I highly recommend it... remember to book. Returned in March 2026... It's nothing like what we experienced before... We left a review on TripAdvisor to describe our disappointing experience... enjoy reading it. It just goes to show that when it comes to restaurants, you shouldn't rely on past experiences or old impressions... you have to try again!!

15/05/2026: We spent two days at this hotel. The staff were very welcoming, smiling, and pleasant. We had a good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, and the night porter was very friendly. We had lunch with a sea view. For dinner, we ate at the restaurant downstairs, which had a lovely setting with excellent food and a wide variety of choices. We would definitely return.

10/05/2026: Very nice, clean hotel. The rooms are large and well-equipped... Close to the sea and the city center... We'll definitely come back... The food in the restaurant was world-class two years ago... Unfortunately, not this time 😞.

The atmosphere was calm, relaxed, and restful. As for the meals we were served, they were delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant truly deserves stars, just like its hotel. Congratulations and thank you to the hostess, the chef, and his team! We had a wonderful time at your restaurant and will definitely be back!

11/04/2026: Passing through during our motorcycle tour, we were pleasantly surprised by this little bistro in the heart of the countryside. What a delight to see kidneys on the menu, and they were delicious too! The menu is simple yet tasty, and the value for money is excellent. This place is well worth a visit and worth venturing outside the center of Bruay.

26/03/2026: We went to eat there last night. As always, it was delicious, the service was excellent, friendly, attentive to customers, a superb new terrace, and very reasonable prices.

24/03/2026: We came on Thursday, a party of four. The restaurant is very clean, nicely decorated, and very well located. The parking lot in the back is very well signposted, a bit small when it's busy, but there are other parking options. The food was plentiful and truly excellent. The service was top-notch, relaxed, and the dishes arrived quite quickly. The menu offers a wide selection of vegetarian dishes, which sets them apart from many restaurants that offer very few. I highly recommend it.

26/04/2026: Excellent meal! My choice was simple (butcher's cut). I asked for it rare, and it was indeed rare—kudos to the chef! That's not always the case in other restaurants. Nice decor, very friendly and welcoming staff. In short, don't hesitate to click the "to drink" button; it's well deserved. I highly recommend it; the whole menu is good.

17/04/2026: A lovely spot, well located opposite the Place d'Armes in Calais. The huge covered terrace is inviting. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't greet us or even smile. As for the food, the salmon waterzooi was very good and well-presented, but unfortunately, the main course was far too overcooked, even though we ordered it medium-rare. We pointed this out to a waiter: no apology, and a surprising response: "Oh, the same thing happened to me just yesterday." In short, it's a good place if you're lucky and will receive a warm welcome, depending on what you order. Avoid the meat unless you like it well-done.

14/05/2026: We went to celebrate our grandmother's 92nd birthday. It was a wonderful time; there were 19 of us, and everything went perfectly, from the aperitifs to the coffee. The food and desserts were delicious. The welcome was perfect. I highly recommend it!
