The setting is magnificent, the menu is tempting, the lunch menu attractive, the dishes are delicious, the presentation is fine and careful, the service is guaranteed, and... the price (of the lunch menu in any case, because that's what I took) is quite attractive. What a lunch! A pure moment of pleasure !

19/03/2024: No welcome when we arrived, we had to take the key to our room alone after instructions sent by text!!! Room OK but stained bedspread, which was changed after complaint. Noise pollution at the foot of the hotel caused by customers of the brasserie located opposite, many noisy young people on the terrace until midnight - one in the morning!!! Too bad for a three star. Decent restaurant although one member of staff is not very friendly. Good dishes overall except the totally tasteless Jura fondue.

31/03/2024: Dear, I would like to send you this letter to express my deep disappointment regarding an incident that occurred during our recent visit to your establishment on March 29, 2024. First of all, allow me to point out that we had a pleasant time at your establishment and that we greatly appreciated the quality of your service as well as the delicacy of your dishes. However, an event occurred at the end of the meal which considerably tainted our experience. In fact, knowing that friends were coming the next day to celebrate a birthday, I asked the sommelier to prepare a bottle of champagne for their aperitif. I was extremely upset to find that this request had been forgotten and that the bottle of champagne was only given to my friends at the end of the meal. This negligence on the part of your team is simply unacceptable, especially for an establishment of your reputation and standing. (1 Michelin guide star and Relais Château…) I am deeply disappointed, I expected impeccable service from your team. In the hope that you give due importance to this incident and that corrective measures are taken to prevent such a situation from happening again in the future.

03/04/2024: How to happily find yourself in a roadside restaurant like in the 70s at the time of Max Meynier. Menu for €15 with homemade aperitif, starter, main course, cheese, dessert, pitcher of wine and coffee. An original and welcoming owner who provides cooking and service. A good time spent by chance during a visit to the Billaude waterfall at lunchtime.

26/03/2024: Nice golf club. The track was not in good condition due to the heavy rain in recent months. Nevertheless, a beautiful and difficult job. Hotel was ok, simple but tasty breakfast. Reception was fine

02/04/2024: I stopped there for a coffee after walking the path around the Hérisson waterfalls. It was raining, there was no one there. However, the team, very jovial and clearly available, was very welcoming, full of humor and rather warm. So yes, frankly, if the opportunity arises once again to be in the region, I will come without hesitation to eat something there.

12/12/2023: A great restaurant in this charming village, the chef, Francois Moureau, is passionate about quality, good regional products that he knows how to sublimate and in a very reasonable price range, we enjoy ourselves, A feast at a low price, a bargain. The service is also very gracious and attentive. The terrace behind in the courtyard garden is a pleasure. the cellar also honors local wines. Be careful to book, some days the restaurant is often full.

03/12/2023: in our village of Bonlieu we are lucky to have a restaurant offering good quality gourmet cuisine, the owners are very friendly and attentive, I had a lovely evening with my family, we will come back...

04/04/2024: I have just had lunch with a group from a senior citizens club. Menu paid 41€: Homemade aperitif with appetizers. No entry. Frogs menu 2 passages. That is approximately 15 to 20 pieces per person. I asked if I could have more, I was told that it was 2 passages no more). Frogs accompanied by a small vegetable flan. Cheese, dessert and coffee. In short, I didn't leave hungry but I find it a bit expensive to eat frogs which are also too grilled. They won't see me again
