24/08/2024: Très bonne adresse!!! Cuisine authentique dans un cadre typique! Patron qui connaît ses produits et surtout du tout fait maison de l’apéritif au dessert!!!! Je reviendrai !!!

03/12/2024: I've looked at this little restaurant a few times and thought that I should give it a try. The weather allowed us to sit outside; the seating inside was limited. The table and chairs were basic and uncomfortable for a long, lingering lunch. The service was friendly and the meal arrived promptly. I say it arrived promptly but .... we ordered a Tagine/Tajine and a Pastilla but we were told that the Pastilla would take 1 hour to cook. So we ordered one Tagine and thought that if it was OK we would order another. The Tagine did arrive, it was fresh, hot but lacked the depth of flavour you would expect. We ordered the lamb and the amount of meat was reasonable. Overall the dish was acceptable without being outstanding. A stew rather than a tagine. Something that didn't have any of the flavours that many people would put into their tagines. Typically ras-el-hanout or a house blend of cayenne pepper, paprika, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon etc. Needless to say, we decided not to order another dish. the glass of wine was larger than other places in town but the red was cold, very cold. When we went to pay, we were charged 2€ extra for eating on the premises. This was despite the fact that the menu gave 1 price for "sur le place" and another for taking away. So yes, they charged the eating price plus 2€. If you would like a tagine in Uzès, do not try here. Maybe wait until Le Provencal put one on their plat du jour Food 2/5 Wine 2/5 Value 1/5 Atmosphere 3/5 Coffee - had mint tea but no speciality coffee

17/07/2024: C'est un lieu basé sur la danse. Si vous venez uniquement pour manger (pour répondre au dernier avis), alors peut-être passer votre chemin. D'ailleurs il n'y a que des personnes qui pratiquent la danse. Par contre n' oubliez pas de comptabiliser dans le prix de revient du menu, le coût de l' animation (DJ, ou petit orchestre), et là le rapport soirée/budget devient raisonnable. Les jeudis SBK, les vendredis "années 80", les samedis "toutes danses et bals populaires", les dimanches "musette et bals populaires". Il faut noter en respectant le contexte, et le rapport repas et animation proposés. Bref un lieu qui a gardé l' esprit "guinguette" de nos grands parents. Pour information : vous avez changé de fournisseurs pour vos sèches ou calamars depuis 2 à 3 ans, ils étaient nettement au dessus avant....

31/05/2024: Serveur/se pas très aimable. Une cuisine pas bon du tout . Les cuissons pas respecté. Les desserts pas fameux. On déconseille fortement. Ma compagne est tombée malade à cause du repas !!!! ( En étant de la profession, sa me dégoûte)

13/08/2024: While passing through Nîmes we were surprised by this place! Small, friendly restaurant for sale on site or to take away (same price). The choice is more limited than elsewhere but this is justified because everything is homemade! Very affordable price I recommend!!!

06/07/2024: Very affordable and delicious, there is little choice but everything is excellent I recommend 1000 times (ps: the room is a little small it cannot accommodate many people but you can have takeaway)

08/09/2024: The meat from this butcher shop is not certified halal, that is to say by an independent and recognized organization. So 99% not halal as with most “halal” butchers in France who buy in bulk from the world leaders in meat and who arrive in refrigerators packaged in bags and trays. While you're at it, go to the village's non-halal butcher!

22/07/2024: We stayed at the Hotel and so we got a table at Duende… this is how you can stop the story but the experience was mind blowing even after being through ADMO pop up in Paris (snob snob snob). The dishes were inventive, tasting and in the right amounts and the wine pairing was superb. So good awesome, wine awesome and then a so nice and welcoming crew that made ultra cuisine fun again. Vegan menu for the wife - spectacular ! Playful with going through all variations of taste bud happiness. And the total was way below what I expected. We love you guys !!!

13/07/2024: Trovandoci a Nîmes abbiamo alloggiato all’hotel Maison Albar El Imperator. Semplicemente splendido! A cena siamo stati al ristorante Duende che si trova nello stesso edificio. Un’esperienza indimenticabile. Il menù Duende è stato superlativo! Nove portate da sogno concluse col trionfo del dessert, vale a dire sei prelibatezze create dal maestro Pierre Gagnaire - che firma la carta del ristorante - e realizzate dal bravissimo chef de cuisine Masaki Nagao. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: tutti bravi, efficienti e preparati ma una particolare menzione la merita Melanie, che ci ha assistiti con competenza e cortesia per tutta la serata. Se capitate a Nîmes non perdetevi questo angolo di paradiso.

29/06/2024: Not great.... the bartender a little arrogant. The young lady is more of a snack bar...than a restaurant

15/03/2024: I highly recommend this brewery! The team is adorable and efficient, the food is very good and what can we say about the atmosphere... Keep it up ☺️ looking forward to seeing you again
