15/02/2026: It's Valentine's Day! The goal today isn't to seduce someone to seal the deal, to turn into a young rake, but to celebrate our love after more than fifty years together. So, no messing around: let's go to a master chef, let's spend a romantic evening serenaded by piano music, let's go to GU. We made a reservation online ten days before the evening to secure a shared table. Three large ice cubes in our already chilled tomato juice accompany an amuse-bouche (?) in the form of two ridiculous little verrines whose containers are perplexing. The starter, "Gratin of Scallops from the Boulogne Boat," is more like a boat, with a very pronounced mushroom flavor that overpowers the taste of the scallop. The dark brown edges of the plate are evidence of a dish that has been reheated. This starter, however, is not. Delicious foie gras, but unfortunately, we couldn't share it to compensate because there was only one slice of toast. The fish and sauerkraut were cooked perfectly. For dessert, the crepes were difficult to eat with a spoon and therefore not very tasty. The crème brûlée, however, wasn't finished. As you can see, there's no love affair between us and GU, and it won't last.

15/02/2026: A wonderful discovery for us. Impeccable service and a very attentive waiter. High-quality, refined cuisine featuring local products. The house-smoked salmon was excellent. A generous dessert. Special mention for the pianist, who made the meal truly delightful.

05/03/2026: Service 10/10 The restaurant was quite dark and could use a few more lights to see what we were eating, but it was very cozy and warm. The food was very good and plentiful! Both the pasta and the pizzas were excellent! We were just surprised by the Burrata appetizer… It wasn't a real Burrata, but a Burrata Cream in a small pot! Otherwise, great value for money! We'll be back.

We were welcomed and served by Quentin and appreciated his professionalism, dedication, passion for his work, and the quality of the conversation at the end of our meal. We were not previously familiar with this restaurant in the group. We highly recommend it and will return on our next trips to the region.
