23/09/2024: We had lunch in this restaurant yesterday afternoon. Excellent chicken work, well prepared and well dosed. My friends had other dishes which they found delicious. I recommend...Good welcome, good food, very well located. We didn't know it and we will return there.

28/07/2024: A great surprise. The setting is pleasant, the terrace charming. The menu is limited, which is generally a guarantee of home-made cuisine. Which is confirmed by the dishes which are completely original in addition to being delicious. From starter to dessert, we enjoyed ourselves. The server is also adorable, the service relatively fast. The restaurant is open on a Sunday lunchtime (it's rare to find a good restaurant on that day). Very good value for money. We will come back with pleasure. We recommend this beautiful address!

15/09/2024: Very good restaurant that takes care of its customers. There were 9 of us and we were very well received. Prioritizes quality over quantity and therefore the service is adapted to customers. As for the dishes, they are very good, the products are fresh and of very good quality. I recommend and I will come back to eat. The waiter loves his job and it shows.

18/09/2024: Voilà un restaurant comme on aime. Un estaminet dans son « jus » . Des plats cuisinés maison. Un bon accueil et service. J’adore ce genre d’endroit quand je viens dans les flandres. Profitez en c’est rare de trouver encore ce genre d’endroit. Bien sûr les plats sont très bons. Je recommande.

14/09/2024: Quand on entre, on se retrouve propulsé dans le passé… on peut passer des heures à admirer les décorations ! Nous avons très bien mangé (que dire du « doigt du douanier », 18cm de pur bonheur!), et les patrons sont très sympathiques et accueillants…. Bref, un excellent moment un dimanche midi, nous y retournerons avec les enfants !

26/05/2024: When I call at 8 p.m. to reserve a Saturday evening (3 people) the owner tells me that it is full. We pass by and seeing tables available I push the door. Without a hello she tells me “it’s too late” (sorry the kitchen is closed would have been more appropriate). I ask her if she has a place to recommend, answer “further away”. Too bad we were recommended this table but the welcome and the opening times need to be reviewed…

26/09/2024: Super friendly welcome, the room is decorated in an old style and has an atmosphere (do not go there for a romantic dinner). The dishes were generous and divine. A beautiful, generous cuisine with flavors from the North. A treat. Fast service

25/09/2024: Big mistake, the starters arrived before the aperitif. Taste maroilles croquettes with a chuche mourette, how can I put it... we'll come back for the food and wine pairing! We feel rushed, inviting us to hurry from the start of the meal. No dish is noteworthy. The Fricadelles and croquettes are on par with all the snacks in the region, the pudding is nothing exceptional, the Welshs and gratins are bathed in three times too much cheese, it's disgusting (I liked the ham, once you find it). Otherwise the servers seem very friendly but that doesn't make up for a bad meal. The decor looks nice. I say "in the air" because we are plunged in the dark, the candles are already used on the tables and the customers illuminate the menus with their cell phones but apparently this does not bother the staff. In short, a gigantic disappointment from a Northerner wanting to introduce his wife to regional gastronomy. I wanted a glass of gin to end the evening, it will be betaine citrate.

23/08/2024: I've often had good comments about it so we decided to try it. Table for 5 people. Fast service and attentive waiter. Friendly setting and no parking problems. Small note: wipe dispenser which was empty, at the beginning of the evening, in the toilets so no hand towel. For the rest, don't change anything and I will definitely come back to it.
