle adresse lors de votre passage dans le Jura…

16/09/2024: Passing through the restaurant: warm welcome. Very pleasant waitress, smiling and professional (pretty to boot). The very pleasant oenologist offers an exceptional wine list. The dishes are worthy of a gourmet restaurant and the cheese cart is exceptional. The setting is magnificent. I will come back and recommend this superb restaurant.
