17/01/2026: Excellent experience, very good food, and the owner and her two other staff members were pleasant, smiling, and chatty. I felt comfortable and not pressured to buy anything more. I didn't feel obligated to eat quickly. Excellent value for money; I ate very well and was completely satisfied, paying a fair price.

15/02/2026: We were seated in the cellar, a freezing cold room! The table next to us was complaining about it too. We came for Valentine's Day. The set menu offered few choices and was more expensive than usual. We received our appetizer platter 15 minutes before our drinks... just enough time to get thirsty. The starters were cold. The menu had few options, and there weren't many desserts left, so we didn't order any, but we were still charged for them! Normally, when we're seated upstairs, we enjoy coming here, but this was a bad experience!!

07/02/2026: A disappointing experience at Le Coq d’Or. The waitress was cold and clearly rushed, which didn't make for a pleasant meal. I asked for ketchup, which never arrived. The dining room was very noisy, and the tables were much too close together, making you feel like you were sitting right next to your neighbors. The decor also looks dated. I ordered a cordon bleu with Maroilles cheese. Never again. And the fries were straight from the freezer; if I'd wanted reheated food, I would have eaten at home. Overall, I didn't have a good time and I don't think I'll be back.

21/01/2026: It's always a pleasure to rediscover Mr. Duvivier's flavorful cuisine, long known in the Lille suburbs... here everything is fresh and homemade, so it's normal to wait between courses, and it allows you to savor a good time with friends or family.

09/11/2025: What a surprise! Nothing could have prepared us for how amazed we'd be. Once inside the restaurant, we found a simple yet effective menu. We ordered gourmet burgers, and we can honestly say they were delicious. The presentation was excellent, the hamburger patty was superb, and the fries were very good. It puts some restaurants to shame. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, and it was easy to chat. Thank you again for your hospitality. We'll be back soon. Signed, the Norman chef... lol

22/03/2026: We looked for the cameras because it was such a joke. No choice, no wines, and especially no beer. The much-touted cocktails are a joke, no alcohol, no meat... Congratulations to the four young people who have to fight against all odds to keep a restaurant afloat with absolutely no management.
