19/09/2024: Real local flavors in simple and tasty dishes. We had the comtoise salad and morbiflette pizza. I recommend! The meeting of the premises, almost full room, which in itself is already a good business card. And very affordable prices!

30/08/2024: The bistronomic menu is clearly a dream, the dishes are varied with strong aromatic markers like the grillette that I found in one of my dishes. The setting is relaxing and calm, on the terrace on the banks of the Doubs, perfect. The service is efficient and pleasant despite one of the waitresses who doesn't ask if it went well (it must have been the boss I think). The starter: Truffled Buffalo Bruschetta, Gravlax Salmon, Pesto Rosso and Tomato-Arugula Mix. The pesto rosso was missing from the plate which was a shame. This starter was good but sorely lacked seasoning, especially salt! it was bland bland bland. The starter was also lukewarm. Overall it was limited. The dish: Rosé Duck Breast Skewer, Vitelotte Potato Mousseline, Pan-Fried Foie Gras Escalope, Liquorous Fougerolle Griottines Sauce. The presentation of this dish was amazing in a good way. It was not a potato mousseline but a sort of mille-feuille which was, once again, not seasoned... the pan-fried foie gras was not abundant on the plate but just right, the sweet reduction had great aromatic power, very good. On the other hand, the duck was a thousand miles from being pink, it was much overcooked sole! this is INASIMISSIBLE for a plate at 27€! Mastery of cooking meat is at CAP level. Dessert: Profiteroles. The vanilla ice cream was of very good quality, the choux pastry was not cooked enough because there was soft white dough, a sign of a lack of cooking inside the choux. Summary of this meal, a starter served lukewarm, the cooking of the duck failed, both were not seasoned. I suggest you improve this because given the price of your card it is unacceptable

25/08/2024: J’y suis allé dimanche 25/8/24 nous étions 4 et pourtant pas beaucoup de monde mais attendu plus d une heure pour être service . Je trouve que cela est abusé.. Dommage

27/08/2024: We were not certain where we would be stopping for lunch - we were prepared for almost anything, and what a surprise when we spied this restaurant! We had not done our TripAdvisor homework, so we just took a chance. And it was just great! The staff is so pleasant, the view from the dining room is so pretty, and the cuisine is so tasty. We took the menu - salmon terrine and chicken terrine for starters; for the main course, trout filet; and for dessert, an assortment of sorbets and the peche cardinale (not to be missed!), plus a glass of Arbois white wine. This was perhaps a bigger meal than we had expected for lunch - it is filling - particularly as we had more driving to do, but it was so good, and our time here was so relaxing and enjoyable, that it turned out to be the best place we could have stopped.

21/08/2024: Nous avons été très bien accueilli à l’auberge par 2 dames fort charmantes et sympathiques. Les chambres sont sobres et propres, un peu bruyantes côté route, mais ce n’est pas très dérangeant. Le soir vous pouvez manger soit sur la terrasse qui donne sur un beau jardin, paradis des mésanges et des rouges-gorges, soit dans la salle à manger très agréable. Cuisine sans fausses notes, simple mais très goûteuse. Nous nous sommes régalés. Une très belle adresse lors de votre passage dans le Jura…

25/08/2024: Very good restaurant from starter to coffee. We went there based on TripAdvisor rating with no reservation. We took both a menu with different options. Every dish was really good, made with quality products. I would recommend the tomato Granité dessert, it is a unique experience.

16/09/2024: Passing through the restaurant: warm welcome. Very pleasant waitress, smiling and professional (pretty to boot). The very pleasant oenologist offers an exceptional wine list. The dishes are worthy of a gourmet restaurant and the cheese cart is exceptional. The setting is magnificent. I will come back and recommend this superb restaurant.

24/08/2024: The hotel restaurant has become a guest room and table d’hôte. Pleasant welcome, comfortable room and very good home cooking. Perfect location to go down to the cave and the waterfall. Exceptional view.

23/08/2024: It must have been almost 30 years since I visited this hotel. 30 years later, the hotel has of course been renovated, no more floral wallpaper, but fortunately the charm has been preserved. A personal welcome, as if you were visiting family. Rather at grandma and grandpa's, because the owners are of a blessed age. Respect for these people who put so much passion into their profession. And of course, everything can be better, but at what cost? Do you want a friendly atmosphere, freshly cooked food, are you traveling with your dog? Hurry to this place, a gem that will probably disappear sooner or later...

01/08/2024: Great walk in the woods, around Lac des Pradeaux with Amanda and her huskies, nice and always telling stories with her dogs. She is also a geo and biology teacher, and knows all the plants!!! LOL....Thank you also to Nathalie and Mateo for their kindness and respect towards others. Definitely a must if you are passing through the region. Thanks to her husband Maxime and good luck with their project.

01/09/2024: I had the lunch menu: a huge, very delicious salad followed by succulent trout and a very generous lady white. All this for 25 euros. I don't understand the criticism about the chef. For me it was tasty, local and generous. Coming back from the waterfalls it was great.
