09/10/2025: We only had lunch, the gourmet menu. An incredible discovery, excellent flavors, beautiful presentation, and excellent value for money. The owner is an expert on wines. A highly recommended place.

A very warm welcome from the owner and the gentleman in charge of service, professional and friendly. The 5-course menu was excellent, refined and appropriate for the season, accompanied by the proposed and very well-chosen wine pairing. An excellent address to try again!

14/01/2026: A catastrophic experience!! Honestly, where to begin? The Banana Split was an insult to any sweet tooth. The ice cream was so frozen solid that I thought I was biting into a flavored ice cube. No taste whatsoever, just industrial cold. The whipped cream? A joke. A toxic banana-shaped whipped cream that was a disgusting liquid tide, more like cheap shaving foam than cream. It was slimy and absolutely inedible. To top it all off, the water they served had an unbearable chlorine taste, clearly unfiltered. They're even skimping on drinking water! The atmosphere is deadly dull. It's like being in a retirement home's tea room, the music is so bland. If you're looking for the energy of a brasserie, look elsewhere; here, you'll fall asleep on your feet. The service? "Adequate" if you enjoy monotony. It's slow, incredibly boring, and completely lacking in energy. (20 seats inside) I came to have a good time, I left feeling like I was going to a funeral. Never again.

22/11/2025: The welcome was very warm and friendly, but I was disappointed by the salmon and asparagus crepe. I felt like putting out a missing person's notice for the asparagus – there wasn't a single one! However, the banana and chocolate crepe was delicious.

18/11/2025: What a disgrace! I had a reservation, and upon arrival, our table had already been given away. We had to wait 20 minutes at the restaurant entrance for a table; it felt like we were in a doctor's waiting room. The woman who greeted us actually took our order even though we weren't seated. I've never seen anything like it... we certainly won't be back.

The beers on offer were Heineken and Hoogarden, and I was asked for an extra charge because Hoogarden wasn't included in the menu, without being told. For those who would like to treat themselves, move on...

17/01/2026: As always, an excellent experience. Every month, my wife and I treat ourselves to a restaurant outing to unwind from the daily grind (work, children). After trying all the restaurants in Saint-Claude, this is the one we've chosen for our regular meals. The menu changes regularly, and the dishes are always of high quality. Regarding the prices, I don't understand the negative reviews: in our opinion, the value for money is entirely justified. For two people, the bill never exceeds €100, considering the quality of the food. It's important to remember that these prices include the work of the servers and cooks, overhead costs, and the quality of the ingredients. Finally, the service is always impeccable: we have consistently been warmly welcomed and served with professionalism and a smile. Keep it up. Mr. & Mrs. Lefèvre

07/07/2025: Together with my wife, we have eaten at the pizzeria in the Jura for a few years now (we do it every year) we are here for about 5 weeks, at least 1x a week to the pizzeria. Atmosphere great, food good, price attractive! Always time for a chat, top business. And we are used to quite a few restaurants in the EU, it is all cozy French 👍🏾🍷

24/06/2025: A highly recommended address, excellent family cuisine with old-fashioned flavors, including a cheese platter and a French press coffee maker on the table, authentic homemade desserts (increasingly rare), fast and efficient service, unbeatable prices. Beautiful, calm and relaxing country setting.

17/05/2025: A wonderful experience at this lovely, typical Jura farmhouse. The dinner was delicious and plentiful for an incredibly reasonable price! We were able to chat with the manager, who gave us great wine recommendations and introduced us to the region's specialties.
