17/12/2024: Lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The place is very well decorated and lively on Friday evenings. The starter, main course and dessert formula is affordable and the cooked dishes are delicious. The place is ideal for tasting good local beers. I recommend especially if you want to discover seasonal local cuisine accompanied by our delicious beers from microbreweries and local breweries (notably Arrageoise and Goudale)
15/12/2024: On a weekend in Arras for the Christmas market, we stopped yesterday lunchtime to eat, what a magnificent place, the food is just excellent, the owner very welcoming as well as the staff, a little attention for our little dog with a bowl of water , very warm, friendly place, we loved it so much that we returned there this afternoon before leaving for Normandy, thank you for your welcome, we will come back with great pleasure.

A menu of fresh produce, wines by the glass, varied cocktails, beautifully tender meat. Generous portions and reasonable prices.
A good birthday evening in a lovely setting.

28/08/2024: Très déçue du service aujourd’hui ! Clients réguliers de ce restaurant à Bruay, Nous sommes venus manger ce mercredi midi et pour profiter du soleil nous avons choisi de s’installer en terrasse. Le serveur était très froid, à la limite du désagréable : aucun sourire, aucun merci. Quand vous l’appelez pour commander ou demander du pain, vous voyez sur son visage que vous le dérangez…. Bref il n’avait pas envie d’être là. Heureusement ça se passe beaucoup mieux habituellement et c’est pour cela qu’on y revient assez souvent. Mais c’est dommage car comme souvent nous avons bien mangé, les plats du jour sont variés et il y’a du choix dans la carte.

Et ce monsieur nous jette les verres sur la table comme des chiens

29/09/2024: By chance, passing through with my elderly mother, we were very well received. We were able to enjoy fresh sturgeon from Boulogne sur mer, accompanied by home-cooked vegetables and a little sauce which complemented the dish very well. Little flowers on the plate and that’s it 😋.
The dessert, Tip top, a crème brûlée that didn't come out of a brick, no water at the bottom of the dish, tasty and creamy, burned with a blowtorch as it should be 👏
The team is very pleasant even during the heatwave when the room is full and it is a weekday lunchtime with workers so +or- in a hurry: the service is good, even with a touch of humor 😉.

23/08/2024: Nous sommes arrivés par hasard dans ce restaurant, mais nous aurions dû continuer un peu plus loin... La qualité des produits laisse à désirer, bien que le service et le personnel soient irréprochables. Mon amie n'a pas du tout apprécié son poisson, et nous sommes convaincus qu'il n'était pas frais, peut-être même surgelé. Nous avons partagé notre ressenti avec le personnel, qui nous a gentiment offert le café ainsi qu'une portion de frites en geste commercial, ce que nous avons apprécié.
Cependant, je reste mitigé quant à la propreté de ce lieu...
23/08/2024: Nous n’avions pas réservé mais il y avait une table pour deux donc nous nous sommes installés.
Le service ainsi que le personnel sont corrects. Par ailleurs, les produits ne sont pas frais, un fish and chips immangeable ce qui et embêtant au vu du prix (19€).
Le café a était offert ainsi que des frites ce qui relève le niveau de la note. Mais le résultat est le même, les produits ne sont pas bons.
La salle de restauration est sympathique mais les toilettes laisse à désirer, pas de produit pour se laver les mains ainsi que de la saleté.
Conclusion : niveau ambiance au top mais j’ai perdu 45 euros…

03/09/2024: Hello everyone, I have just returned from a week's vacation on the coast. I really fell in love with this restaurant. We arrived without reservation one evening and they found a place for us (even though there were 4 of us). at first but I quickly understood that it was because of their love for the customers. adorable staff from the waitress to the chef! We came back the next day at noon with friends, unfortunately there were no more places inside, they offer a lot of good things outside! And a second taste explosion in addition to the fact that the weather was nice and there are tables outside. I thank this restaurant again, I would come back 10/10 ☺️

04/08/2024: We had a delicious lunch here yesterday! Small restaurant a little off the beaten track. There's only one menu with 3 choices for starters, mains and puds. We both went for the cauliflower soup with an egg and chorizo which was delicious! Then fish for our main, again delicious and perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Lovely wine and local coffee. Very reasonably priced. Lovely chatty host. Merci Beaucoup 😊 😋

06/10/2024: Auf der Durchreise in den Urlaub haben wir sowohl im Hotel übernachtet wie auch im Restaurant abends gegessen. Zunächst waren wir froh, in dem an diesem Tag ziemlich überlaufenen Ort an der Rückseite des Hotels einen Parkplatz zur Verfügung gestellt zu bekommen. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war freundlich, und das Zimmer ließ keine Wünsche offen. Ein kurzer Besuch im Schwimmbecken vor dem Abendessen war angenehm.
Schön, ein Restaurant zu finden, in dem der Inhaber seit 40 Jahren mit Stern und familiärer Nachfolge klassisch französisch kocht. Mit dem Essen wie auch dem Wein und der Bedienung hat alles gepasst. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind, schauen wir gerne erneut vorbei.
03/10/2024: Nous sommes venus au tout début de Septembre. Nous avons étés très bien acceuillis et nous avons vraiment bien mangé. Nous y reviendrons certainement lors d'un futur passage à Boulogne
