23/11/2025: We received a very warm welcome upon arrival at 1 p.m. with a reservation. We enjoyed an aperitif, a country-style platter (ham, salad, chorizo, and baked Camembert) 👍 We also had a full Welsh rarebit, a salmon Welsh rarebit, a mixed grill (chicken, lamb chop, flank steak, and grilled bacon), and lamb shank 👍😋 And a gourmet coffee 👍 This is a very good restaurant. For the same price per person, we've been to restaurants that were nowhere near this level.

25/01/2026: Definitely not a professional chef in the kitchen! The presentation of the dishes was appalling, the quality was below average, and the prices were outrageous: €26 for a 150g rump steak, and a €42 tasting menu with no choice (seared scallops and lamb shank with ordinary Daucy flageolet beans... do the starter and main course even go together? You'd have to ask the so-called chef!). New potatoes on every plate, exorbitantly expensive drinks, and a mass-produced dessert... they tried to pass themselves off as a gourmet restaurant with crêpes Suzette in the dining room. I watched how they were doing it; it was laughable, an insult to the waiters... The average bill must be around €60 to be served on plastic tablecloths with such poor quality food and service. Do us a favor and don't try to do a job you don't know how to do. A restaurant isn't a money-making machine, given the prices you're charging and the poor quality you're offering. Offer something to those who come through your door; your coefficient should be at the top of the scale, but beware, it never lasts... Best regards

31/08/2025: Ten of us came yesterday at noon, Saturday, to celebrate my in-laws' 55th wedding anniversary! We were kindly seated in the beautiful back room with its lovely fireplace! We were seated at a large square table, which was much nicer for seeing each other than a long table. The decor is magnificent, modern yet very warm! Most of us chose the €40 menu, which offers three different starters (meat, fish, or vegetarian), three different main courses (also meat, fish, or vegetarian), and three different desserts, or the gourmet platter, which includes a small portion of each dessert. The food is delicious and refined. The ingredients are seasonal, and the menu changes regularly, which I greatly appreciate because I always eat seasonal produce. I also think it's fantastic that in a restaurant like this, there's also a vegetarian starter and main course; this isn't the case everywhere, and it's great to have this option! Finally, the two servers who looked after us were truly wonderful, very kind, and cheerful. They had remembered that we were here for our 55th wedding anniversary, and they were kind enough to put candles on my in-laws' desserts! Adorable! My in-laws and all of us had a wonderful time! 24/02/2026: Went there by myself looking to try out their Welsh and it was really good. I tried the Chti Menu to get a full tour of local specialties, best idea I had tonight. I paid 25 for starter/main dish/dessert which was pretty affordable but if you choose independently, it could get a little expensive. Service was really nice and fast, much appreciated. First floor doesn't have much space but you don't feel cramped, rather comfy, with nice vintage and wood decorations. They also have an outdoor terrace and another floor so there's definitely space for you to come and try out their specialties.

28/01/2026: A little gem! Just like the town and its people, it's unpretentious, welcoming, and delicious, with impeccable service. The dishes are high-quality, prepared on-site with excellent ingredients and cooked by the owner herself. A true delight; the food is superb, and the atmosphere is equally wonderful. 14/12/2025: An exceptional discovery! I'd say it's more gourmet than traditional, but you leave feeling more than satisfied! And the service is excellent, very pleasant, and friendly. A perfect egg with truffle and ganciale to start (or rather, to continue, after an unlimited amuse-bouche...), followed by pan-fried sweetbreads with langoustines. Nothing more to say than "see you soon!"

18/12/2025: Another fantastic discovery! A very warm welcome, a lovely and varied selection of excellent products. I had lamb fillet with mashed potatoes, and my colleague had sweetbreads with fries. Both were cooked perfectly. The service was very efficient, friendly, and attentive.

12/12/2025: First visit to La Scène restaurant, and certainly not the last! I tried their guinea fowl stuffed with chestnuts for the first time: a real treat. The meat was perfectly cooked and tender, and the stuffing was very flavorful. The dish was generous and beautifully presented. Pleasant service and a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
