27/11/2024: We had a pleasant time. Welcoming service, a top waitress, friendly, smiling, very pleasant. We enjoyed our dishes (Welsh burger for the gentleman, Camembert du Boulonnais Rôti for me). And the concept of dessert to go, a very good idea because after a good meal like ours, we better enjoyed dessert at home. If it wasn't for this takeaway option, we wouldn't have had desserts.

16/12/2024: Le cadre du restaurant est charmant avec sa cheminée au feu de bois . Nous avons pris le menu “ Côte d’opale ” à 44€ . Les entrées étaient bonnes : foie gras pour les uns et huîtres pour une convive . Le plat principal pour nous était la souris d’agneau qui était bonne mais la semoule qui l’accompagnait était fade . Le dessert : baba au rhum était très bon . Dans l’ensemble le repas était bon . Nous avons - par contre - été déçus par le service peu sympathique . Nous avions à peine reçus les apéritifs que notre entrée arrivait… ce qui ne rend pas le moment très convivial, dommage !

11/11/2025: The waitress was lovely and very attentive 😊 The setting is nice and the atmosphere pleasant! We ate there as a family—my husband, our 6-year-old son, and I—during our stay within the city walls. The restaurant is very well located, in the heart of the pedestrian street, perfect for a delicious break 🍽️ As for the food, we enjoyed it: the vegetables were excellent, but the grilled salmon was a little overcooked for our taste. However, a minor drawback was the children's menu: the nuggets need improvement; they really weren't very good 😕 Special mention to the waitress for her smile, her helpfulness, and her kindness—a real plus for this place 👏

24/09/2024: Very beautiful setting, we are not installed on top of each other. Very beautiful decorations unfortunately as far as my experience is concerned it stops there. We arrived at 8:30 p.m. And we received our cold starters at 9:30 p.m. 1 hour after our arrival (45 minutes after orders). Regarding the dishes, one of our dishes was cold. The other undercooking. Concerning the service it was a set of perpetual excuses, each more absurd than the last. As always in these situations, I am taken for a difficult customer and no manager came to take an interest in the bad experience we had…. It's a shame to always believe that the customer is wrongly complaining.

16/11/2025: A very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was excellent. The room was spacious and clean, although the shower had insufficient water pressure. Excellent service, thank you.

24/01/2026: "A friendly spot in the old town," a must-visit! The owners and staff are incredibly welcoming. You can eat there, have a coffee, and enjoy a very good beer. Even your dog will be happy; they give you a little bone-shaped biscuit every time I go, and believe me, that's worth its weight in gold. Ulysses says thank you! Well done, congratulations!
