09/04/2026: Despite our family concerns upon arrival at the Auberge de Villeny, the owner's great kindness and understanding led me to want to mention that we were able to enjoy our meal that very evening. The couscous and my fish were excellent. 24/04/2026: We spent two nights as a family at La Lionnière bed and breakfast, visiting the Château de Chenonceau and the Beauval Zoo. We highly recommend this peaceful place to those who love tranquility, nature, and animals. The owners gave us a very warm and kind welcome. They introduced us to their animals, who roam freely. We were particularly charmed by Totof, a young castrated goat who loves being brushed, much to the delight of both children and adults. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. We also enjoyed our hostess's delicious homemade crepes and jams. A big thank you!

29/11/2025: The hostess was very welcoming and friendly. The inn is peaceful and the bedding very comfortable: I had two excellent nights' sleep with my children. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking a beautiful garden: ideal for starting the day in complete serenity. I'll definitely keep this address in mind for next time.

12/04/2026: SUPER KEBAB! The meat is excellent, the fries are super crispy. The kebab is very generously filled and the dish is served quickly, piping hot just the way we like it!

22/05/2026: We had booked a table for 11 on Saturday, May 16th, which was still available at 1:30 pm. A very pretty establishment with a Parisian brasserie style interior, even if the exterior might seem a bit dated, don't let the uninviting facade fool you! The welcome was excellent. The food was very good, everything is homemade, including sauces and desserts (the peppercorn sauce is delicious). They offer a menu and a daily specials board. As for the service, a young lady looked after our table with great courtesy, patience, and humor. Perfect! The more than reasonable bill made us appreciate this restaurant. A complimentary rum was offered as a digestif. Thank you!

11/05/2026: A true Parisian bistro! Good food, very friendly service, reasonable prices, brasserie atmosphere, and charming decor.

15/05/2026: A very good experience. The menu is simple but demonstrates quality with well-executed and delicious dishes. The key lime tart was succulent and a pleasant surprise, especially with the orange wine. It's just a shame there wasn't a meatless main course on the day I visited, but I was able to order a starter as a main course, and the portion was sufficient, so that made up for it.

14/05/2026: A very good restaurant with fresh produce. The dishes are simple but excellent. The wine list is also very good, with some excellent vintages.

22/05/2026: So glad we were turned away from two other restaurants at 1:30 pm. It led us to discover the burgers at Napoléon… amazing!!! I've never had such good burgers. And the owners' friendliness only adds to the desire to go back. Thank you!

22/05/2026: A fantastic time, delicious food and great ice cream to finish. The owners are super friendly, Harley enthusiasts who might soon discover Can-Am motorcycles.

16/05/2026: The pizzas are very good, but the service is terrible. It's far too slow, even understanding that it's because of the crowds. Unacceptable: still no dessert after 40 minutes, and the waiter tells you, "We're canceling." Seriously, they can't even press a button to make you a coffee. They're taking advantage of the tourists at Cheverny Castle. Not cool 😡

16/05/2026: We came for dinner as a group of five, in the middle of our Loire à Vélo cycling route, and we had a fantastic evening. Original pizzas with a light crust, efficient and friendly service, and a really nice owner. The prices are very reasonable for such quality. We highly recommend it!

09/12/2025: I came for the stag party of my friend's uncle's son (kisses, youyout!) and I loved it: a wild, bloodthirsty brawl with Julien (homemade pizza specialist) emerging victorious. After the fight, how could I forget the shots offered by the owner, Pat, whom I send my love to. He kindly offered them to us when we arrived in leopard-print thongs and Basquouzzettes, and even adopted our sartorial customs (it suited him perfectly). Great place to have fun with friends, I recommend it and I'll be back.

28/11/2025: At Pat by Mel, everything is perfect. A warm welcome coupled with superb service, a private room 😉, delicious food, and a very reasonable bill. Karaoke every Friday and themed evenings once a month (not tried). Happy hour Monday to Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A second visit to Pat by Mel and just as good as the first. I highly recommend Mel's croque monsieur, which is absolutely divine. It's simply HUGE in both size and flavor, and all for a very reasonable price. What more could you ask for? Go for it!
