19/08/2026: The food was okay, nothing special, but the service really needs improvement. The waitress took all our orders at once, so we got our main course before our drinks. Then she didn't give us any bread or water. And it was way too noisy...

26/07/2026: Once was enough. The waitress was very nice, but the meal wasn't great. The pie was barely cooked, not what it used to be, and the cleanliness wasn't up to scratch. The price remained the same.

09/09/2026: The charcuterie board is expensive (€21!) for what it is. The mussels were excellent, but the veal kidney dish was overcooked. Quite a few extras, like the live sports broadcasts, the beer selection, and the dartboard.

06/09/2026: Excellent, we had a wonderful time. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waitress was very pleasant, smiling, and kind. The food was very good, the dishes were piping hot, and everything was fresh. We will definitely return.

28/07/2026: I used to go there regularly. Now, I prefer to go out of my way rather than set foot in the place. Since the change of ownership, the quality has steadily declined. It's sad to see a business that had such a good reputation lose everything that made it great. My thoughts are with the employees, who have to deal with this situation every day.

27/07/2026: We had a table reserved for a birthday party, and they asked if we wanted to wait until the appetizers were finished before ordering the main courses. Of course, we said yes, without suspecting that the wait would be rather long... We had a 22-month-old with us, and we ordered his main course first. It was just fries and a chicken breast, which took ages to prepare, and when a child is hungry, it's no fun for either of them or the parents... Incidentally, the boards at the foot of the high chairs aren't suitable if the child is a bit older. Anyway, the main courses arrived... And there were two pleasant surprises out of five... Steak and fries were fine, kidneys were fine, but the Welsh rarebit had barely melted cheddar, a slice of bread that wasn't even dipped in the bottom, and no sauce... The recipe needs improvement... The same went for the Flemish burger, where the cheese wasn't melted, and worst of all, the filet mignon with Maroilles cheese was incredibly difficult to cut; it must have been a nervous little pig! In short, the result didn't live up to our expectations.... And the icing on the cake, if I may say so, came with dessert. A cheese plate, ordered at the same time as the desserts, arrived well after everyone had finished theirs. Not very pleasant for someone to be eating alone and be told they're being waited for... What's more, I had to go and ask for it, and the excuse I was given, and given again when the bill arrived, was that there was a communication problem between the kitchen and the dining room... I think that as customers, this isn't our problem; it's up to the owner to manage their staff! People are already making the effort to travel and eat there despite the chaos of the construction and the detours... If on top of that they're going to be disappointed... As I said, I won't be saying "see you soon" because we removed this address from the previous owners' list, where we used to enjoy delicious meals... That's the reward for trying to support our local small businesses!

12/09/2026: It's worth highlighting the excellent service; the waiters were very helpful and attentive. The food is wonderful, the dishes arrive at the table smelling delicious, and the taste lives up to expectations – very tasty!
