24/06/2026: SHAMEFUL!!! I cried after leaving the restaurant. The food was poorly served, with hairs inside 🤮 From the bar, I could see the kitchen and WOW, stains on the walls, a filthy kitchen that certainly didn't meet regulations. I advise anyone in their right mind against going to this restaurant.

18/07/2026: And you can't even give it a zero, it's unbearable! The music is awful, with bass so loud it'll burst your eardrums. I wear hearing aids, I took them out but it was still too loud. Plus, they talk about a "guinguette" (a type of open-air café), but this music is anything but a guinguette atmosphere. I don't recommend this place and I want everyone to know it. 😡

18/07/2026: Pure bliss, a place where you feel good, surrounded by nature, and a team that is attentive and very friendly. The family lunch was much appreciated by young and old alike.

28/07/2026: A wonderful discovery during a family meal. The decor was tasteful, the welcome warm, and the food bursting with flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, especially the homemade cocktails. (Don't hesitate to ask for the recipe.) Coloring materials and crayons are available for children to keep them entertained.

21/07/2026: What a great find! Delicious pizzas in a lovely setting (terrace) and delightful service. Special mention for the thoughtful attention given to our little dog.

24/07/2026: A very quiet restaurant with a large terrace offering excellent cuisine at affordable prices. The menu is short, but this guarantees fresh ingredients and original dishes. The service can be a little slow when busy, but it remains friendly and efficient. A great place overall!

The set menu with various hot and cold mezze to share (€30 for two) offers excellent value for money and allows you to discover authentic Lebanese cuisine. The staff is attentive and the welcome is always warm. Just remember to book, the restaurant is often full!

22/08/2026: Great restaurant, we had the €39 set menu. We were pressed for time, but the service was very accommodating and we finished our meal (starter, main course, and dessert) in 45 minutes, and it was excellent too!

20/08/2026: There's no denying it, every time we stay a few days in Saint-Malo, we have to go to Tanpopo. The menu changes daily depending on what's available at the market and the choices of this couple who run the restaurant. That's why there's always a pleasant surprise. It's absolutely delicious. €25 for a Bento with dessert is, for a truly authentic Japanese restaurant, more than reasonable. Well, see you very soon. We went back to Tanpopo again. The excellence is still there, with the same delight in a delicious meal. The price hasn't changed and remains very reasonable for such high quality. Thank you, we'll be back again and again. The Loiseau Family Well, here we are in February 2023, and we're back. An amazing value for money for a Bento at €28 all-inclusive, plus a ramen soup and a two-chocolate dessert. Gault & Millau awards this a chef's table. Magnificent, with very friendly service and a Japanese cook whose kindness and skill are truly touching. See you soon! And here we are again for lunch, with the Bento box as always a delightful surprise. Well, no suspense here, we had another wonderful meal. A marvelous establishment.

14/08/2026: A fantastic discovery at Tanpopo! The tasting menu was truly excellent: each dish was delicious, original, and expertly prepared. The ingredients were high-quality, and the variety of dishes throughout the meal, without any repetition, was quite impressive. You can really appreciate the work that went into each plate. A wonderful place that I highly recommend! Plus, the couple who run the restaurant are absolutely lovely and very welcoming!

07/08/2026: Passing through Fougères, we were pleasantly surprised by this pizzeria. A very warm welcome, excellent food – just what we needed to give us the energy to get back on our bikes. We highly recommend it.

The main courses were very generous and flavorful, each with its own unique touch (sea bream and pollack). A perfectly sweet dessert to end this wonderful meal (peach and pistachio tartlet). Thank you for sharing this experience with us; your welcome was perfect, and the camaraderie within the team shines through in your cooking! We will definitely be back.

14/08/2026: A very pleasant place, the welcome is warm, the dishes are carefully prepared with fresh ingredients, the service is quick without being rushed – flawless in every respect. (Even the restrooms are designed with customer comfort in mind). Go without hesitation, whether you're a local or just passing through (less than 2 km from the motorway but in the peaceful countryside).

26/06/2026: It's a joy to come to Le Lanternier. That terrace in summer, that delicious, generous cuisine. I come to Le Lanternier regularly and it's always a treat. It's become my favorite spot.
