28/08/2026: Food without taste. Did not like anything about it.

27/08/2026: I'm sharing my experience at this establishment. We had dinner there, four adults and four children. The staff was really unfriendly. Even though I know it's the end of the season, the least they could do is be pleasant to their customers. The children ordered pasta carbonara, and I think there was a problem with the cooking because it was completely burnt. And to top it all off, when it came time to pay the bill, which was €123.50, they charged me €124 on my credit card, saying they had to round up on the card machine. I think that's robbery; it's a bit too easy for them if they take €0.50 or €1 per family at the end—it makes a nice profit. Finally, we ate at the bar, and while we were eating, we could hear the bartender criticizing the customers and saying he couldn't wait to finish his shift.

29/08/2026: ⭐️ A beautiful restaurant… but disappointing service We had a wonderful time enjoying both the setting and the food. The terrace is absolutely stunning, the layout is excellent, and the atmosphere is truly superb. Sitting on the terrace in such a pleasant setting is a real pleasure. A big thumbs up to the chef: the dishes were delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately, the service severely marred the experience. We found it extremely poor: unfriendly, unwelcoming, and frankly unpleasant. We felt unwelcome for much of the meal. One particularly disappointing point: the cutlery used for the appetizer had to be reused for the next course. For example, after eating the octopus salad with the same cutlery, we then had to use the same cutlery for the steak tartare. This seems completely inappropriate in a restaurant of this caliber. The service was also very inflexible. Modifying or even simply adapting a meal seems virtually impossible, with no real effort to find a solution for the customer. It's a real shame, because the setting and the food are excellent and could make this establishment a truly wonderful place. But the service clearly needs improvement: cold, unpleasant, unprofessional, and very uncustomer-focused. Congratulations to the kitchen for the quality of the dishes, but a major drawback is the service. We sincerely hope this aspect can be improved, as the restaurant's potential is undeniable.

26/08/2026: Terrible food, soggy chips, brown, poor quality of meat, the only thing I appreciated was the wine

08/09/2026: Tamaris mussels from Spain. My partner and I went to this restaurant expecting to eat Tamaris mussels, as clearly stated on the sign and the menu: "Tamaris mussels specialty." When a customer next to us asked where the mussels came from, the waiter said they were from Spain. Without that information, we wouldn't have known. And when we pointed this out to the owner at the checkout, his response was ludicrous: "Customers aren't happy with the Tamaris mussels because they're too small, so we use mussels from Spain." Of course, you pay the same price. Imagine the profit margin they're making with their misleading advertising! It's a disgrace. No compensation whatsoever. Avoid this restaurant at all costs; it's completely unprofessional, just like the owner—pathetic.

12/09/2026: Thank goodness they're not open often! Because when they are, the whole neighborhood knows! The place closes at 1:45 AM... give or take... And the neighbors joke about it from time to time. "Have a good weekend, well... as long as the place stays closed!" Because when it's open, it's hell trying to get any sleep past midnight. And from a legal standpoint, I'm not sure it's even legal... I should have a word with the police about it sometime soon! The nights are shorter, and if you have to work the next day, believe me, your eyes will be stinging! The place burned down a few years ago. Probably due to insurance fraud, and that was a good time! I'm telling you! Because no matter how good the place and its food might be, when you're a neighbor, you can't get to sleep until 2:00 AM! 😐 So I know some of you will take the easy way out and tell me, "Just live somewhere quieter!" But to those people, I say this: You don't move and change your life just because of a place and its clientele that make a racket at night! It's probably very pleasant when you're just passing through, although… As a customer, when I arrive at a certain hour, I know how to behave, and I don't scream like a banshee being slaughtered or laugh like a pack of rabid hens. I've known owners who knew how to manage their customers, who educated them to respect the neighborhood that wants to sleep, and poor France, in a sorry state, that has to work the next day. 🥲

30/05/2026: Always a pleasant experience, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the meal was delicious. A fun evening and a great ambiance. I recommend it for families or groups of friends. You'll have a great time.

28/07/2026: A discovery made after a road closure due to a fire led us to the Hôtel du Pont d'Or in Barjols, a family-run establishment spanning three generations. The welcome makes you feel like you're arriving at a family gathering. The staff, and especially the owner, are very kind and always smiling; it's very pleasant. We slept, and slept well. The hotel was recently renovated. The breakfast is very generous 😋😋 and we had dinner at the restaurant. The food is excellent, and the menu caters to various budgets. I think this establishment will become an annual stop on our refreshing trip to the Alpes de Haute Provence!

13/07/2026: A place that retains its original charm, excellent aioli on Fridays, very friendly service

20/09/2026: Horrible! We ordered two tasteless salmon and tuna tartares, and the pasta from the children's menu wasn't available (on a Sunday...) so we got a mush of sorts called ravioli instead. Not to mention the terrible service (forgetfulness, unpleasantness, no water, long wait). In short, don't go there.

20/09/2026: We came this Sunday, and were told there would be a wait, no problem! We were with a baby, and the waiter took orders from all the tables that arrived after us! It was a disgrace, we left.

23/08/2026: We had a wonderful dinner in a spacious and pleasant setting. Very clean and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The meal met our expectations (quality included the side dishes). Homemade food served with a smile. Thank you, Victoria! 😉

22/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome with a smile and in a cheerful atmosphere!! I want to thank the waiter (I regret not asking his name, otherwise I would have gladly mentioned it!) who was lovely to us, but especially to my son, who is the reason for this review. Keep this waiter, he's a gem!! The crepes and coffees are delicious 🔟/🔟!! We recommend it a thousand times over ☺️🫶

11/08/2026: I bought an olive oil and a pissaladière for about €25 and paid with a €100 note. Mr. Autin had to go all over the market to find change. When he came back, I politely asked him if I was only 70 cents short. He said yes, even though he knew perfectly well he still owed me €5.70. It's a disgrace for such a well-known caterer to treat his customers like fools. Always check your change, especially if you're paying with a large bill.

20/07/2026: We used Julien and his team for a paella delivered to our home for our civil wedding; I highly recommend them, everything went perfectly, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

23/08/2026: The place is very nice. Fast service.

22/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. There were five of us, and we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for our meals, with overcooked meat and sometimes very small portions. Despite this, no compensation was offered. Then, when we went to the bar, we were asked for €10 plus one drink per person to enter, even though we had just spent €270 at the establishment. When we explained that we had just come from the restaurant, the bouncer curtly replied, "Okay, yeah, have a good holiday." It's a shame, because the location is beautiful, but the experience and especially the service were really lacking. We won't be returning.

18/02/2026: We visited Venus as a couple without a reservation and received excellent service and a warm welcome. I highly recommend them.

07/09/2026: Appalling service! The waiters are awful; you get the feeling you're bothering them. We weren't even offered appetizers because of our appearance, while everyone else on the terrace received them! The glasses were dirty! There are plenty of bars on the port. We won't be back!
