13/05/2026: A wonderful discovery and a very good restaurant. We went on a Monday at lunchtime (not very busy). The food was good and generous with morels. The trout was also very well prepared. The waitress was very friendly and pleasant. The decor is tasteful (and the restrooms are clean). It's worth noting that the setting is very pleasant, near the abbey lake and its church, and the restaurant is next to a parking lot, making it easily accessible. Don't hesitate to go!

19/04/2026: The restaurant has been beautifully renovated, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious! I had the frog leg menu, and the frogs were well-seasoned and perfectly cooked! I highly recommend it!

It's not just an establishment; it's the beating heart of Salins-les-Bains. What makes this place so charming: Pure authenticity: A classic bistro setting with a truly authentic feel. Here, there are no pretenses, just genuine warmth, conviviality, and sharing. For lovers of local products: The wine selection is carefully curated, naturally showcasing the gems of the Jura region (Arbois, Pupillin, etc.). Pair it with a platter of local products (Comté cheese, charcuterie), and you'll be in paradise. The staff's welcome: Relaxed, straightforward service with always helpful advice. You immediately feel at ease, whether you're a local or just passing through after a visit to the Grandes Salines. The decor has been completely redone, adding a touch of modernity while preserving the rustic and unique charm of the place. This Jura restaurant is a real gem, ideal for both tourists and locals! 15/05/2026: An exceptional stay at this 5-star hotel. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and very comfortable. The staff is attentive and caring throughout our stay. The location is calm and peaceful, ideal for relaxation, with a magnificent, expansive garden and an extraordinary swimming pool. A true haven of luxury and serenity.

Top-quality products are served – a special mention for the bread – and the hotel is just a stone's throw from Lake Chalain. It's an ideal starting point for exploring the lakes, the Hérisson Waterfall, or Baume-les-Messieurs.

18/05/2026: Three-day, three-night stay. Warm welcome, our room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was generous. The restaurant offers traditional cuisine with high-quality local produce. Don't hesitate.

24/05/2026: A superb discovery! We visit Dole from time to time, a town we adore. We went to the Circus and Brass Band Festival. I stopped by a little before dinner to make a reservation, and the staff very kindly found us a table on the terrace. This restaurant is a wonderful find: we ate very well, everything was beautifully cooked, the Gascony wine was excellent, and the value for money was very good. Moreover, despite the restaurant being busy and crowded, the staff were very pleasant and handled everything perfectly. For those who complain, it's because they don't know the restaurant business; I suggest they try working in it someday—they're looking for staff everywhere! A big thank you to the staff, and we'll be back very soon! 🙂

17/05/2026: A restaurant brimming with medieval charm, serving delicious and generous portions. We ordered the "gargantuan" salads, and they made a great meal! The service was excellent.

11/05/2026: We were passing through the Jura region with our family and dog, and we stopped at La Finette Taverne d'Arbois for lunch. I highly recommend making a reservation as it's often very busy, but despite this, the service is excellent from start to finish, with minimal waiting. The staff is very professional, friendly, and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Dogs are welcome, a real plus for us. We ate in the vaulted cellar, which adds a lot of charm to the meal. Everything was delicious, the place is clean, the atmosphere is warm, and the organization is impeccable despite the crowds. A truly wonderful place that we wholeheartedly recommend!

09/10/2025: We just had lunch, the tasting menu. An incredible discovery! Excellent flavors, beautiful presentation, and fantastic value for money. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about wines. Highly recommended.

22/09/2025: A wonderful meal with friends in a place that was certainly traditional but with contemporary decor. A very warm welcome from the owner and the gentleman in charge of service, professional and friendly. The 5-course menu was excellent, refined and appropriate for the season, accompanied by the proposed and very well-chosen wine pairing. An excellent address to try again!

27/04/2026: A restaurant and inn that truly lives up to its name. Despite a late room reservation and Christophe's busy schedule—he was hosting distinguished guests privately at his table—he was kind enough to prepare a delicious dinner for me on the spot. The room had a cozy and comfortable bed, the swimming pool was a welcome aperitif after a long drive, and the peaceful, rural surroundings were perfect for a stroll. This is a stop just 5 minutes from the motorway that makes you want to extend your stay! I'll be back! A huge thank you to Christophe and Virginie for their memorable hospitality.

29/04/2026: At Pont de Pointe, stop to admire the potholes from the pontoon. It's certainly a quick visit, but well worth the look.
