The children adore him; in fact, they're the ones who choose the restaurant to go see him 😅. Friendly and jovial, it's a pleasure to come to Crocodile's when he's there. This opinion was confirmed verbally to David 😉 The meal was very good. (The ristretto coffee was delicious to finish.)

01/06/2026: While the food was good, the atmosphere ruined everything. If you're not a regular, the owner offers absolutely no welcome. For someone who prides himself on creating a friendly atmosphere, we were completely ignored. We weren't asking him to come and sit at our table, but not even a hello, nothing at all. What a shame!

27/05/2026: A legendary spot for cycling enthusiasts that will delight food lovers. Beautiful decor, a pleasant shaded terrace with a sublime view over the plain. Efficient service. Congratulations on the choice of baker. The bread is extraordinary. We had a wonderful time. The oysters are succulent. The truffle pasta shells are utterly irresistible. The fish dishes are superbly prepared (swordfish and pollock). The Paris-Roubaix pastry and roasted apricots were the perfect ending to a flawless meal. Truly a great find at a very reasonable price.

13/04/2026: A charming, northern French atmosphere in the heart of Mons-en-Pévèle. The chicken casserole with Maroilles cheese was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The waiter was very pleasant and helpful. However, the woman who worked at the reception/cook was less than welcoming. No greeting, and her approach to taking payment was reminiscent of a "give me your money and get out" attitude.

16/05/2026: We had a super delicious meal. We were welcomed incredibly warmly. You can feel the passion of the chef, who greets the guests himself and presents his menu. A special plate was also prepared for our daughter. Highly recommended.

05/04/2026: A few improvements to make: - Avoid pouring the last of the champagne from a bottle and then topping it up with a fresh glass; - Avoid serving the beginning of the foie gras terrine; serve a slice instead; - Incredibly long wait times (we arrived at the restaurant at noon and left at 4 p.m.); - Understaffed: for 16 occupied tables, there were only 4 people, including the chef; - Tables are a bit cramped. - The food is generally simple, and the Easter dessert (praline nest) was tasteless.
