Initially subtle, each dish enhanced its seafood, culminating in an explosion of taste. The amuse-bouches preceding the meal perfectly set the stage for the tasting that followed. I was a guest; I don't know how much we paid for this delightful experience, but my wife says it wasn't expensive for a 3-star restaurant! Go with your eyes wide open (to admire the setting and the view).

I think this restaurant is a must-try in our culinary scene, firstly because of its family history with spices, and secondly because of its connection to the sea... Dining at Le Coquillage is a bit like taking a boat trip along the spice route: sea views, dishes cooked in broth, exclusively seafood, a world tour of spices... an enchanting journey!

An interminable wait, plus having to go back to the table an hour after we arrived to ask for our order... Another trip to ask for water (already requested twice when we ordered), another trip to order dessert, then coffee... Then having to fetch a spoon myself to replace the one that fell on my head when dessert was served (the football match on TV seemed more interesting than offering a sincere apology). If this restaurant's concept is "self-service," then you're in the right place; otherwise, run away! It's a shame, because the food is good and the setting is nice.
