30/04/2024: Wasted evening. Passing through the area and coming from Bordeaux, we were happy to dine at your place. Alas... The service is approximate, it's very good to train apprentices, you still have to take care of them a little and not leave them alone in front of customers. We asked what yuri (?) was... we will never know... No one from management came to our table throughout the evening, neither at the beginning of the dinner, nor at the end. The scallops (for 2 out of 3 guests) arrived cold. We reported it, we were treated to an ironic remark from the person serving, they came back to us 10 minutes later reheated but served in a pile, goodbye to the beautiful presentation. No one from the kitchen came to ask if things were better. Apparently, two failed dishes at the same table didn't bother anyone in the kitchen. The 70% cocoa dessert is a good dessert... but with vanilla, we looked in vain for cocoa... They didn't bring us the bill, I went to ask for it, a bearded and frankly casual, even rude young man made me pay it standing at the top of the stairs leading to the toilets. The same person was non-existent when I reminded him of the cold scallops episode. 450€ for three, I expected better. We never met the cook's wife, although I asked to meet someone from management, this gentleman did not wish to respond to my request, I did not want to insist by raising my voice. At this price maybe I should have done it... It's good to be starred, it's also good to remain humble and attentive to customers and consistent with the promises of the menu. We probably won't come back. THANKS.

21/03/2024: While passing through St Omer, I had dinner yesterday in this restaurant: a wonderful surprise! The dinner was delicious: mascarpone leeks as a starter, guinea fowl, creamy parmesan sauce, crunchy vegetables, polenta and to finish, an apple dessert and white chocolate ice cream. Warm environment The owners are friendly and passionate about their job. I recommend 200%!

20/03/2024: A very, very pleasant welcome and service. A restaurateur who knows his dishes like the back of his hand and who explains the origin of his products to you. Inventive and quality cuisine. A real treat for your taste buds! I highly recommend this establishment which deserves to be known and recognized. A big thank-you !

17/05/2024: 1st time for us. Great meal, nothing to complain about. By story too noisy, canteen effect where we can't hear each other to discuss. Arrived at 8 p.m., left at 9:30 p.m. worn out by the noise.

16/05/2024: Good little restaurant in the city center. We went there 15 years ago at the time of the old rock tavern style formula without cutlery. The place, modernized, has gained in class even if it has lost a little of its originality. For my part, I really appreciate having cutlery and not having to eat with my fingers. Very good value for money, homemade products and you can feel it. A big plus for the mayonnaise, the fries with beef fat and the homemade whipped cream which comes out of a siphon and where you can see the vanilla beans, which is rare!

Very nice experience of a village that we discovered a few years ago and were surprised by the work they did to improve this completely magical place, clean, organized and well maintained with beautiful new features. The estaminet is friendly, we had a great time there. Absolutely worth discovering. Thank you to the whole team who put this exceptional place back together after all the disasters.
