23/07/2026: Just don't go here The building is tired and needs renovation. Paint flaking off the wall in communal areas and in the bedroom. The bedroom is small, the bathroom is fairly large, but dated. There is a sea view, but it is over a corrugated roof, and there was no direct access to the sea. Parking is difficult and the road outside is busy The description of the bedroom suggested it had a fridge and a microwave, but these are in a shared area outside the room, a dark, dingy dirty shared area. There was only one microwave, though we had our own fridge, great, except it wasn't working and was dripping water. We decided not to stay and the subsequent conversation with the owner (by telephone, they weren't present on the property) lived down to the standard of the building. She was not prepared to concede any of the points we made about the accommodation, insisting that everything was as described, she was not prepared to offer any refund despite us not using the room at all - I would have been happy to pay for the first night - but she was having none of it. Looking at previous poor reviews no doubt she will respond with a comment, but she has skin in the game, I'm just trying to warn people away from a substandard venue.

28/06/2026: The location is beautiful for some rooms, right on the waterfront. Unfortunately, the studio was nothing like the photos of the best rooms, and this was only mentioned after booking. The studio was dirty and practically uninhabitable: worms on the floor, dust everywhere, and unclean bedding. Very disappointing

30/07/2026: A shaded terrace with fans was very pleasant in this heat. The service was good, and the dishes were tasty and generous: mashed potatoes, flank steak, truffle ravioli… everything was excellent. The same goes for the desserts. The dishes are served in small stainless steel pans, which adds a nice and original touch. However, be aware that the children's menus are also served in this type of container, which can get very hot and cause burns.

30/05/2026: Very bad experience at Coffea La Valette. On several occasions, I have observed a complete lack of organization and consideration for customers. During my last visit, I had been waiting for quite some time with my 3-month-old baby when the staff started serving and ringing up customers who had arrived long after me. Despite my comment, there was no reaction, no apology, and no gesture of goodwill. The staff simply carried on as if nothing had happened. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. On a previous visit, when a salesperson had started to serve me, they left me to attend to another customer before returning to me. The wait is interminable when you want to buy whole bean coffee, and the attitude of some of the staff is particularly unpleasant. A minimum of respect and attention to customers should be the foundation of good service. I am very disappointed and do not recommend this shop.

05/08/2026: Unpleasant staff, dismissive towards "certain customers." Especially the gentleman with the spiky haircut! We were told, "You're only having one drink," and "Well, they can just wait!" After a 30-minute wait, we got up, and not a single comment from this waiter, who politely let us leave. Avoid at all costs! The Café du Senequier, a little further down the road, helped salvage our evening somewhat! All customers are treated with respect, and the staff are very pleasant!

10/08/2026: The waiter, if he can even be called that, given the insult it is to associate the noble art of serving with such a goatish individual with unspeakable manners, displays extraordinary rudeness. Besides serving with his back turned and ignoring the diners' requests, perhaps trivial ones (but precisely those that determine the value of the service), he acts arrogant and superior, unstintingly giggling and rolling his eyes. We wait a long time first for our order (which is greeted with the manners described above) and then again for the few drinks we've ordered, which are placed on the table with the manners of a dockworker. When it comes to paying, I point out my rude manners to the waiter, who can't help but mock me and the others, referring, among other things, to our nationality and suggesting we eat elsewhere (the only resolution we shared with him, but one we had already reached several minutes earlier). I am also sorry to report the filthy and decadent bathroom.

31/07/2026: What was, for many years, one of the best mussels and fries restaurants has become a tourist trap. The mussels are poorly cleaned, they're cooked in advance and then reheated, and the sauce (alas, cold) is "Roquefort"—I'm still looking for the taste of cheese! The fries are unlimited, but when you ask for more, you get a sour face! As for the service, they don't have time for you; they're always busy refilling tables! I almost forgot the carafe of wine... a plonk that, I suspect, is watered down. Goodbye to the amazing mussels and fries of my youth!

30/07/2026: The staff were pleasant and welcoming, and the price for three people was reasonable. I tried the chicken burger, it was very good, I recommend it.

30/05/2026: A dated campsite to avoid at all costs. No swimming pool, no beach access, outdated and dirty communal facilities, absolutely unsuitable for children. The management reflects the state of the campsite. The worst stay ever, don't even bother.

02/05/2026: This is a quiet and pleasant campsite, and the mobile home was fantastic! Thank you to the staff for their warm welcome. Easy access to the sea and a nearby port. I will definitely be back. ****
