The only time you might be disappointed is if the restaurant is closed... The welcome, the service, the freshness of the ingredients, the value for money: it's all there. I highly recommend it, and remember to book, IT'S ALWAYS PACKED! (If that's not proof that it's "the place to eat"!, I don't know what is!)

Just look at the photos I've shared to understand—every detail is tastefully considered 🤍 As for the food… pure bliss 😍 I tried the salmon dish of the day: perfectly cooked, generously topped with salmon and finished with melted cheese—an exceptional balance of flavors. And of course, the must-try traditional steak on the bone, tender and flavorful, accompanied by homemade potatoes and incredible sauces. Every bite was pure pleasure. Everything was incredibly good, from start to finish. Warm service, a friendly atmosphere, and sincere, generous cuisine—you can taste the love for local produce and authentic flavors. 👉 I wholeheartedly recommend La Côtelette to anyone visiting Grenoble. 05/12/2025: Hello, I stopped for an evening at this nice, welcoming little restaurant. The food was very good, the atmosphere was friendly, and you can take your time to eat well and chat. The restaurant was very clean, having been recently renovated. There's plenty of parking available. Cars, trucks, buses, oversized loads, and campervans can all be accommodated. The price of the meal was quite reasonable in my opinion. 1 drink 1 full meal 1 breakfast 1 night in the parking lot Less than €25. I highly recommend this establishment.

24/01/2026: This review accurately summarizes the current situation at the restaurant, so you can decide if it's worth it despite the mixed reviews. We've been going there for about 10 years, but only occasionally. It's an all-you-can-eat buffet with Asian specialties… and more! Upon entering, you're greeted by a server who takes your order quickly when it's not too busy. Be warned, it fills up fast, but for only €20 on weekends, you have access to all the dishes. Rest assured, there are plenty of drinks, appetizers, and other options besides the buffet. What's most surprising is the incredible selection: whatever your tastes, you're sure to find something you love. My plate looked like a Picasso painting, and yet it didn't even represent a quarter of the dishes available in the center of the buffet. A major plus: a cooking station where a chef prepares your meat or other ingredients right before your eyes. For those who read my previous review, here you'll find a real ribeye steak, which is a real plus. As for the service, kudos to the servers: a very well-coordinated team, taking orders, refilling carafes, clearing tables quickly despite the crowd… hats off to them! The overall atmosphere is also very pleasant: the customers all seem delighted with their meal, and that's always nice to see. A few points for improvement: few instructions on the dishes for people with allergies, some preparations may not be entirely "homemade," and some very generous portions (sushi, etc.) require serving yourself small portions to be able to try everything! Questions remain about the employees' working conditions, especially since the restaurant is open 7 days a week. Prices also vary depending on the time of day, being more expensive on weekends and in the evenings. Another bonus: ice cream and sorbet machine, popcorn, microwave, and many other surprises not found in all-you-can-eat buffets. In summary: if you want to treat yourself and your family at an affordable price, go for it! But avoid it if you're on a diet, the temptations are too great.
