But what matters most is the food: the presentation, the more than ample portion, and the taste!.... And all this for a very reasonable price! In my opinion, there's nothing to criticize. Perhaps the best value for money I know, and I've been to many restaurants... Not my first visit, and certainly not my last...

The thoughtful touch for those with gluten intolerance was much appreciated; it's so nice to feel understood when you have this type of intolerance. Thank you again for a lovely meal, and the pleasant outdoor space is a real plus. Highly recommended!

14/08/2026: A small, family-run restaurant. I highly recommend it, whether for the quality of the food, the service, or the prices. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about… Authentic mussels and fries, local mussels, homemade fries, and homemade desserts. Jérôme's welcome and service were incredible; the restaurant has such a warm atmosphere that I'll definitely be back when the food is so good! The terrace is right next to the road, but Jérôme and his wife have cleverly arranged it so you don't feel like you're right next to the road, and they've succeeded. In short, very welcoming, the manager is incredibly kind, and even the other customers are friendly! The value for money is also perfect. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

29/08/2026: February 22, 2014 A bistro awarded the "Artisan en Or" label. Arriving without a reservation, we were given the option of choosing one of the tables near the entrance: we sat at the one next to the bar, under the beer tap. From the daily menu, we skipped the appetizers and ordered the pork cheek à la Perle du Nord, accompanied by a bowl of fries (all you can eat!) washed down with a Chti amber beer on tap – the Christmas vintage. We also had three scoops of ice cream: Speculoos, Nougat, and Gingerbread, topped with homemade Chantilly cream. When we left, people kept coming in; the place was almost full. September 30, 2017 Regional dishes, generous portions, historic mining district. The only downside was the background music broadcast by an FM radio station. Blues, rock, jazz, world music, etc... a mix of other styles would be welcome. Otherwise, perfect. Second visit to this restaurant, not disappointed. Draft beers and wine list. October 10, 2024 Third visit. We had a wonderful meal. Regional cuisine with locally sourced ingredients. Themed music, a good selection of affordable draft beers... in short, everything runs like clockwork here. See you next time! July 19, 2025 The non-alcoholic Coconut King cocktail is perfectly balanced, well done! I thoroughly enjoyed the ficelle picarde as a starter, better than the one I had in Mers-les-Bains, which was already quite good. The Liège meatballs are a sweet and savory dish, a delight! The meal was generous; I had to settle for sorbets for dessert. I couldn't finish with the Liège waffle on the daily special, but that will be for next time. August 29, 2026 We started with the Coconut King cocktail, a non-alcoholic island-inspired treat, followed by a hearty vol-au-vent, tender homemade duck confit, and fig tarte tatin with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Another delicious meal shared with family.

The owner does all the cooking, and his wife provides excellent service. Warm and inviting decor. I highly recommend it! A place well worth the detour. We will gladly return.

27/08/2026: My brothers and sisters, I entered Bon Accueil like one enters a church... By chance, with a slight hunger and a long list of sins. I left a convert. They tell you, "Good village address, refined and even quite sophisticated cuisine." The Reverend's translation: they give you a taste sensation with the smile of a wine merchant who knows he has the best wine hidden under the pulpit! Here, you smell the real deal, you taste the real thing, they cook with fresh ingredients. The set menu, worthy of a gourmet restaurant, is 28 euros... You finish licking your plate clean! The service? They are so welcoming that I thought they were going to adopt me. If paradise has a canteen, it's in Attin!

05/09/2026: We were looking for a pub and stopped by chance. It was accordion night… we had a fantastic evening! Great atmosphere and excellent food! (One small but important bonus: dog-friendly!!)

30/08/2026: This place was near to our accommodation and was a fantastic place of authentic France . Atmosphere was cozy and local inside with a mixture of families and couples Dining or having a casual drink. Food was outstanding even if we couldn’t understand the menu. The waitress tried her very best to explain the menu to us in English but we muddled through. Bar service was very quick and easy and waitresses were lovely and accommodating. Would recommend for a taste of France
