While randomly searching for a small, family-run restaurant with good food… we were lucky enough to get a table for two without a reservation and find ourselves inside (despite the sweltering heat), facing the chefs. The organization was perfect, and the management of the 50 covers was incredibly professional. In short, the originality of the dishes, their quality, and the impeccable service left us feeling like we'd discovered a hidden gem! We highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return as soon as possible. Thank you to the entire team.

13/09/2026: A traditional restaurant where the food is delicious. We had the Chinese hot pot for two, as well as Peking duck and spring rolls; all the dishes were excellent and the welcome was very warm. We will return as soon as we have the opportunity.

20/10/2026: Les Portes Mordelaises is the name given to this ancient 15th-century fortified gate and its twin towers. They are very well preserved and make a striking impression upon arrival, as if you've stepped back in time to the city's medieval era. Furthermore, their historical significance is noteworthy, since the Dukes of Brittany traditionally entered through this fortified gate to be crowned in the cathedral. It's a worthwhile stop for the surrounding area and the imposing defensive architecture, although the monument itself can be explored very quickly, serving more as an essential photo opportunity within Rennes' old town than a place to linger.

I'll say it again, after so many others: fresh, high-quality ingredients (the desserts and side dishes were a bit lacking; that's not really what you come for, but it's a shame). The welcome and service were top-notch. Finally, the price: very reasonable 👍 I'm giving it an overall rating of 5 to maintain a good average; it's a restaurant that's preferable to some within the city walls.

18/10/2026: Fantastic experience in Saint-Malo at this all-you-can-eat seafood buffet restaurant. The service was attentive and the staff very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the varied buffet (soup, seafood, hot dishes, cheese, and dessert). A superb find in Saint-Malo!

31/08/2026: We were made to wait in the entrance while there was no one in the dining room and no one to tell us we were being attended to. The manager was arrogant, unpleasant, rude, and disrespectful, judging customers without knowing them, and using the informal "tu" form only to respond rudely. We've never had any problems in the past, but we won't be going back anytime soon.
